Oilfield. My current hitch is 5 weeks straight...it gets lonely but I only plan to stay here for a year then study brogramming, accounting, or data analysis. Pumping liquid sandpaper with chemicals down "mother earth" and swinging a hammer is not a career nor can the body handle it forever.

Sadly, things are hot enough that we're beginning to hire women again and give them a try Sad. So we have to "tone down" our conversations and debauchery.

That's the biggest difference that I see between the two different jobs I'm currently working. One of them is with women, topics of conversation are limited to small talk, no mention of any sort of sex or you'll be bitched out. Then the other job is all men in an auto parts store, they'll talk about dicking down a hoe over the weekend or anything. One guy just outright said "you can't teach logic to a women" and it was only met with chuckles and nodding.

It's so interesting how the dynamic changes as soon as a women is introduced as I'm sure that the dynamic would do the same when an all women staff is joined by a man.

Current job now is a small, all-male office in finance.

Amazingly this is the first job I've worked in where everyone actually does work.

RE: Workplace observations thread
You whiny bitches are working in finance/IT offices and you are already complaining Laugh I work a 9-7 in an open-space office in the TV media industry. The very antithesis of masculinity. Sex and the city, LGBT reality shows and other debauchery are parts of my work. Go figure.

My unit has about 60 people. Aside from the IT department (which are all males, the last girl quits to go to Canada. Heh), everyone is either female or gays. Ok just finished counting, out of 43 people there are 15 straight guys, with 5 being upper management.

I think I’ve seen most of the bullshit by now. Manager boss crying, yelling, stomping. Upity “specialist” girl trying to lecture the cool manager guy and gets floored. Crying on the job. Manager girl use the workplace like it’s her Amazon deposit box. Flirting. Cursing. Older gals hating on younger gals. It’s basically high school, I don’t think that most people ever grow up.

Unlike most of you guys, I’m waiting to get citizenship so I can live and move about Europe (and Eastern Europe Wink ) freely, so for the next 2 years I gotta find a way to suck it up.

The most annoying thing is the number of hot ass jiggling around the workplace... Impossible to concentrate at all. Not like there's anything to concentrate on.

I actually find out that once you get a lay of the land, and manage to treat work exactly as if it’s a game, it’s not that bad.
Rule of thumb I learned from another RVF member, also a marine:

Admit nothing. Deny everything. Make counter-accusation.

1. There’s ALWAYS one girl in the office who believes she knows everything and can’t wait to show everyone, including the managers, how it’s done. You know that girl, I know that girl. Probably short-haired, horizontal striped sweaters, thick glasses, used to be nerds in college. Have a vast superiority complex mixed with a wine barrel of insecurity.

She LOVES sending you emails telling you to do this and that. Loves to be the one to proofread everything to make sure it is appropriate. Send out reminders every 15min. Loves gossiping about you and other girls.

Make her work for you. When you have the slightest doubt that can be solve 2s with Google, come ask her. Make it blatant that you think she knows everything. Give her all your half-assed work to proofread and correct. Ok, what about your reputation, you ask? Refer to the golden rule. If your work (that she checks) passes, nobody cares. If you fuck up, “but Stephanie validated this, and she is never wrong!” => deflection.

Throw her a bone every now and then. Nobody loves her so a simple “you know everything” or “your glasses look nice” can be pretty powerful.

2. Make your manager relies on you. Find a niche thing in your work that only you can do, or like to do. Start monopolizing it and make sure you are the only one who can do it. Make it look important.

3. Don’t give a shit about your work. Promotion is about visibility, not about performance. I’m not experienced enough to comment on this, but for a red pill man who play the game well office politics are manageable. And you can eventually get paid well to do nothing.

Interestingly when I was an intern my project manager was a total player. Slip off during lunch break to bang girls (clients) left and right, then he shows me pics and we talk and shoot the shit. Eventually he quits his jobs to go full player mode, but that goes to show you can make it work if you get the right mentality.

RE: Workplace observations thread
Sometimes I feel like I work in a room full of faggots; I took a rough inventory and maybe 1/5 in my department are actually gay. I could almost swear one of them is an actual pedo because he's such an absolute fucking creep, but with no evidence all I can do is threaten to castrate him if his hand strays too near my ass - he's always creeping on the straight guys, even in other departments, but no one says anything out of fear of being called a homophobe.

One of the girls is an actuall hooker. She used to be a cute young thing, then she moved into the city from the 'burbs, discovered SA and now can't stop riding the cock carousel for cash. Makes thousands a week, but spends that shit just as fast on handbags and bling, stupid animal. Says fucking for cash makes her feel strong... yea, anything is strong compared to a weak man, keep fucking those fat old cocks, sweetheart.

Another bitch is a single mom, seems to share custody with daddy, but always talks about going to dinner with some new guy she met. I feel sorry for the kids, but maybe that is their fate.

The rest of the people in my department all like to go out and get wasted or karaoke after work. Losers, the lot of them, always complaining about not having money, but if you tell them to stop partying they're like "Duh...?"

I'm only still around because my work schedule gives me enough free time for my side hustle, but definitely going to jump ship, most likely early next year. This place is an asylum.

wise points there I think. #1 is harder for people to get: being able to claim credit and deflect blame is a key skill if you want to rise in the corporate world.

If you're really not confident in some work: have one of them send the completed files over to the person it's supposed to get to. That way the most recent fingerprints on it are not yours. Do this more often with low visibility documents (like internal audit forms) where there's downside from screwing it up but no upside to getting it right

I think most guys get this on an intelectual level, but doing it itself is hard. How can you NOT feel cheap, dirty and dishonorable pulling tricks like this?

All is fair in love and war etc. But spending half of your time doing stuff that makes you hate yourself isn't easy for most guys.

