Interesting, as the label appears to be the recipe for pemmican.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

Chicken is better than a protein bar.

Avoid. They use soy protein as the primary source if I recall correctly.

If been eating the Kirkland/Costco brand Protein bars when I want a little snack at times. Put those bad boys in the microwave for 10 seconds and the chocolate ones taste like a hot brownie!

I agree I have tried the power bar protein plus and didn't like the taste much at all. I just get my 3 or 4 whole food meals a day and that's enough protein for me.

I'll have to try that tomorrow, just ate a chocolate one for the first time, it was hard as a rock and the flavour wasn't that good.

Just tried that with the white ones, about 15 seconds in the microwave and it tasted pretty good, good tip. A little bit chalky still but it makes me want to eat the whole box right now.

You could be lactose intolerant. If the whey protein used isn't 100% isolate with all of the lactose filtered out and you're lactose intolerant it's like chugging a giant glass of milk.

It's about $18 usd for a box of 20 and have the same calories, nutritional stats, and ingredients as quest bars. They also taste as good as quest bars. If I had to guess I would say Quest produces the bars for costco under different flavors so they are different. It's no secret that there isn't a kirkland factory making these protein bars. The costco ones are all natural (no sucralose) and only 4 of the flavors of quest bars out of the 20+ they make are sucralose free.

Do you know which Quest bars are sucralose free? I am a big Quest bar eater but I'd prefer the most "natural" flavor choice...
