Day game at fabric stores, yoga studios, and other hot spots
I tried searching the archives for a post regarding this subject, but didn't find much--if there is a thread hiding somewhere where this is discussed, please direct me. I don't want to duplicate an old discussion.

There are certain establishments I've noticed women frequent and congregate in asymmetrically high numbers -- in particular sewing/fabric stores (Joann, etc), women's clothing departments, make-up stores, juice bars/whole foods and yoga studios. Of these, the sewing/fabric stores stand out for their almost complete absence of male presence.

I know very little to nothing about the sartorial arts, and beyond the situational opener that happens to catch, or the "I am a new born babe in the woods" sort of frame (ie. openers like 'I am new to sewing/stitching, could you explain this.. etc') I don't have a reasonable context for approach.

Yoga studios are also tricky. I am in very good shape (muscular, low body fat) but my yoga skills are terrible. My gym openings are pretty strong and usually have to do with how the girl is doing a lift or workout that puts the men in the studio to shame. My thoughts are to try something similar with yoga, but beyond that I don't have many ideas.

Juice bars and healthy food stores have more opportunity for situational openers because of their variety of content, but often I've found myself having to go direct in these places.

In the women's section of clothing and make-up stores I've had luck with Roosh's 'I'm trying to get something for my sister and you and her seem to have the same body type/personal style. What would you recommend?' And segway from there into fashion or work.

So this is where I am at these days. Obviously going direct is always an option no matter where you are, and I have gotten used to this in most scenarios, but common situational openers that allow for a more spontaneous feel would be helpful. I would appreciate the insights of the worldly-wise members here as to their past experiences.

Check out this thread.

https://www.rooshvforum.com/thread-65093.html

For fabric stores, buying a replacement button for your suit jacket or a replacement zipper for your back pack is a good excuse.

Makeup, well I dated a girl who ran a make up boutique and she said half her customers were men. Of course, it was a high end place that claimed to sell products, not make up. So maybe ask about moisturizers "because you eat a low fat diet" and heard it was more important for people like you to moisturize.

Fabric stores and clothing stores: Is this something you can sustain long term? I assure you you'll get bored/jaded of it sooner rather than later regardless of how many girls frequent these places.

Yoga studios: Great as long as you don't pick a spot where you're cornering a girl or eye fucking her ass everytime she bends over or where she feels you're too close to her. Something better is approaching her after class as everyone is packing up, as natural as possible (open her as you're walking out at the same time or open her as you're putting your matt away near hers.

Gym: if you're near her at the open bench area ask if you're blocking her way if you're both looking at a mirror (you're obviously not) and she'll say no. Or if your muscular arm is getting in the way of her tender one when you perform dat curl. Boom, opened, talk about whatever you want after that or ask her if it's 'always this crowded' etc.etcet.c there's so much you can do in a gym

Juice bars: Why direct? Before waiting, ask if she's in line. Her answer doesn't matter. After that you're both waiting for your juice. Go over to her continue chatting to her (make it natural) about how hard it is to tell who's in line etc.etc. or if she's tried xyz juice.

Re: fabric stores; you are looking for some yarn and some interesting materials for your grandmother who knits scarves for impoverished children.

Mine does this and it's a winner. I don't go to the shops though, god forbid she lets me find this shit for her.

I go to yoga and basically, just ignore all girls during class for the first 3-4 months. Chat with them post-class. A lot of thirsty guys are trying it out and being obvious; girls are on to this.

After 3-4 months you will establish a good position for the regulars and the newbies will look up to you when the rest are familiar with you.

Girls love it.

Do yoga for your body, it's amazing. The girls will follow.

There is a craft store (Michael's) near my dry cleaner. I try to pop in there every week when I pick up my dry cleaning. They sell photo frames, albums for photos, paint and art supplies, etc. They also host painting and craft classes. So yes, you can add this to your routine. I haven't pulled yet because I keep forgetting to go there but if you are already at a shopping plaza running other errands its worth popping in to see whats on the menu

I was just at Michael's picking up some Halloween supplies. Several cute girls in there, which is a surprise because I live in the city with some of the ugliest women in the United States.

You are over thinking this.

The whole world is one big "fabric store".

You see a girl and you TALK TO HER OR you see a girl and you DON'T talk to her.

It's Binary to me.

With the energy is took to compose that post, you could have talked to 3 girls and you would have learned 10000% more valuable information.