I would suggest trying to really compartmentalize your work life from your identity or your personal life. You must learn to be the bitchy ass kisser at work and see yourself soar through the ranks, yet still be the masculine man as soon as you step out of the office.

RE: Workplace observations thread
Not quite an observation, but looking for some advice: I've been eating lunch mainly with the same two girls at the same time for a couple months. They're somewhat pleasant and cute, but really into SJW nonsense. Without going into it, today really annoyed me and I want to not eat lunch with them going forward. Obviously it will look a bit odd if I just stop showing up at the usual time. Maybe I should slowly show up later to lunch the next few days and disappear after that? I don't want to seem butthurt by the conversation so wondering what the best way to handle this is, especially if they directly ask me about it.

I'm a pretty introverted guy, but like to get some social fix throughout the day. Eating lunch is the easiest way to do so, but since my company has a lot of SJW's and beta males I don't really have anyone to sit with. Thinking about just bringing a Kindle and reading after most people have eaten lunch.

What do you guys do for lunch?

Caveat: I work in a fairly sizeable company.

I've found lunch is one of the greatest times to network with people from other departments to learn more about how things work, as well as chart out future pathways and opportunities within the firm. Simply figure out through org charts, email directories, etc. who critical people are, message them via internal messenger, phone or email, make a quick personal sales pitch that you are interested in what they do and have a few questions to chat about over lunch. I've found nobody ever says no (they gotta eat lunch anyways, right), they seem quite appreciative in fact many times, and many times refer you to more good people to have lunch with.

Bringing things back to your situation, maybe you could parlay this into slowly ghosting the two SJW girls. Say you were planning to chat with somebody (and perhaps set it at a time/place that's off their typical to make it a bit more awkward for them to try and intrude on), then slowly do this more often, and eventually ghost away.

Hit the gym... great way to break up the day and get a second wind for the afternoon.
Meal prep on Sundays so you have lunch pre-made; then eat at your desk while working after you exercise

RE: Workplace observations thread
Thanks for the responses. Had lunch with some random co-workers today. The girl I like and occasionally flirt with was in a meeting so came in a bit late and said "I'm gone for one day and you're sitting with other people" in a semi-joking way. I like this girl, but the other one is a miserable cunt who just brings down the mood. I feel bad for some of these SJW girls. They really are sad and broken people, and I don't think there is any fixing them. I plan on avoiding her, and maybe popping in once in a while to say hello.

I was walking toward the building when I saw a girl wearing a short dress. I talked to her and it turned out she was coming for a job interview. She basically looked like a cheap whore and in another time or place she'd likely be one. There is also a new middle aged woman working in the building. She is fat unkempt ill-dressed and loud. You can hear her talking to the phone and letting out loud laughters. IMAO she is more suited for running a brothel.

On the judgment day God is going to tell me "What did you do with your life son?" and I'd say I spent most of my awake time in a building full of fat women and ill-dressed drones. He's not going to like it.

RE: Workplace observations thread
Yesterday, it was another typical day of working my ass off and my female coworkers being useless gossipers. Heard some pretty disgusting things coming out of their mouths.

One of the female coworkers, who is a single mom, was talking about how she really wants to have sex with this married guy who has been sending her shirtless and dick pictures. She was talking about how she might somehow get him over to the house while her kids are away.

The ironic thing is that she is single because her husband cheated on her.

Another female coworker who was talking to single mom is engaged. She was talking about how she received a dick picture from a guy who she thinks is really hot. Her and dick pick man will be at the same event in a few weeks. Her fiancé will also be there. The engaged chick is going to find a way to sneak off with dick pick man while her fiancé remains completely oblivious.

Not going to lie, my soul died a little bit after hearing these conversations. I wasn't surprised, but it was disheartening to hear how dishonest, conniving, and trashy they are.

Reporter: What keeps you awake at night?
General James "Mad Dog" Mattis: Nothing, I keep other people awake at night.

The office lesbian who does not come across as being the stereotype by any means. Quite jovial & lively.
Has quite a pretty face, although a touch pear shaped in body.
Yet all the same, seems to take quite a liking to the more charismatic & handsome guys in the office.

If it were not for the fact that my job is far more important to me than any pussy on the planet.
I may otherwise be inclined to test the level of her lesbian convictions...

RE: Workplace observations thread
I just moved to a new office and got a new workstation. To avoid the lengthy backup/restore process, I took my hard drive with me and installed in the new workstation. But then my new computer couldn't connect to the corporate network, because the security systems didn't recognize the hard drive as being registered to the computer.

I called for a technician to come help me. Turned out to be a fat woman wearing a feminist shirt. She said she needed to re-register the hard drive to my computer and started the process. When this was done, I realized that the re-registration process had just re-imaged my hard drive. I told her that she had wiped all my data, to which she lackadaisically responded "no, I re-registered your hard drive so that you can log in", like she didn't realize that the two were not mutually exclusive.

At least I had backed up my data to the cloud as well.

I'm glad that I've been able to avoid workplaces with women in them. Granted that I am only doing part time work in trade while a attend school. Though I am looking forward to the better pay in a white collar environment, I am not looking forward to workplace politics and feminist minefields.

Godspeed to all those who are fighting that shit now.

RE: Workplace observations thread
Working in a mostly-male workspace is no picnic, either, when most of the males in question are gammas.

Get yourself put into a supervisory position, and you very quickly realize that the guys you've worked with for years with no problem are as bitchy and manipulative (and productive and motivated) as schoolgirls. It's like donning the "They Live" glasses and seeing clearly the snarky, know-it-all fauxmales all around you for the first time.

What was astonishing was that who I thought was the office alpha turned out that way. Have worked with the guy for almost ten years, and never realized how lazy and passive-aggressive he was until he was detailed to me.
