That picture is not representative at all, first of all there were very Indian and Pakistani women in the the UK in the 1950s. The men came first and the women arrived later. Almost none of them wore western clothes, they wore clothes like this:

Indian women who are born and raised in UK mostly wear western clothes now. It's the Pakistanis who are wearing hijabs.

RE: British Politics Thread
The dress that woman is wearing is called a shalwar kameez. It's the national dress of Pakistan, though it is also worn in India and Bangladesh. The majority of Pakistanis in Britain comes from Mirpur and Punjab, which are by their standards less extreme than those in the west of the country. Those in the east of the country were converted from Hinduism, while those in the west were converted from paganism, which was more brutal. It's these in the west you will more often find burqaed over their eyeballs, while the others more often wear something like the shalwar kameez. However, in Britain the Mirpuri have become more radicalised and have changed to more Middle Eastern cloaks for their women. This is the home of that podggy terrorist who killed a bloke up in Glasgow last year for being the wrong type (more peaceful) Muslim. This is also the place of origin for most members of Pakistani-Muslim rape gangs. Integrated Pakistanis tend to be Punjabi like Zayn Malik and Amir Khan.

Priti Patel is a Gujarati, a demonym for people who come not far from the Indian and Pakistani Punjab. Her father is a proud UKIP supporter. She says Thatcher inspired her to get in on the game, though I find her voting record lacking, particularly on taxes. However, I did look through mug shots of all the conservative women and most of them are and look like and are illiberal autocrats. Priti is a far cry from the iron lady. When Tess May came onto the scene many hailed her as a tough woman and compared her to Mags. Though I had dubbed her "the pig iron lady" everyone now knows she is.

Unfortunately I can't remember what it was, but there's been something in the mainstream press within the last couple of weeks or so, where a person was either charged, or convicted, for making the kind of comment that I make, day in, day out. I mentioned to a group of older friends, who couldn't believe that someone had got into trouble for normal conversation.

Carl Sargeant Labour party of the Welsh Assembly has committed suicide.

The Welsh Assembly Labour party member who was facing an internal investigation into allegations over his personal conduct has apparently taken his own life.

Wife and two kids.

Where will this rabbit hole end

Bring out the girls now, I've just got to see this.....

Quote:An ex-Welsh Labour minister who faced a party investigation into allegations about his personal conduct has taken his own life, it is understood.
Carl Sargeant, 49, lost his job as cabinet secretary for communities and children last Friday.
He was suspended from Labour after the first minister learned of a number of alleged incidents involving women.
A family statement said they are "devastated beyond words" at the loss of "the glue that bound us together".
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said the death was "deeply shocking news".

From what I've seen so far, he would be the second MP to have been suspended/fired from his party without even knowing what the allegations were.

ISIS bride-turned-Texas Christian: Racism radicalized me

Quote:She went from the Islamic State to the Lone Star State.

The former bride of ISIS’s highest-ranking American member has described for the first time how she fled the extremist group in Syria and has settled down with her four kids in a suburb of Dallas, according to a new article from The Atlantic.

Tania Georgelas, 33, who became radicalized as a teen in England and later moved to Syria with Texan husband John Georgelas, explained how she and her hubby planned to raise their kids into jihadi fighters.

“Our dreams were to have land of our own, raise a family and train them be assassins or whatever, soldiers, and then eventually go join the jihad,” she said.

The London-born Tania recounted the isolation she suffered growing up as a British-Bangladeshi — how people would throw rocks through her family’s windows, and how that fueled her hatred for the west and her radicalization as a youth.

“I faced a lot of racism,” she said. “I was looking for a way to retaliate, and I wanted honor again.”

Then, it clicked the day after 9/11.

“I went to school the next day. I said to my friend, ‘Oh isn’t it dreadful what happened?’, and she looked at me and said ‘Was it so bad?’ At that point I became really jihadi hardcore.”

From there, Tania began attending rallies, such as one against the war in Iraq, eventually walking away with a pamphlet for a Muslim dating website.

That’s where she met John, the Texas-born military brat who converted to Islam shortly after 9/11 — and who eventually convinced her to move to Syria.

The pair wed in 2004, when Tani was heavy with their first child. Tania was five months pregnant with their fourth child in 2013 when John relocated them to Raqqa, Syria, against his pregnant wife’s wishes.

“John wanted to go to Syria, and I said I wasn’t ready, not while the kids are small,” she said. “He said ‘It’s only for two weeks max.’”

But she fell sick not long after they arrived, and John sent her back to the states, where she briefly lived with his parents in Plano, Texas.

At first it was isolating returning to a country she hated, she said.

“I was very depressed that I’m in a society for so many years though was evil,” she recalled. “I had these children for one reason only — so that they could serve god as mujahideen.”

