Just curious what others use.

I use ReadEra on a Galaxy Tab S3. It makes efficient use of all available screen space and handles PDF, EPUB, WORD (DOC, DOCX, RTF), MOBI, FB2, DJVU, TXT and CHM formats.

I get a lot of older books in PDF from archive.org and other resources and ReadEra is by far the best reader I have used with them.

If you have existing Kindle books that you want to move to a non-kindle reader you can use a DRM removal tool like the one here. I really should do this to all my redpill books before Amazon nukes them.

Amazon does know a thing or two about bias, right?

You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.

I refuse to believe that a beta dwarf with an unbelievably ugly mistress secretly has orgies with anyone, let alone with trafficked models. There's no way that you can be having sex but still be writing those cringe worthy "love" messages.

I wouldn't worry too much about the ethics of getting a Kindle. If looked after properly, it should last you 10+ years, which isn't going to benefit them in any meaningful way since modern hyper-capitalism needs consumer electronics being replaced every few years. Their model is based on people then buying ebooks - but you can just torrent them or buy directly from the author (I.E Roosh). This isn't great for authors who don't already have a base, I know, so it's a bit of a catch 22.

My eyes are OK, so I much prefer going to a proper book shop like Waterstones here in England — I find them to be an oasis in a sea of urban consumerist-degeneracy, because although you're still consuming, it feels different with books for whatever reason, perhaps the fact they aren't as disposable or vapid as other things. But, that said - Amazon is so flipping convenient that I do, admittedly, still buy a fair share of books on impulse that way, when they're recommended by someone on a livestream or whatever.

The things you own end up owning you.
