Watch The last American virgin while going through puberty many years ago one of the most brutally honesty I've have ever seen.. The ending was so heart wrenching it left a knot in my stomach.
I was so perplex by the ending that it took some years for me to connect the dots... Throughout the film she had an ingenue's golden glow, But yet she ripped the guy heart out and shitted on him..... I remember thinking something else is going happen before the credits start rolling.. (A suicide or she jumps in a car and go after him )

Requiem for a dream has a very dark shocking ending. It's red pill about drug use. It revolutionized how editing can be a powerful tool not only shaping and creating a film but also telling a story...

( Marlon Wayans was excellent )

Gran Torino: Clint eastwood's character teaches an Asian kid to stand up for himself, learn a trade, and ask a girl out. He shows that you can be alpha in your 70s.

I don't think it's been posted, but I got done watching Thief. It was directed by Michael Mann in 1981 and the soundtrack (which is fantastic) was done by Tangerine Dream.

James Caan plays a super stubborn thief who is trying to build a perfect life for himself. He's extremely alpha. Jim Belushi and Willie Nelson also co-star. If you haven't seen this movie, it's got a lot of similarities with other Michael Mann films like Heat and Collateral.

Anyway, it's a fun watch. Check it out.

You should never recommend that movie without posting a warning: it's going to leave you with a spiritual hangover that will last for about a week.

Requiem is one of the best movies I've ever seen, but it wasn't a pleasant experience. It's about people choosing to live in Hell, step by step you watch them descend into torment and misery, blithely ignoring the warning signs along the way until it's too late.

Drugs are only what it's about on the surface; ultimately it's about refusing to deal with reality, and drugs aren't the only thing you can use to escape.

Every 16 year old should watch this movie as a reminder that life isn't a game - it's deadly serious.

Don't watch it if you need to be cheerful and outgoing the following day.

Just watched Scent of a Woman...excellent. I rarely buy dvds, but I may be making a purchase. Al Pacino's character displays how being crazy and narcissistic man can be so attractive...also the tango scene with the young hottie is genius.

"Women! What can you say? Who made 'em? God must have been a fuckin' genius. The hair... They say the hair is everything, you know. Have you ever buried your nose in a mountain of curls... just wanted to go to sleep forever? Or lips... and when they touched, yours were like... that first swallow of wine... after you just crossed the desert. Tits. Hoo-ah! Big ones, little ones, nipples staring right out at ya, like secret searchlights. Mmm. Legs. I don't care if they're Greek columns... or secondhand Steinways. What's between 'em... passport to heaven. I need a drink. Yes, Mr Sims, there's only two syllables in this whole wide world worth hearing: pussy. Hah! Are you listenin' to me, son? I'm givin' ya pearls here."

"The day we stop lookin', Charlie, is the day we die."

"I'm from the government, and I'm here to help"

The worst thing about taxes isn’t the fact that you lose money, it’s the fact that your money is used to fund a welfare state of people who hate you.

RE: Red Pill Movies
I just watched Pumping Iron. This film is very demonstrative of how alpha Arnold is. It was clear in how confident he was and how he went with things without hesitation, just as other bodybuilders would tarry around him.
It was funny to hear Lou Ferigno's father tell Arnold how dangerous he was and that he would not turn his back to him within 500 yards. Just as shocking was his admission that he told his mother he was not coming to his father's funeral because of a competition. Cold, but worthy of respect. You set your sights on the target, and stay the course no matter what.
This also explained his later success in almost everything he touched.
Much recommended, just don't mistake the exercises they do for training advice. Theirs is very advanced, and more for tuning rather than initial bulking up stages that most of us need.

It has some solid lines which could also double as Red Pill truths:

"I feel like men are more romantic than women. When we get married, we marry, like, one girl, 'cause we're resistant the whole way until we meet one girl and we think, "I'd be an idiot if I didn't marry this girl. She's so great". But it seems like girls get to a place where they just kinda pick the best option... 'Oh he's got a good job.' I mean they spend their whole life looking for Prince Charming and then they marry the guy who's got a good job and is gonna stick around."

Derek Cianfrance is a pretty solid writer & a lot of his movies accurately represent modern relations between men & women - Whether he actively means this as a scare tactic or not, I'm not so sure.