Soon, the ideological grip of ISIS and her husband seemed to loosen — she filed for divorce and began looking for love on a secular dating site, where she got a flood of attention.

“I went to the dating website Match, I wrote an essay: ‘I have four kids, my husband abandoned me to go become the next Osama Bin Laden.’ And I got 1,300 replies,” she said.

Within 24 hours, she met her new beau, an IT professional named Craig, who wasn’t turned off by her strange past.

“She said right away that her husband was in IS, and I said ‘Okay, that’s alright,’” he recalled.

Now that she has left Islam, Tania practices at Craig’s Unitarian church and is taking online college courses with the aim of working for anti-radicalization efforts.

“I don’t know if I want to show people my story — it’s kind of a horror story,” she said. “If anything it’s me trying to get my message out to people in similar situations and saying ‘This is not how to live your life.’”

Asked how they feel about their father, one of Tania’s children told the Atlantic it would be “unforgivable” if their father had blood on his hands — otherwise he should move to Sweden and “start over.”

Tania, who teaches the children that their father was wrong but motivated by a twisted sense of justice, admitted still holding a flame for her radicalized former husband.

“I tell my little ones he joined the dark side of the force,” she said. “I don’t think he’ll ever change his way of thinking. I can’t help but love him.”

Priti Patel quits cabinet over Israel meetings row

Quote:Priti Patel has resigned as UK international development secretary amid controversy over her unauthorised meetings with Israeli officials.

She was ordered back from an official trip in Africa by the PM and summoned to Downing Street over the row.

In her resignation letter, Ms Patel said her actions "fell below the standards of transparency and openness that I have promoted and advocated".

The PM said her decision was "right" as "further details have come to light".

Ms Patel had apologised to Theresa May on Monday after unauthorised meetings in August with Israeli politicians - including prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu - came to light.

But it later emerged she had two further meetings without government officials present in September.

Ms Patel arrived at 10 Downing Street via the back door - after earlier flying back to the UK from Africa for her meeting with Mrs May - and she left some 45 minutes later.

She was accused of breaching the ministerial code, which sets out the standards of conduct expected of government ministers.

Her resignation from the cabinet is the second in seven days, after Sir Michael Fallon quit as defence secretary on Wednesday last week amid allegations about his behaviour.

In her letter to the PM, Ms Patel said: "While my actions were meant with the best of intentions, my actions also fell below the standards of transparency and openness that I have promoted and advocated.

"I offer a fulsome apology to you and to the government for what has happened and offer my resignation."

In her reply, Mrs May said: "Now that further details have come to light, it is right that you have decided to resign and adhere to the high standards of transparency and openness that you have advocated."

She added that Ms Patel should "take pride" in what had been achieved during her time as secretary of state.

The BBC's chief political correspondent Vicki Young said Theresa May "decided to give her colleague the dignity of resigning".

But she said the response from Mrs May was "interesting", saying: "It was clear from Theresa May that if she hadn't resigned, she would have been sacked."

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson told the BBC: "Priti Patel has been a very good colleague and friend for a long time and a first class secretary of state for international development.

"It's been a real pleasure working with her and I'm sure she has a great future ahead of her."

Meanwhile, Labour's deputy leader Tom Watson has written to Mrs May over claims passed to him that Ms Patel met Foreign Office officials in Jerusalem, which he says makes it "impossible to sustain the claim that the FCO was not aware of Ms Patel's presence in Israel".

Mr Watson said he was "pleased" that Ms Patel had resigned as her undisclosed meetings were "a clear breach of the ministerial code, and of diplomatic protocol".

Does this include the 30,000 jihadis already resident in the UK which contrasts with the 9,000 commissars policing internet "hate speech"?

Only a complete moron would trust this woman. The husband probably had to go on the lam, so to protect his wife and kids he sent her to America and told her to play up the brown female victim card. So many willing betas to be duped, one day and she finds a husband? I'm afraid our civilization is doomed, gentlemen.

RE: British Politics Thread
Here's an example of why nobody in UK gives a flying fuck about the Church of England. The Roman Catholic church is also engaged in faggotry. In the last section one person (a woman) has the balls to leave the church:

Let little boys wear tiaras: Church of England issues new advice to combat transgender bullying for teachers

Quote:Boys as young as five should be able to wear tiaras at school without criticism, teachers in Church of England schools are to be told.

Male pupils should also be free to dress up in a tutu or high heels without attracting any comment or observation, according to anti-bullying rules sent out by the Church yesterday.

The instructions for the CofE’s 4,700 schools said they should not require children to wear uniforms that ‘create difficulty for trans pupils’.

This appears to give official backing to schools that ban skirts to avoid discrimination against transgender children.

Schools are also told they cannot use the Christian faith or Bible teachings to justify behaviour that is considered to amount to bullying – for example, identifying a transgender pupil by a sex other than the one they have chosen. The advice contains instructions on how to report bullying, including sample forms on which teachers are encouraged to name the alleged bully and their target, and use tick boxes to describe what happened.

