My job requires me to be cognizant of what I'm doing at all times. Energy drinks have become a big part of my life. Sure, people will argue that if you workout, eat right, and get your Z's you should sleep like a baby. Not me. It's rare I get to bed before 2AM. There are quite a few good options without unnecessary sugar like Rockstar Punched and Red Bull Zero. Today I found a new one that I'm loving. Usually I stay away from the Monster brand, but a friend brought this in to work for me today and I loved it. It's the new Monster Zero Ultra. The can actually feels like it's been engraved. No joke. I almost felt guilty opening it. The taste is light citrus, not too sweet, but just sweet enough. It's lightly carbonated. Also, no sugar at all. It's a must try for you energy drink fans out there.

Just tried that recently and it is awesome. Better than the original Monster Zero. Use to drink that stuff like it was water, but I have limited it down to once a week a best. Made a small impact on my wallet too.

Dude it's like a $6 per day habit for me right now and I'm feeling it. That's roughly $42 per week on energy drinks. Crazy.

I think I had one week similar to that once. Was cheaper to fill my car up that week. At that point you can't even make fun of how much money people who you know that smoke spend.

Amp and Rock Star fruit punch, taste so good I want to drink them without considering the effects

How they might effect studying? For me after I drink a full can there is a period where I can't sit still, then after awhile I get into a nice, concentrated zone.. overall I probably wouldn't drink for that purpose

I actually saw this post, looked into bee pollen a couple days and decided to try it -- I've found it's a much different feeling of "energy" but in a weird way because it's not edgy, it feels a lot nicer and more "normal." I've had yet to use it in an extreme case of exhaustion, but so far as a pick-me-up it's felt great.

Good looking sir.

RE: Energy drinks
Energy drinks and sodas don't do it for me. I try to avoid all these drinks that are loaded with sugars including HFCS and sucralose, in fact I feel as though they really slow me down.

There are a few drinks that I make daily that I'd say give me energy.

In the morning, one cup of black coffee with 2 tbsp of Kerrygold unsalted butter & 1 tsp coconut oil. Wakes me up pretty well.

Then throughout the morning I have a couple mini-AVC drinks - 2 tbsp Braggs in 5 oz of water.

One drink may be a concoction of Braggs (maybe 1-2oz) in water with OJ or pomegranate juice, and a scoop of that Garden of Life RAW Organic energy. I use more water and less juice each day as I'm trying to eliminate ingesting unnecessary sugar.

My pick me up at work when I get tired is simply an espresso. Again, nothing added for sweetener.

That's about all of them. I don't really take them to pick me up, I take them for just an increased capacity for higher energy throughout the day.
