How would you respond if it were your son making fun of the know-it-all? Even if they're right, they're still wrong. This is contemptible, unmanly behaviour. I'd be disappointed if my daughter acted like a Mean Girl, if my son were behaving thus I'd be disappointed and ashamed.

Sorry, I just can't get worked up about how this one is destroying honor and Western culture.

Perhaps.

However, Credentialism is the purest form of effeminate behavior. VD engages in it without shame.

If your son is acting like a fag, would you put a stop to it? How would you go about putting a stop to it?

Ridicule works.

The Revenge of the Cis videos aren't particularly entertaining because they interrupt so much you can't follow the person they're making fun of. And since they interrupt so often it's like MST3K where they're just reaching to find something to say instead of coming up with something clever, and it's about as intelligent as Pee Wee Herman saying "I know you are but what am I?" repeatedly.

RE: The Vox Day thread
I think Vox is pretty bright, but I'm not sure if he's genius-level brilliant. He does seem a bit touchy, and comes across as a bit of a dork, but:

1- his analyses are pretty spot on, consistently so from what I've seen
2- his moral compass is pretty solid (unlike say, that dubious dork Styx),
3- he's done a lot of concrete work in building a solid community, leads a good life, is married, in shape etc.

Ironically, those "Revenge of the Cis" homos are indeed typical of the basement bozo gamma archetype that Vox mentioned, maybe that's why they took it so personal. The stubby bearded blubber and his bathhouse buddy who tweezes his eyebrows bring nothing to the table, they're all about one-note low-energy hipster snark stalking of more famous and more virtuous pundits.

As if this weren't bad enough, they're also full of shit, churning out deceptive hit jobs like this one, where they claim that Benjamin is a dog beater:

Owen Benjamin haters have spread that slander against him, accusing him of being a dog beater when in fact he went out of his way to rehabilitate his abused rescue dog George. When his wife suggested they turn George in after his being mostly out of control and killing one of their rabbits, Owen gave her a talking to, saying that George was now part of their family and they couldn't abandon him. A couple of months later, George is thriving, taking care of their goats and animal menagerie, and no longer running away.

This is kind of a small episode that reveals the nature of haters. The blubber-tweezer pair could have easily found this out, since Benjamin is one of the characters they are completely obsessed with, but of course they don't have the decency to do retract their weak hatchet job about him being a dog beater...

Makes you wonder if their work is organic, or if they have ulterior motives in going out of their way in their feeble attempts to destroy their targets' reputation. Either way, as Aurini said, despicable gamma behavior.

Owen has also admitted that he knees George in the face and jabs his fingers into the dog's side when it tries to rush past him out the door.

Owen is right when he's talking about the left's attack on Western values, men and masculinity, and the transgender issues. But overall, listening to his streams and hearing him react to anything that isn't complete praise makes me confident in saying that he just isn't a good person in general. Thinking hormone therapy on a 3 year old is wrong doesn't automatically make someone an admirable individual. He looks like a guy who constantly screams at his kid and will make his 5 year old wake up at 6 am to dig post holes to "build character."

He does melt down, but it's always covered by a veneer of disdainful rationality. If someone gets under his skin he'll post every negative thing he can find about the person for the next couple decades. Sort of like how he keeps repeating that he doesn't care about Jordan Peterson, but then writes a book about Jordan Peterson and mentions him over and over again in his blog.

I wish Vox could laugh at himself more - the Spaghetti one is funny.

Yeah, he's weird, different, but so is everyone else around these parts.

The more I see from the people that make it to this forum and non-members coming to similar consciousness about the ways of the world -

Strange times create strange people.

I've learned a lot of things in life I never would have learned otherwise from complete strangers.

A quote about Aurini, "I didn’t follow him outright because he was a religious personality. I followed him because he was a friendly guy reaching out there to make friends and talk about the world’s problems."

Not sure if that's Vox's goal, but that line speaks to me. God bless the RVF forum. I'm seeing some nasty stuff being said about and between members. I'll be praying for them.

Vox wrote fantastic books and his analysis is usually spot on.
But his constant projection of his own gamma traits to others is tiring and makes the streams less watchable.

Let's imagine that Vox lived to the right of you and these ROT Cis fags lived to the left.

If Antifa were doing hit jobs on local conservatives and both of your neighbours saw you doing dry-fire drills in the back yard, which ones would piss their panties and call the police?

Fuck the gamma lulzfags. They'll be laughing it up right until their hands are tied behind their back and a muzzle is pressed to the base of their skull at which point they'll be crying for the intervention of better men than themselves.

I hate saying it but Bosch was right again about the god of idiot laughter. These cowards punch in the direction they know won't cost them so much as a buck or a black eye. Human trash.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

I've debated posting about this, but I figure it's worth pointing out - the bolded isn't really accurate.