Examples include name-calling, social media trolling, or insulting gestures.

The rules to ‘challenge homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying’ follow initial guidelines published by the Church three years ago which said being gay can be good and pupils should ‘revere and respect all members of the diverse community’.

The official teaching of the CofE, however, remains that gay sex is sinful and that members of the clergy should not be in an active sexual relationship with someone of the same sex. The Church also says marriage must continue to be between a man and a woman.

Conservative Christian activists condemned the new rules yesterday.

Andrea Minichiello Williams of Christian Concern – an evangelical member of the CofE’s parliament, the General Synod – said: ‘These rules are unkind, unloving and lacking in compassion. We are all against bullying, but the Church is using these guidelines to pursue an agenda that runs counter to the Church’s teaching.’

She added: ‘We are getting to the point where if you are not careful the slightest slip from the correct agenda in a Church of England school will get you punished. The anti-bullying agenda is aimed against people who step out of line – the anti-bullies are becoming the bullies.’

The new guidance came as a Christian teacher was suspended from a school in Oxfordshire after accidentally calling a transgender pupil ‘girl’ instead of ‘boy’. Joshua Sutcliffe, 27, faces a disciplinary hearing this week in which he could lose his job, after the parents complained.

The CofE rules say children in nurseries and the primaries that make up the majority of Church schools should be free to follow their own inclinations when they dress. They state: ‘In the early years context and throughout primary school, play should be a hallmark of creative exploration.

‘Pupils need to be able to play with the many cloaks of identity … Children should be at liberty to explore the possibilities of who they might be without judgment or derision. For example, a child may choose the tutu, princess’s tiara and heels and/or the fireman’s helmet, tool belt and superhero cloak without expectation or comment.’

The rules add: ‘Within school communities there will be members of staff who are co-habiting, in same-sex relationships, bisexual, trans or exploring their gender identity.

‘Same-sex parents and trans parents may be among the parent body and in most secondary schools a minority of pupils will come out as gay or lesbian during their years in the school.

‘An increasing number of children and young people are being referred to gender identity services … an increasing number of primary and secondary schools are reporting incidences of children wishing to identify as other than the gender of their birth.’

Any school that does not teach the importance of gay or transgender rights will be ‘failing in their duty to prepare their pupils to live in modern Britain’, the Church rules say.

The guidance adds that there can be ‘no justification for this negative behaviour based on the Christian faith or the Bible’. It states that ‘the Church of England’s teaching on human sexuality and a range of Christian views should be taught, as well as a range of perspectives from other faiths and world views’.

The Most Rev Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, said: ‘Central to Christian theology is the truth that every single one of us is made in the image of God. Every one of us is loved unconditionally by God. This guidance helps schools to offer the Christian message of love, joy and celebration of our humanity without exception or exclusion.’

Roman Catholic schools are to cut the terms ‘mother’ and ‘father’ from admissions forms to avoid offending step-parents and same-sex couples.

It follows a complaint by a parent against Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Primary School in Wandsworth, south London, after it used ‘mother/guardian’ and ‘father/guardian’ on a form.

The Office of the Schools Adjudicator upheld the complaint, saying the wording might ‘be taken to imply that the school is restricting its definition [of parent]’.

The Catholic Education Service is understood to be preparing a form using ‘the family’ instead.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Drag queens to visit nursery schools to teach about LGBT

Drag queens are being brought into taxpayer-funded nursery schools to teach children about sexual diversity.

The Drag Queen Story Time organisation, based in Bristol, was formed ‘to teach children about LGBT tolerance’.

Nursery bosses say the sessions will help children to ‘see people who defy rigid gender restrictions’ and grow up to combat hate crime.

They want to target two and three-year-olds to influence them early. The drag queens, including Donna La Mode, will read stories to the children.

The sessions are being held at seven London Early Years Foundation nurseries over the winter – and if they are successful they will be rolled out across all the LEYF’s 37 sites.

But leading child psychotherapist Dilys Daws, feared they could sow the seeds of confusion in young children about their own sexual identity.

Welby aide quits over the COfE's 'heretical teachings'

An adviser to the Archbishop of Canterbury has quit in protest over the Church of England’s liberal teaching.

Lorna Ashworth, a conservative evangelical who sat on the Archbishop’s Council, said the CofE has become ‘revisionist’ and ‘heretical’. She also resigned from the General Synod.

Mother-of-three Mrs Ashworth, 47, is disappointed by CofE moves to condemn those who try to persuade gay people to become heterosexual, and by its deepening accommodation of the transgender lobby.

She said: ‘In light of this revisionist agenda and the heretical teaching … I am no longer willing to sit around the table, pretending we, as a governing body of the Church of England, are having legitimate conversations about mission.’
