His ENGLISH Wikipedia page describes him as a Mexican-born American journalist. (He was born in 1958 and become a US citizen at age 50, nine years ago.) He is listed as having only American citizenship.

His SPANISH Wikipedia page says he's a Mexican journalist and writer. It lists him as has having dual citizenship. (His Mexican citizenship is listed first.)

That pretty much sums up this muckraking fraud, doesn't it?

Looks like further research is needed. He can say a lot of things, but if it turns out he is not a U.S. citizen, I would enjoy immensely seeing him deported.

I am afraid that women appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty, more than anything else. They have wonderfully primitive instincts. We have emancipated them, but they remain slaves looking for their masters all the same. They love being dominated.

When China took in tons of foreign manufacturers. they built the biggest middle class in the world.

Mexico's middle class is nearly 50% of the population. China's is roughly 10%.

http://www.investopedia.com/articles/mar...-class.asp

China has the "biggest" middle class because they're the most populated country in the world and their "middle class" is defined as only about $10,000 to $30,000 a year.

Meanwhile over 300 million Chinese -- half of their entire working population -- make less than $10 per day.

"But the middle class that dominates its consumer market still only accounts for a tiny fraction of that number: less than 2 percent of workers earn enough to pay income tax, according to Goldman Sachs."

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/...-and-spend

To be clear, I'm NOT denying that Mexico is dysfunctional. But China is hardly a well-oiled machine itself.

It often happens that many countries don't accept a dual nationality.
For the DUal national citizen this translates as if these non dual nationality agreements are not bilateral (which they're often not) then what happens is that one nationality disregards the other and treats the citizen as a national.

Let's say Country X doesnt admit a dual nationality on a person that has X's and an american nationality.
The USA doesnt care about this and will continue to treat the person as an american citizen whereas country X will treat the person either as a national or a foreigner if this person has formally renounced X nationality in X jurisdiction (I think the USA is one of teh few countries that allow a person to renounce their nationality without a backup)

As far as the US is concerned, it's legal to hold both a Mexican and US passport (dual nationality). Source: US Embassy website in Mexico.

When you're in the US, for legal purposes you're treated as if you were a US citizen only.

Here he is, swimming across the Rio Grande. Caught in the act!

Here's what he told C-SPAN in 2010:

Quote:I did it [became an American citizen] last - I did it in 2008. For me it was very important to participate fully in this country. It's truly a wonderful country and my fight is that this country would treat other immigrants like me the same way they treated the millions of immigrants who came after me. It's truly amazing, who could have thought that when John F. Kennedy was writing his book "A Nation of Immigrants," it was 1958, I was born exactly that year and with those wonderful ideas and of course he was killed in '63, but in '65 with the immigration act of 1965 everything changed and because of that, because John F. Kennedy and because of "A Nation of Immigrants" I'm in this country, so I wanted to participate fully. I was very concerned about the war, I was concerned about my kids. Paola who's 23 right now and Nicolas who's 12, they were born here in this country and I wanted to - I wanted to be fully part of the United States. This has been a wonderful, generous, and magnificent country for me and I wanted to be part of it.

For the record, I don't doubt that he's a US citizen at this point. It would be foolish (and unnecessary) for him to lie about this when his profile is so high.

Indeed. My spelling was a bit off, but point duly noted.

[quote]Jorge Ramos: America Is ‘Our Country, Not Theirs’—‘And We Are Not Going to Leave’

I've been around the West/Southwest many years. This man's sentiment is nothing new, and it has substantial following. Anyone living in proximity to the borderlands is very aware of the race-baiter propensity to divide/subdivide by ethnicity, only to cry "racist," plea for inclusion, and play victim when they are called out on it.

Any keen observer knows Ramos' interpretation of "Our Country, not theirs" equals exclusion of everyone other than hispanic/latino in his own mind. His retroactive re-definition is feeble. The man is exposed. Bigot identified.

The good news is that I know many hispanic/latino Americans that do not abide by the bullshit that men like this espouse. I do business with them, socialize with them, and enjoy success with them.

Fuck this guy Ramos. Grateful for the good Friends/Amigos I have.