Action beats theory. Action learns much faster.

just saying

--

you're worried about what to say... In time you will realize that it doesn't matter so much what you say but rather the power of your overall presentation.. Of course the first few minutes of conversation are crucial and especially the first 10 seconds but you shouldn't worry about scripting it. CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO GET OUT OF YOUR CONVERSATIONAL COMFORT ZONE RELIGIOUSLY AND I SWEAR THE GAME GODS WILL JUST PUT THE RIGHT WORDS INTO YOUR MOUTH!!

talking to girls with ever increasing intent is always the answer

Says the guy who hangs out on college campuses, lol.

Giovonny, you have dropped more wisdom on this forum than anyone probably, but for a lot of guys they need to put themselves in the way of women to even have the binary opportunity you talk about.

So going to places you don't normally go, like a fabric store, Target, a tapas bar instead of a sports bar, the grocery store across town next to the college campus rather than the once close to your house, Panera instead of Hooters, etc. is the first step.

RE: Day game at fabric stores, yoga studios, and other hot spots
Hypno had a great observation about the painting and craft classes - home improvement stores like Home Depot/Lowes/Menards also host weekly classes. The key is to attendregularly so ypu are on a first name basis with the instructor, and can exchange banter in a way a first time student wouldn't be able to.

Also, Hypno's suggestion about Panera Bread was similarly gold - one day I needed to wash ny hsnds and entered right as they were opening up (10AM). Quite ALOT of women are SAHMs/trust fund teens, and dont work a normal dayjob, so by you being present they assume you either run your own business or work an exciting 2 d shift job. As always, the key is to become friendly with not only staff, but regulars aswell (these will br your allies). This type of game isnt some random "blitz" thing where you put in 1-2 hours a week - you need to allocste 10-15 hrs ideally to pull it off. Best to bring in something you can use as a story-telling prop (like a tablet).

Yoga is like shooting fish in a barrel so long as you can hold the poses better than most students in the class. Always get there early, so you can position yourself close to the instructor, in front of evrrybody else. Your typical stupid guy will take a spot in the back, not realizing this automatically makes him look like a voyeur, and limits opportunities since all the women ahead of him cant see him. When you position yourself in the front row, women in the back rows who've been getting exposure to you all class long and have built up curiosity, are more likely to approach you.

The instructor probably leads 4-5 classes a day, you want to buy an "unlimited" monthly pass and attend 2 classes a day. Obviously, this helps you progress faster in mastering the actual poses. And you build a stronger rapport with the instructor, and it will pay off when the girls see you associating together. At one point, i was considering becoming an instructor ane doing the 1k hour training, just to realize you can get the same benefits by simply leveraging your relationship with the instructor.

At department stores, you dont game the customers you game an employee. Find a girl organizing racks and Tell em your getting some pictures taken, and need help putting together a memorable outfit. Spend 30-45 mins picking out/declining stuff. Show her pics on your phone of you wearing stuff from other trendy stores like H&M, Urban Outfitters etc. When you get close to checking out, thats wje you ask personal questions, ask if she gets a commission for helping, and other intricacies of her job. Remember
these girls dread their jobs like anyone else, so when shes done helping you and see that nearly anhour has passed by and its closer to her scheduled break time, she'll have a warm feeling towards you and that partocular day will probably be the highlight of her week! Her day is usually consists of mundane rote tasks, so engaging her creative/problem solving skills is a change of pace.

Right before you go pay for the items, you go into more detail about the pics your getting taken, snd mention you'll probably post them to Inetagram/FB/Tumblr. This is the prrfectmoment to exchange information and is alot less awkward than asking for her phone number. Plus she has a vested interest in this, in the sense she can show her co-workers your pics of you wearing the outfit she helped assemble and brag about her "stylist" skills.

I think retail workers in dept stores are the easiest to bang as a customer, with the least time investment.

RE: Day game at fabric stores, yoga studios, and other hot spots
Personally I hate yoga classes. Tried twice, in different places to loosen up muscles, but had to find something else instead. Maybe it's partially because I'm not yet in top shape visually (but neither a slob, long time MA, lifting for half of a year) but I felt really bad there. If you are lone man among women, you may feel like a:

a) rooster in henhouse
b) creep sneaking into ladies' changing room

And in yoga classes I definitely was feeling like a creep. I suppose being in top shape and having great yoga skills could change that. And guys there have an ultimate beta vibe to them. Entering a changing room for yoga and for martial arts is like day and night.

On the other hand there are classes, where you can both meet many girls and learn something useful: language classes. If you enroll for a french course, you possibly will be only man in there. Spanish should be similiar (maybe not in US). In my experience, this was much better choice, vibe was definitely closer to a).
