Newsweek: Male Infertility Crisis
Newsweek Wrote:Startling new evidence suggests male infertility may be much worse than it appears. According to Levine and Swan’s work, sperm levels—the most important measurement of male fertility—are declining throughout much of the world, including the U.S. The report, published in late July, reviewed thousands of studies and concluded that sperm concentration had fallen by 52 percent among men in Western countries between 1973 and 2011. Four decades ago, the average Western man had a sperm concentration of 99 million per milliliter. By 2011, that had fallen to 47.1 million. The plummet is alarming because sperm concentrations below 40 million per milliliter are considered below normal and can impair fertility. (The researchers found no significant declines for non-Western men, in part because of a lack of quality data, though other studies have found major drops in countries like China and Japan.) And the decline has grown steeper in recent years, which means that the crisis is deepening. “This is pretty scary,” says Swan, who has long studied reproductive health. “I think we should be very concerned about this trend.”

Stress and bad diet.

"The chemical makeup of the vagina is actively hostile to sperm, which can only survive because semen contains alkaline substances that offset the acidic environment." via the article.

Keyword here is alkaline.

Yet, many of us here at RVF still believe in the Western diet consisting of starches and blood. I see it all the time, especially postings about man-made fruits and vegetables that are often deemed nutritious.

There are a few herbs you can take that build up the reproductive organs in under ~3 months. The upkeep and effectiveness of that depends on the foods you eat, ultimately. You have to guide the herbs and food to work together.

Even something as simple as water, I read about the unnecessary thousands $$$ spent on water filter systems installed at home. I would suggest slicing 1/2 of a key-lime (with seeds) per gallon of spring water. You now have alkaline water. Check the PH levels if you don't believe me.

So I suppose it turns out that I'm not the hero the people want.

I'm the hero the people need.

I'm going to need a truck full of Gatorade, another truck full of coconut oil and a turkey baster (the 5s and below must sadly be limited to run-off).

Funfact. Googling "turkey baster" to check the spelling immediately informs you that...

Quote:The Turkey Baster Method is the most common way of artificial insemination to get pregnant and have an artificial insemination at home. More often than not you do NOT actually use a turkey baster but a disposable syringe.

I wonder if anyone actually uses a turkey baster for perhaps, oh I don't know... aiding in the roasting of a turkey?

I have doubts on this. Seems another study to back up the need to import third world fertile migrants.

"Male biological clock"

I stopped reading. My father got me at the age of 50. Biological clock my ass. This is female rationalization to justify and level the emptiness of the average strong and independent cunt whose biological clock has passed.

Remember, folks: the media is catered towards women. They tell them what they want to hear.

I can't believe they actually found space to put an article in Newsweek in-between all the Cialis and Crestor ads.

There is a female biological clock, and you just supported that. What we're saying is that there is no male biological clock, like the above poster.
