1. Mexico is not collapsing. Never has been. Yes, the country has serious problems. Some of these are regional only. None of them are fatal to the country at large. Not a 'failed state'.

2. Many of the problems come not from 'corrupt politicians' or 'bad laws' but from cultural values. Mexicans care more about their families than about their communities or the society in general. This lack of civic duty leads to not taking action to solve societal-level problems. Mexicans are passive aggressive. Most won't complain about being abused. Historical reasons are cited for this.

I will put here some non-PC stuff and would like to preface that I am a believer in reincarnation. As Soul we are equal, but our respective individual, cultural and even racial makeup in time are highly different.

I would say that most of the problems of Mexico can be found in:

1. Diversity not being a strength - it always creates less social cohesion and what is called here civic duty.

2. The cultural system were rather negative even long before the first White conquerors came to the area - so essentially they were oppressing each other far worse than most Europeans had done to each other even 2000+ years ago in Europe.

As for systems alone being responsible for Mexico:

(01-14-2018 04:44 AM)El Padrone Wrote:  ^ Jared Diamond's thesis on the factors behind economic success has been soundly debunked in the book Why Nations Fail. Think, whats the difference between the two Koreas? The two Germanys?

Systems matter indeed, but this is a faulty analogy, because both Mexico as well as the US has a very similar basic system founded by Europeans:

[Image: mexicos-political-history-rafael-moreno-...1496121818]

Just like the US it is a federal republic and various European factions ruled over Mexico even in the past.

Here is what is the main reason for Mexico's result in achievement:

Strangely enough the graphic for the USA is quite similar in terms of distribution, but Mexico's ruling 15% making up the majority of it - during the creation period of the nation it was way over 80%:

The most advanced South American country due to the struggles by one now decried dictator named Pinochet is Chile:

[Image: internet-market-in-chile-3-638.jpg?cb=1403160875]

Now agreed that a system is very important and Argentina despite being overwhelmingly white is slightly worse than Chile, the GDP per capita of South America in map form looks like this:

IQs among various ethnicities are known and no reason to go into that. Essentially after a nation drops below a certain level, then it becomes ever harder to create an advanced system that is controlled and counter-controlled by intelligent groups up until the last corner. It becomes easier for the smarter ruling elite to rule over the other tribes. Even when you have some ethical intellectuals who come to power their attempts of creating a civic overall responsibility are met with too many obstacles and they usually give up quickly returning more to the get-rich-and-don't-care-about-anyone-else model.

Also here is where the diversity disruption enters as a diverse country usually has less adherence to a civic union - it is more tribal and family oriented.

You could even make the case about many African countries where I met some family members of their current leadership - all doctors, lawyers and businessmen above an IQ of 130. But they swim in a sea of less competent people.

To create a Swiss Africa you would have to take the top 10 mio. smartest Africans, put them into into a country of an average IQ of 120, give them a republic - US style constitution and then wait whether they can succeed with it. I am personally convinced that they can and would create a Switzerland of Africa.

---------------------

So finally I would say that Mexico is the result of previous system, too much diversity, tribes which require more k-selection for a longer time and some negative cultural bias (even the Catholic religion has been adopted there to more of a death cult).

I would also like to state that it's not lost or anything, but I don't know whether the current constellation will bring order into negative outsets - personally I think that the country would have to go through a lot of changes and I am not seeing anything positive on the horizon - also based on the current globalist plans, the continued drug war and the reality that it is easier for the current intellectual elite to rule over the disorganized non-civic minded people.

Argentina is a shithole outside BsAs, that's why you find all the argies working as waiters in Condesa and other areas of Mexico DF trying to make some bucks.

You are correct about your Chile vs Mexico argument though.

Hey I notice this as well. I see a lot of Argentinians in Mexico. My question is why though?

What motivation do Argentinians have to move to Mexico and work as servers? If they made the long trip to go to Mexico, why not just hop on over to the US?

That is a very good question. I do not personally know anyone that traveled to Mexico to work, and most people i know would jump into the chance to work in the USA (or Europe) than in Mexico. The few i know that went to work in Mexico are usually artists that wants to get into a bigger market.

I'm not an expert on this but here is my speculation:

1. Argentinians consider themselves superior to Mexicans in education, culture and race (height, white skin). In Mexico, they feel like they're something special.

2. Mexicans have a love-hate relationship with Argentinians but are often intimidated or impressed by them. I think this explains why Argentinians can be successful in Mexico in roles like waiter at a high-end restaurant or model. (The ones I saw working as clerks in a convenience store got their asses reported to immigration.)

