The Tucker Carlson thread
This man has come up like a rocket in the last few months. I previously knew him as a bow tie wearing conservatard. But he's come out as a full on real journalist and it's glorious to watch.

His shtick as far as I've seen so far is he gets liberals making stupid claims on his show and forces them to try to provide evidence, eventually calling them out on their stupidity when they fail to do so.

Here's some gold:

I'm sure this fountain of gold will continue, so please add to the collection. Love this guy.

RE: Tucker Carlson appreciation thread
Tucker Carlson was IMO significantly responsible for the Trump victory. People like my parents, moderate conservatives that initially thought Trump was a buffoon and criticized him for his lack of modesty and the anti-McCain fiasco, watched Carlson rip these idiots apart and it completely changed their mindsets. The older generations and religious Americans may still not be 100% happy with Trump's bravado and off the cuff remarks, the "grab em by the pussy", and his aggressive nature but they are now well aware that he was a far superior candidate than Crooked Hillary. I guarantee you blue collar moderate Americans across the country were swayed by his interviews.

Jesus that was two years ago? I listened to that today and thought it was recent.

Where did this guy even come from. He wasn't around during the election.

He was fighting the good fight on the morning show. He did do a good job of helping Trump throughout the election cycle. He's really been an MVP for a long time.

Yeah he just didn't have his own primetime show till after the election, but he's been a solid Ron Paul/ alternative media guy for a long time, and a Trump guy during the election.

Fox smartly realized what the consumers wanted and gave him a slot at 7 pm. These same people should make the smart decision to not renew Megyn "Womyn" Kelly's contract as well.

I like his new show - he does rip apart libtards on a daily basis. However, given all the evidence, he seems purple pill (see video).

Fox News is actually in an extremely precarious position on this contract with Kelly. They have reportedly already offered her $20m to stay- "O'Reilly money". They thought CNN or Good Morning America was going to step up, but so far that interest has been foggy, to say the least.

But according to this October ratings data, Fox lost to CNN for the first time in 25yrs- in the biggest must watch political news month of our generation. Brit Hume was a weak link- Carlson has rectified that situation. But what if they continue to see Kelly lose to Sulking-Short-Hair Maddow at MSNBC often enough?

The ratings then would not justify the O'Reilly type salary. Would Fox then lower their offer, combined with the general lack of interest in the market? They should, but dare they risk paying a woman less; being absolutely secure in their ability to deflect all the equal work/ equal pay bullshit that feminist Kelly followers would undoubtedly yell from the rooftops?

I think Fox has only one choice. Wait until the absolute last minute and hope she gets "stolen away", while consistently implying that the salary offered will be a reflection of her ratings during the next 6 months. They are going to go down more. People don't like her. Her pride will then kick in and she will take another position out of spite for Fox. And they should let her go.

Then take Janine, Carlson, Hannity, and O'Reilly and place them in the best order for ratings.

^^^^^^
Solution: Get rid of Kelly, bring in Tomi Lahren for a lot less and move Tucker to 9PM. Troll potential is through the roof with that lineup as leftists hate her and she is a hotter younger blonde on the rise. Between hate watching and the normal Fox crowd having people they like again in the age of Trump, Fox will dominate ratings with ease.

To be fair, he married his HS sweetheart at 22 in 1991. She was the daughter of the Principal at the religious New England boarding school they attended, and they have 4 kids. His personal experience was geared towards traditionalism from the start, and was largely shielded from the acceleration of the cultural changes away from it. Not surprising that he would be a bit purple pill.

Two shitlords: Carlson and Shkreli

However, I disagree with the title. The best Shkreli interview was the one he did about epipens and Harambe.

RE: Tucker Carlson appreciation thread
Tucker Carlson was the one that brought us the famous

"shoulder thing that goes up" moment.

Quote:On a 2007 episode of MSNBC's program Tucker, Tucker Carlson interviewed McCarthy about the Virginia Tech massacre and her proposed reauthorization of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban. She said that the legislation would ban large capacity "clips" of the type used in the Virginia Tech massacre and that the class of guns chosen prohibited by the law were those used by gangs and killers of police officers. When pressed, she admitted that she did not know the function of a barrel shroud, also included in the legislation.[21][22][23][24]

What is Purple Pill?

He did note, before taking the "man up" stance, that he didn't actually disagree with anything she'd said.

Also, he did make the point that taking responsibility and caring for other people is fulfilling for men. This is not a feminist argument and it's not inconsistent with the general red pill concepts. When feminists preach "man up" they are co-opting the more fundamental masculine argument of responsibility and twisting it for their own ends, trying to make it an unconditional "man up and give me the beta bux."

Ultimately there wasn't time in the conversation to get any deeper. It's possible that his position was even somewhat Devil's Advocate. Conflict makes for good television, after all.

Curious why Tucker seems to be getting a 7-9 slot occasionally (like today), taking O'Reilly's slot. Anyone know?

I think I lost some brain cells watching that video.

This is the true beauty of debating leftists - they are completely irrational. Even when you give them the opportunity to prove their views through reason they're completely incapable because their beliefs are not at all based on it.

It's like having Mike Tyson vs the bronze medal finalist at the Special Olympics.
