RE: French Presidential Election Thread
I saw today that the current first round polling is:

Le Pen- 27%
Fillon- 20%
Macron- 17%

Although polls are hardly reliable, if this were the outcome of the first round then we'd all be very happy!

Yes very happy, until the second round, blasphemy of a democracy, occurs and Le Pen ends up on the losing side.

Whoever comes first in the first round should be president. But who am I kidding.

If she loses the election I'm sure France will be the Canary in the coalmine. Sweden might be suicidal but France has more deep seeded problems.

Keep in mind that George Soros is funding Macron and spending a lot of money to stop Le Pen during the French Presidential Election.

It's backfiring, the media has been pumping up Macron and vilifying Fillon and le Pen. PenelopeGate's timing is off, they hit him too early.

This election is still Fillon's to lose. I think he'll beat le Pen, though by a smaller margin, like 55-45. I don't know what the odds are right now, but taking Fillon a couple of weeks ago would have been a great bet.

Marine Le Pen speech interrupted by a Feministe protester

From a different angle. This Feministe chick is batshit crazy.

Nigel Farage called out PM Theresa May for snubbing Marine Le Pen.

Same video, but on YouTube.

Another interesting video is her speech at an anti-EU populist summit in Germany.

They've massively overplayed their hand. I think it was over two weeks ago that there were media reports that the prosecutors would be bringing criminal charges against Fillon and his wife "within a week". Now they're saying that the investigation will continue. It's clear that they've got nothing against him.

Now they're going after Le Pen on similar grounds. It's so blatantly transparent that it's embarrassing.

It's pretty clear that the goal was to knock out Fillon allowing Macron into the runoff round where was favored to beat Le Pen. That didn't work, so now they're hoping to do a similar number on Le Pen in hopes that voters that left Fillon for her over the allegations will in turn drop their support for her.

So it looks like Macron might have a shot at winning round 1 over le pen and fillon's staff are abandoning him. Alain Juppe might actually replace Fillon in the coming weeks as he is looking hopeless in the polls.

I can't believe Macron is ahead. Are these polls even credible?

RE: French Presidential Election Thread
The polls are manipulated, but Le Pen does not seem to have any chances of winning anyway. The sheisters would have pulled together after her win anyway. She would have needed a 50% overall approval rating among the French.

France has a 15-20% immigrant population - they might go out voting en masse, also all the SJWs and brainwashed will go out voting en masse, so I expect this time around all leftists, Muslims and blacks to vote for anyone but LePen.

France is as good as done - it will choke on the blood of diversity.

I wonder how many Frenchmen the Islamists have to kill and how many rapefugees have to enter the country and turn Paris into a shithole? They will probably sing Kumbayah when ISIS nukes Paris.

By the way - Le Pen might still win the first round, but it would have to be by landslide.

RE: French Presidential Election Thread
The percentage of muslim voters in France is closer to 10%, and their voter participation rate is lower than average. I think she can win if she climbs up to the mid/high 30s, she's definitely going to get some of the center right vote in the runoff. She doesn't need to poll over 50% approval, look at Trump. But right now she's only in the mid 20s.

Fillon's fate will be settled in the next 2 weeks, the final deadline for parties changing candidates being in mid-March. I still think he has a decent chance to win if he can survive till then. The gap with Macron is still fairly small, and he's at the very bottom now. The polls might also be rigged in Macron's favor.

RE: French Presidential Election Thread
The non-Muslim Africans will vote for anyone but her as well and there are a ton of them in France.

Also Trump was pretty close to 50% if not 50% due to all the illegals voting in states like California. Besides - the voting system in the US favored him.

We will see - the votes may be manipulated. All supporters have to go out and vote for her. She may win the first tour, but I doubt that she will win the election unless the Islamists do her a favor and kill a couple hundred school children in the most gruesome way. And even then I am not sure that they will blame Islam, since according to them nothing is Islam's fault as it was founded by someone like Jesus.

That's the thing, it's pretty much all or nothing now.

I usually hedge my bets once the hysteria wears down, but I no longer have to the 23rd of April, I have only 'til the 15th of March.

At the time, I thought the French people would be getting scandal fatigue as the establishment is using the legal system as a weapon against both Le Pen and Fillon. I also confused Penelope's summons on the 18th(after the candidacy cutoff) and Francois' summons on the 15, making him vulnerable.

Fillon has dropped to 10 to 1, longshot Hamon looks like a good value at 30-40 to one. Both look like good bets at this point IMHO.

http://www.oddschecker.com/politics/euro...-president

One new poll has Macron 1st, ahead of le Pen, and gap widening. Not sure how much you can trust it.

"The Odoxa poll put Macron on 27 percent in the first round on April 23 with Le Pen behind him on 25.5 percent and Fillon on 19. Le Pen has consistently led first-round polls this year."