3. Not everyone can easily get a travel visa to the US (you need to meet a certain profile). I can't see Argentinians being comfortable with crossing the border illegally on foot. And in the US, they'd have to struggle with the language gap and being just another undocumented (or visa overstay) latino immigrant. In Mexico, the path to citizenship is easier for them.

Its very interesting you say this. I met a family from Mexico who are argentinians. They lived in Mexico their whole lives, were born there, but their parents are from Argentina who immigrated to Mexico. They consider themselves Argenmexis.

They told me that when they say they are Argentinian in Mexico they get a "I dont give a fuck" kind of reaction or disinterest. But when they go to Argentina to see family they get positive reactions saying they're from Mexico. Like "wow you're from Mexico, what a beautiful country, I would like to visit someday."

Because there are so few Mexicans in Argentina they got more positive reactions than when they say they are Argentinian in Mexico.

Very interesting to say the least.

Is it because Mexican novelas and movies are popular in Argentina? Just wondering, which country in Latin America has the biggest influence on South and Central American popular culture- movies, TV shows, sports stars, celebrities, musicians, models? Is it Mexico?

I don't understand that diversity chart or argument Zel. In that chart you have amerindian, and detribalised amerindian, well those groups aren't very different from each other and they're not that different from mestizo. Also a lot of the Mexican whites will also have a some percentage of native america/mestizo blood they just have lighter skin.

From what I see here in a diverse part of Mexico to me it looks more like 90% brown, 9% white 1% other. It's a hell of a lot less diverse than living in England. It has a lot of problems but I didn't think diversity is one of them.

Exactly my thinking - Mexico is a country dominated by a white minority in a white minority ethnic makeup. That simply does not work and creates the place that it does.

Nigeria is also a lot less "diverse" than England - lack of diversity of a more k-selected people with a solid civilization-building culture/religion will create a more advanced society more easily - not exactly lack of diversity.

If things continue in that trajectory we will see the US becoming of a similar makeup and can observe it live in the next decades - this despite having a far stronger foundation.

RE: The Mexico Thread aka "Mexico Is Collapsing"
The diversity argument seems like solid one actually. There is a huge lack of community trust in pretty much all Latin America countries. People usually trust only family and close friends.

You can't build a society when you can't trust its institutions either. In most European countries, I would say generally people trust the police and the court system. If you get robbed in America, the police will chase this guy down and beat his ass for you. In Latin America, they'll probably ignore it or take a bribe from the robber. Big difference culturally.

I'm not familiar with the cultural differences between tribes in Mexico. But the Yucatan, which is one of the poorest regions in Mexico, is also one of the safest areas in Latin America (recently there has been a major uptick). So obviously they're differences.

The Aztecs are making a comeback!

Mexican Cartel Cuts Out Living Victim’s Heart near Acapulco

Quote:A group of cartel gunmen fighting for control of a Mexican coastal state cut out the heart of one of their living victims while another was beheaded. The violence took place not far from the beach resort cities of Acapulco and Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Guerrero.

The execution was recorded by cartel gunmen who then disseminated the footage through social media. Mexican intelligence sources revealed to Breitbart Texas that the murders took place at a ranch near the boundary between Michoacan and Guerrero states. The location of the murders is not far from the famed resort city of Acapulco. Law enforcement sources also revealed that the ranch once belonged to former Los Zetas ally and founder of La Familia Michoacana, Carlos Rosales Mendoza.

During the execution, a leading figure within Los Viagras Cartel threatened and tortured two villagers whose hands were tied behind their backs.

The victims were killed for allegedly relaying information to their rivals. One of the gunmen used a large stick to beat one of the villagers.

Another gunman then comes up from behind and uses a sharp knife to slash the man’s throat and then sever his head.

While the second victim screams for mercy, the gunmen use knives to slice open his chest to the point where they can see the man’s beating heart. One of the gunmen reached inside the victim’s chest cavity and manually removed the vital organ.

Soon after the executions, the gunmen issued a series of threats toward rivals claiming they would meet a similar fate.

The Mexican states of Guerrero and Michoacan are theaters for a fierce territorial war between the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) and their rivals with Los Viagras, La Nueva Familia Michoacana, and some factions of the Sinaloa Cartel.

Shit!!! That's nothing. There's a video where a cartel recently kidnapped a police officer and his son. The cartel made his son watch his dad get beheaded and next they proceeded to cut open the kid's intestines, lungs and heart.

