Are these places considered small towns? I'm guessing Birmingham, Manchester, Leicester and so on are what people call "2nd tier cities" .

I think you can forget Luton.

Any particular reason why?
Luton is short of hot girls

Many a hijabi and a "cousband" that will jihad your arse, if you spit game at her.

I'm in late 20s now - I went to a reputable UK university, but when I applied to Central London corporate careers, I had tons of job application rejections from MNCs (imagine getting rejected at the 4th interview stage and your time to prepare the interview was wasted?) followed by ugly office politics for my past 2 to 3 full time jobs.

Do you think being Asian made it more difficult to get a job? I'm Hapa and look young and only recently started to applying for jobs and getting quite a few rejections after the first / second interviews. One company even said they thought I was a bit timid, which is hilarious as I'm the complete opposite and probably the loudest there.

Regarding outer London: There is a big difference...but be prepared to work for it.

I would say it gets even harder if you go to a club (unless you fit the local brand).

Girls have very tight knit circles and are slut shamed if they even talk to a guy. You'll see girls dancing in a circle with guys trying their best trying to hit on them, getting completely blown out...There's even a compilation of it somewhere n Ladbible but I cant seem to find it.

You will also have decent competition as the guys are normally all jacked outside of London and not soyed up like they are in central London. This means you will 100% experience a fight by the end of the night as the girls become more scare.

However, the talent is normally very good. Downside is that there are no foreign girls so expect extreme attitude. Even if she likes you, you will get castrated a million times.

My personal opinion is that its not worth it unless you are prepared to go on a game rampage within the first hour of the night when the other guys are too scared and not drunk enough to hit on the girls.

Outside of London

Essex - Faces
Essex - Baz Vegas area lol
Essex - Sugahut
St Albans - theres one in the town and another student place called batchwoods.

Not really my scene

London

If you have the money (£1k min for a table)

Circq
Reign

These clubs have a strict no guy policy and have deliberately been flooded with vetted girls to satisfy paying tables (2 girls to 1 guy).

Quite oppositely, I think being East Asian actually gives you a slight edge in finding a job in the corporate world in Central London, whether it's for solicitor trainee, IT analyst, investment banker, management consultant, risk analyst, accountant etc... because I think East Asians have the reputation of working hard, and statistically British Chinese earn the most compared to others

The best thing to do is to apply for foreign MNCs because they tend to be quite ethnically diverse. Avoid domestic MNCs because from middle management onwards it's usually white British, but there are exceptions (from my previous work experience). I think it's more a cultural thing - like if you have been "whitewashed" (not in a negative way but lack of a better word lol) then it's easier

However, I think creative industries favor the blacks more than Indians and Chinese given the over-representation of blacks as lead actors in numerous UK TV shows.