Things VD has been dead wrong about:
* Peterson's IQ
* Republicans holding the House in 2018 - how much he kept shitting on people who were concerned about R losing
* The result of the 2008 economic crisis. Like most libertarians, he expected the Return of the Great Depression. In reality, we had a stock market that's been booming since 2009.

And then this recent post on his blog really takes the cake:

http://voxday.blogspot.com/2019/05/no-on...thing.html

Quote:As it happens, I've occasionally taken part in the project as one of the forecasters, although I haven't even logged in to the system for years. The one time I was moderately active, my team was in second place, although that was largely thanks to one guy who was easily the best in our group. If I recall correctly, I was better than the average forecaster, but not in the top ten percent. I still get emails from time to time asking me about the prospects for a Russian attack on Estonia before September and so forth, but I lost interest in it pretty quickly.

Anyhow, the article is right. Everyone is wrong about the future and most people are actually much more reliable as negative predictors, which I interpret as meaning that events proceed in a non-linear manner that is contrary to normal human expectations. That's my best guess as to why the future is so hard for everyone to predict, or even anticipate.

Also Vox Day:

* The alt-right is inevitable
* The US will break apart before 2032
* Trumpslide 2020

At some point you start realizing what a big baller troll Vox Day really is.

Quote:Let's imagine that Vox lived to the right of you and these ROT Cis fags lived to the left.

Leonard, I'm not entirely sure what your point here was. But another perspective:

If someone like Dalrock lived to the right of me, I would have no problem. Dalrock is very clearly an honorable man, and someone that everyone here would feel privileged to have as a neighbor.

Vox Day? I actually might help out Antifa because the alternative is listening to Vox Day incessantly talk about how he's such a genius, how MPAI, how everything he says is correct and if you disagree, well you must just not have the same IQ. Bla bla bla. And heaven forbid you actually point out how he can't do math.

VD's main problem is that his arrogance is insufferable. At least if he was right most of the time, you could give it a pass.

As for VD at least trying or doing something...I'm 50-50 on this.

Sure, it's better to have tried than to have done nothing.

But nothing he's done so far (Infogalactic, his comic books, his publishing house) has had a real impact on the culture.

His real claims to fame seem to come from attacking other people (that weird SciFi awards thing, attacking JBP, etc).

Dude is so absolutely petty, he actively worked towards sabotaging Gab.ai - because 2 randos online called him a pedo.

And that's always been his fatal flaw: he goes super deep on what he thinks is right and never checks in with what the Tribe wants

Carl Jung was dead on with his personality typing and 8 functions. In a relevant nutshell:

VD is Ti first - Ti means "what works for me" - it's all about that logic and what makes sense to you. Identity.

People who are Ti first have Fe last. Fe is "what does the community value". Tribe

I need to make a post about personality typing, because it's actually extremely crucial.

But VD - he's 50 years old and keeps blowing up like this.

He keeps going super hard on Identity and then blowing up on the Tribe thing.

Once you see the pattern, it's almost sad to observe.

He'll do something he thinks is right (Identity). Never checks in with what the community (Tribe) wants. Never compromises or adjusts his messaging to the Tribe. Tribe finds someone they do like (Peterson, Rogan, take your pick). Day goes full gamma envy on the Tribe favorite.

If he doesn't fix it, he'll keep having this problem of "I have this solution" vis-a-vis "Fuck the tribe", and then having zero real effect.

Case in point: before doing Infogalactic, he might've checked in with the Tribe to see if anyone actually gave a fuck about a Wikipedia replacement.

Had he done so, maybe he would've realized people nowadays check social media far more than Wikipedia for information. JBP actually gets this better than VD - Peterson was on Quora and Youtube, both of which although not perfect, are much better ways to spread your message than building an alternative to Wiki.

I honestly believe he got lucky as hell that SJWs Always Lie ended up aligning with what the Tribe was looking for. Otherwise Castalia House would have been a complete dud.

Even his blog....voxday.blogspot.com. He would get far more traffic and be able to have a larger impact if he just got his own domain, got a WordPress site and added a functional searchbar and menu.

The day he figures this shit out is the day he becomes unstoppable.

I truly believe this.

I believe Vox Day has it in himself to become a mammoth of cultural change.

That's the day he actually becomes useful and not just a petty adult with a blog on an outdated blogging site.

But until that day, my prediction is that he'll blow up every 2-3 years, consistently alienating people.

Funny he should mention that 2032 date.

Very, very original thought he had there by picking out that exact date:

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/inter...e-country/

Quote:This is simply a political standoff demonstrating that Congress has lost all civility and is incapable of managing the country going forward. There is no reversal in sight and we simply cascade in this death spiral into 2032. Perhaps now we can see that indeed the United States will cease to exist as we know it after 2032. The USA will be prone to separatist movements as well after 2024. That appears to be the target for absolute political disintegration.