Seconded on that one, I was very impressed with the Counselor, and posted a thread on it:

And, as I mentioned in the other thread, 8 1/2 - which is all about a man's inner life and life with women.

RE: Red Pill Movies
Hoffman (1970)
A movie almost forgotten starring Peter Sellers and Sinead Cusak. Watched this last night on YouTube and it's already on my Top Ten list. A shy executive (Sellers) blackmails a typist (Cusak) at his firm to spend the week with him at his flat. But instead of Sellers playing it like a sleazy Clare Quilty type, he emerges as a suave Lothario who wants Ms. Smith to fall for him on her own. Swear to Gawd, this movie has more red pill wisdom than anything Hollywood has created:
"Please make yourself look as if you want to be fertilized."
"Reality betrays us, Ms Smith!"
"Women are always hungry for something. Fallopian tubes with teeth."
One of the few times I've decided to read the book based on the movie version.

"We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately."

Its pretty well established that mainstream media is filled with these beta praising "good guys finish first" kinda movies, so I figured getting a good list of movies that show the opposite would be beneficial.

Also, movies that feature already Alpha main characters (James Bond is the best example) aren't what I'm talking about. I'm talking movies that clearly show the main character starting out weak and becoming stronger and getting what he wants because of it.

Green Street Hooligans

Such a damn good movie. I couldn't stand Elijah Wood in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He was a weak and sniveling bitch for 99%. GSH was a redeeming movie for him in my eyes.

RE: Red Pill Movies
No one mentioned Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine yet? It's so incredibly red pill that it trumps even the famous Vicky Cristina Barcelona. It features an arrogant and unstable high-class woman who suffers a catastrophe in her personal life and ends up destroying herself.

All the other characters are worthy of gold prizes just on their own, let alone in the way they interact with each other:

- a wealthy psychopath alpha who maintains a large harem through his whole life
- a natural "thug" alpha who falls apart when a woman cheats on him
- a typical beta trying to pull off asshole game but failing horribly
- a simping, needy beta who embarrasses himself at every turn
- an aggressive higher beta who plays the field with low hanging fruit
- a good-hearted lesser alpha with money, status and game who nearly gets played
- a frumpy, hypergamous single mother who falls for another woman's advice and ruins herself (twice)

Other than maybe this lesser alpha guy, the movie doesn't have a single likable character (which is intentional). It's all a non-stop spree of sexual market misery and destruction. Many of the characters start out as good intention-ed and at least sympathetic, but they lack any sensible guidance and have no chance of surviving today's savage sexual market. 60 years ago, they would have all been leading reasonably happy family lives. Today, they just end up digging themselves in deeper and deeper. Incredible display of both male and female hamster. Many basic game lessons and techniques too.

I was alternating between cringing and roaring with laughter the whole time. It's a painful but hilarious movie. A true masterpiece and an utterly merciless criticism of our times.

This movie still resonates with me on so many levels. Aside from a timely re-evaluation of, shall we say, my philosophy of recreational drug use, it heightened my appreciation of the people I truly love in my life.

On an lighter note, "Spike of Bensonhurst", a forgotten gem. I don't know how big it was in the States, but here in Australia I think it went straight to video and I only chanced upon it on late night TV years ago. Late 80s movie about a cocky, a street wise Italian kid who wants to be a boxer and hooks up with the local mafia boss's daughter. For people who grew up during that era it's well worth watching just for the music, the fashion and the attitude. As a Greek kid growing up in a predominantly Greek/ Italian neighborhood, it all came flooding back to me. Also, for Sopranos aficionados, it's amazing to see just how much of a debt that series owes to this movie. All in all. two thumbs up!

Anybody watched the Harlequin-like movie "Two Moon Junction"?

It unintentionally shows how a female fantasy centers around many red pill truths. The alpha character also runs some pretty tight game.

It's got some fantastic young Sherilynn Fenn boobs too (who after I googled her, appeared to be another of Johnny Depp's many exes -- that guy's my hero).

Has anyone seen the Mexican flick Amores Perros? I wouldn't call it redpill on the whole per se, but there are certain elements within each one of the "stories" (the movie is divided into 3 separate storylines) which are definitely redpill.