Well - it's a good thing that the US has quasi an open border to Mexico.

My solution to all of this would be:

1. Legalize all drugs that are natural (you can buy it at the apothecary - some on recipe) - worldwide

2. Move in with the full force of international military and kill, maim and instantly execute everyone of those motherfuckers - find them according to their voices and other infos.

The truth is that drug dealers and criminals in most of the civilized world would not dare posting this online, because the cops would find them one way or another via voice-identification and other means.

But I guess not much has changed since the brutal times of the Aztecs.

I agree with all your points.

The reason why Mexican cartels specifically post these barbaric things online is because they know that law enforcement and local mayors in Mexico can't touch them. Local police are usually bought by the cartels and so are state police, etc, mayors, governors, everyone.... Those who dare and do something are met the fate of the policeman in that video (this is what will happen to you if you dare go against us).

Its pretty crazy stuff.

Here's a list of all the Mexican politicians who have been killed in the Mexican Drug War.

Graphic video:

The video you posted is the same as the story Belgrano posted. The father took it like a champ.

Either way, its still disgusting.

I'd advise people against polluting your mind with barbaric filth like that to begin with. We all know these cartels are all anti civilization savages we don't need videos to draw that conclusion.

I clicked on a link once of cartel dynamite executions and it didn't really change my worldview either way.

I think stuff like that just creates little PTSD impressions in your mind. It fucks with you just like too much porn consumption or whatever else which overstimulates adrenaline or dopamine.

RE: The Mexico Thread aka "Mexico Is Collapsing"
About a year ago I watched a video of some middle easterners who captured a young boy, looked about 10 or 12 years old, small in height, very thin. The boy had supposedly been fighting for the other side. In Syria, I believe. So they put him in the back of a truck, one guy films from outside the truck, looking into the truck bed, and the other guy positions the kid on his knees and stands behind him. Then he proceeds to cut the child's head off with a large knife while screaming "Allahu Akbar."

I'll never forget that video. I don't have the link to it, but even if I did, I wouldn't repost it...

I'm very appreciative of the peace and safety we have in most of the U.S.

Build the wall.

It later turned out that one of the guys on the truck was met with US representatives as part of the "good" anti-Assad coalition. There were even pictures with John McCain. Those psychopaths received massive military aid and please don't have the illusion that the US government did not know who they were giving it to.

I remember even journalists claiming that ISiS territories were safer than Assad's - when he won and Christmas was celebrated in Aleppo, they were all silent. Guess the brutal dictator won and the peaceful rebels were tragically defeated.

Camille Paglia said that most coddled Westerners as well as feminists have no idea about the inordinate safety they find themselves in. They don't realize that the wolves of barbarism are circling the more civilized countries. This civilization was built by men working ceaselessly to create and then maintain that order.

But I am sure that in the next decades the feminists will experience what happens when you let in too many rabid wolves into the sheep and there are too little sheepdogs around. Some countries like Sweden will experience incredible horror - maybe even part of the US. Western and North Asian civilization won't fall in entirety - we are too spread out and numerous for that, but some countries will see the horrors happen.

I agree - there are men out there who can walk through blood and bones and next week be a loving family men, but those men clearly cut themselves off - it's in a way a psychological trick of putting on a stone-cold persona and then later disengaging from it.

When I served in the military some men were doing that naturally, but most could not - that is where PTSD comes in.

I would agree that watching those videos is not good for your mental or physical health. I’ve felt my blood pressure rise when watching them and felt slightly agitated for a long time after. With that said, I’m glad they exist as proof of how some places really are. And most importantly, I HIGHLY recommend forwarding links of these videos to your more liberal family and friends.

The thing I always keep in mind is that this is what these people will do to their neighbors who share a common culture, language, etc. what would they do to you?

^ Nothing, if you keep your nose clean, figuratively and literally. To them its just business, a sick one to be sure, but business still. And those dudes were no father and son, they were members of a Los Mayitos associated group Los Viagras were settling accounts with.

I’d like to believe that but I’m having a hard time. When it’s just business, you shoot the motherfucker, and dump them in an unmarked grave in the jungle. When you take the time to subject the person to insufferable cruelty and pain, it’s not business, it’s personal. The claim is that they’re doing it to send a message. You only do that because you get off on it. If you want to send a message, send the message that Jose and Pedro aren’t coming home again. The only thing you gain by upping the violence is more violence. And contrary to what they think, too much violence is bad for business.
