Most of the homeless people in paris are white or arab. African migrants are usually in assisted housing in Paris.

Your chances of getting mugged in Latin america is about 100 times higher then near the Sacre Coeur. Clearly youve never been to the sacre Coeur anytime recently. Other then Louvre and the Eiffel tower its probably the most touristy place in the whole city.

I think its ok to go to Sacre Coeur during the day for sure. But me personally I wouldn't want to be there at night. I can imagine it gets much more seedier at night especially with Moulin Rouge nearby xD. I also saw some broken windows at shops in the area and a fast-food chain with broken windows as well.

I was just listening to the french news, this actually happened in a suburb which is very far from Paris. It is in Seine et Marne, which is around 60 km from Paris.

The police is for the moment saying that it is not a terror attack but some kind of depressed guy who tried to suicide last week but failed, he is at the police office at the moment...

Paris isn't Bagdad guys, plenty of tourists are still coming.

Some of you mentioned Saint Denis, why on earth would you go there??? It is a shitty neighborhood full of illegal migrants. Don't book a hotel there even if it's cheap.

If you visit Paris do yourself a favor and stay in a nice hotel in a nice neighborhood, I also wouldn't recommend to stay near Pigalle or in the North in general, there are plenty of bars but it gets dodgy late at night. Also never go in the strip clubs which are around Pigalle, You will be ripped off and might be beaten if you refuse to pay the bill of x hundreds euros that they will try to charge you.

Left Bank all the way. The nightlife on the side streets around Saint-Germain was reliably full of good-looking girls and I had a few spontaneously chat me up in bars, just starry-eyed to be in Paris.

Had one bomb scare, but it was a non-issue out of an abundance of caution, some genius left a baby stroller unattended. Everyone was calmly asked to leave, did so, and that was that.

I spent a lot of time in Paris because of my job and I never want to go back. Never got mugged or anything like that but in my book the city ranks near the bottom of European capitals. It's the dirtiest city I've been to with rats as big as dogs roaming the streets at night (next to the Eiffel tower mind you), hordes of Africans, Arabs and tourists, shit nightlife spread all over the city (no real center), overpriced, cold. I have no idea where you guys come up with this bullshit about French girls having a sense of style, they really love their jeans and track pants. In fact, the French guys dress much better then the girls. My work colleague, a beautiful tall blonde with green eyes was scared to go out alone because she was constantly harassed by shady guys asking her where she's from, does she speak French etc.

If you're into history and architecture Paris can be a good destination for about a week. Personally I find the Eiffel Tower hideous but there are many other places to visit. Versailles shouldn't be missed. Tier 2 cities like Lyon or Bordeaux are much better.

Security wise you're not running any bigger risk in Paris than in any major US city. Don't take travel advice from people braking out in cold sweat at the thought of crossing a state line.

With that said, why would you want to go to Paris? As a cultural destination the city is superb but that's about it. Lyon is better for food, the Med coast better for banging/partying and business can be more readily in the cities closer to Benelux/German border. French people are generally a good bunch, but Parisians not so much. You're better off visiting just about any other part of France if you want a genuine experience.

I'm glad that I went to Paris in 2014 before all those shit that is happening. The city was amazing. Very beautiful.

Unfortunately the bars that I went were very empty. I dunno why. So I won't recommend anything for game. Tinder worked like a charm but that was ages ago.

I'd not come back those days for security reason.

Ive never been to france BUT if you're into food...

LYON is your city...Its only spot on my list as my high end interest in south of france has dwindled over the years.

I'd rather spend time exploring mount blanc solo for outdoors activities than social adventures within france. Paris never really appealed to me other than the 1 off fine dining experience. (In past I did want to experience matignon nightclub as it seemed to have the club vibe I'm used to in NY and LOTS OF GIRLS who fit my type)

If you go to Paris , hit on Corcoran's Irish pub in bastille , its a bar with a decent dancefloor

many stluts , tourists ... people come in and go out even until 3 pm ( it closes 4 or 5 pm i think)

if the bouncer dont know you or you dont have girls , come early , like 10 or before .

In paris , if a place let you enter without girls , except it to be hard , personnaly , i found this place Corcoans bastille as an easy place.
