RE: Travel Alone or Find a Wing?
Meeting other guys is easily the biggest reason I'm on this forum. It is much more difficult to meet quality guys than it is to find girls.

Is there a guide on the forum about how to handle meetups or how to contribute and add value when you meet forum guys? I read through the rules and did some searches but couldn't find anything.

I guess when it comes to nightlife my preference would be to buddy up as to not look like I a fool standing somewhere alone. That's how it feels most of the time. Plus you can usually bound off each other and get charged up quite well if you click.

I travel alone. That's not even up for debate. I will meet people along the way, but I will never go on lets say a 2-3 week trip with a buddy.

It's much easier to get to know new people when you travel alone, and if you meet girls it sucks to have a buddy hanging around that you don't know what to do with.

Look like a fool standing somewhere alone? Get out of that mind set first and foremost because your social conditioning has only made it seem that way. You would run errands like grocery shopping alone right? Then why can't you rock up at a bar or club solo? There are several excuses you could use if a girl cares enough to ask, but I guarantee it won't be costing you the lay either way. That's all on you. Girls are actually more likely to approach if you're doing it right, which means a fun vibe, the right cheeky/confident expression on your face and interacting with random people around you.

I nightgame solo all the time, even in the small city that I live in and have always done just fine. Hell, last night I pulled a really cute 7 (who initiated with me) which probably wouldn't have happened if I had a wing.

I'm solo all the way.
By travelling solo I'm forced to approach people and make friends. There is nothing solo about travelling solo.I am going to meet people end of story.I don't get how people travel solo and talk to no one I just don't get it.I've got good mates now for over 20 years I met travelling solo. All solo travellers themselves.

I fall out with mates ,as in when I travel it's about me.Mates cock block me and don't leave me room to move.
If I like a town ,place, bar or person and I want to stay then I do it.This is hard when your travelling with someone.

When I have travelled with friends I don't seem to build up the networks I do solo. Also I don't plan I just have a flexible general outline of what I'm going to do.

I love traveling alone for the flexibility too. Just wondering what other side of coin is like.

Anyone have positive experiences finding someone to split baller pads with, run tinder social with, after parties, etc?

I'm ok with going out alone. But clubs can really suck unless you've got someone to split a table with. And a lot of nights I'm tired. I can run a two set ok but a larger mixed group is tough solo. You have to be on for hours without a break. It'd be nice to have a wing who can share the crown.

I find this opposite. I meet good dudes all the time. It's difficult finding girls that aren't out of their minds. :/

I like to travel alone but ideally have friends in that location or who are also travelling there.

I like to be able to do what I want.

With that said having a friend in a location is great for night game / partying. Its a heck of a lot more fun getting a bottle of whisky at a night club with some buddies than going solo.

RE: Travel Alone or Find a Wing?
I've had a little experience doing both so I'll add my input here.

I feel like the main benefit to traveling alone is without a doubt flexibility. This is the path I've taken less but I find it relieving to 100% set your own schedule on YOUR trips. Not to mention I think that's when your mind starts to broaden the most. When you take back what you're seeing and doing on your own if it's memorable when you're by yourself on the other side of the world. Also, I think another big benefit is being able to socialize with strangers easier. I feel like people are more open to talking to me when I'm on my own somewhere then if I'm with a group. This goes for both guys and girls. The main downsides I'd say are if you get bored somewhere or start to feel lonely at an unexpected time plus the expenses of accommodation and local transportation.

I feel like most people on this forum prefer to travel solo and I don't blame them. It has its perks. But I do like traveling with friends sometimes. However, I've pretty much stopped traveling with my family once I went to college because we had different interests and as a guy fresh out of college now, there's not a lot of perks and bonding activities in this stage of my life with them on vacation. With friends, I've found the main keys to be to have a strong rapport with them and bond with a common interest that you're traveling to wherever you're going for. I remember one guy I wasn't the closest of friends with gave me an opportunity to go across the world with him but we didn't have a ton in common and by the end of the trip, our interests differed enough where we just split up the last few days. However with other friends, they've gotten me by tough road trip drives and ENHANCED my experience on certain types of vacations.

There are a few trips where I wish I was solo more of the time (ironically mainly involving when I try to get girls) and there are other trips where I couldn't imagine the trip being nearly the same or sometimes even possible without those friends. The main key here seems to be to know your audience and really only travel with casual friends you have a very strong gut feeling that the rapport hasn't been given enough of an opportunity. Otherwise, stick to your closest friends that you know you can be stuck in the middle of no where with and still have fun.

As far back as I could remember, I always wanted to be a player.

RE: Travel Alone or Find a Wing?
What is a good practicr when travelling with one buddy from home? We let each other have dates with girls and fuck in the hotel room, but I can see him getting very grumpy when I spend too much time with a girl, that is, he claims me for entertainment.

For example, I want to see a girl (really like her) but my travel buddy demands me to go out with him.

Any opinions on this?

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

RE: Travel Alone or Find a Wing?
Outside of this, is the claiming for entertainment normal? I understand that if we travel together, we go out together often, but if the travel buddy is getting angry when I date a girl too much is he right in a way or is that too much claiming? (He accepts fucking girls, but if I spend too much time with a girl I see him getting annoyed and angry).

Sounds like you need a new travel parter, if he’s really that annoying, why bring him along at all?
