Bad idea. Naturals aren't good teachers.

What I mean is, learn through observation, not from their mouths directly

Gotcha. I agree with that.

Even if you have a natural friend to go out with and observe, I still think it's best combined with a program/teacher/coach, though. I compare it to learning a language through total immersion vs. using immersion as well as classes/grammar. Guys will learn faster with the latter.

Just get one product and adsorb it to death...
Pimp by RSD Julian is gold for night game.
The program by rsd Jeffrey for online game .

I think there is some truth to this, but it's not a good base. I think to get advanced, you need to become more of a natural in your game and watch how they do it, but the initial steps won't be possible this way.

For me, I think Models by Mark Manson is more applicable than ever. Not to be a mark, but Roosh's new book is about as accurate as it gets. I honestly was expecting not to agree with a lot of it, but it's pretty much spot on to my opinion in most aspects. I have to finish the last 2 chapters still and I'll post what I agree with and don't agree with, but it's comprehensive. I wish Travel Bum had more material online, his game is perfect for today's society. I've posted this elsewhere, but the youtube channel Ryan is Driving is a great example of good 2018 game, although it's not a PUA channel.

Anyone who "focuses on online game" has an aspect of true game missing from their repertoire. Sure it's easy, but they'll get bored eventually and the pool is limited unless you get lucky. For me 2018 game is about making connections, tolerating or navigating around feminists, and in general being an enjoyable/smart person to be around.. negging and dick-game probably still work, but the hoes that go for that these days are unsavory at best.

Can you give a breakdown of what Travel Bum's game is? I've watched some of his content, but it seems to be all flash and no fire.

I actually bought and have PDF copies for anyone who PMs me a private email adx:

Paul Janka (6'1" Slim 7 NOT a Male Model) - Harvard Grad - Moved to NYC to work on Wall Street - 2008/09 Recession hit made redundant - Moved into an upper East Side Micro Studio APT that fit one Lounge Chair, Microwave, Dorm Fridge, loft mattress and small PC Desk. Worked as a tutor to Upper East Side Yuppie Parents who wanted their kids exposed to Harvard Graduates at a young and impressionable age). Micro-sized pad BUT had location+. PJ Kept a spreadsheet of what got him laid in NYC and what did not - compared notes with other Players he crossed paths with - Wrote Getting Laid in NYC as a diary of sorts - went viral - got him on Dr. Phil as the Villain Player to warn your snowflake daughters and MILFs about.

1. Getting Laid in NYC - sort of a Tongue in Cheek PDF guide to NYC Street-Coffee Shop-Manhattan Lounge Bar Game

2. Attraction Formula - was a PDF Ebook that ran about $50 where Janka got serious and organized his thoughts and experiences into a repeatable methodology that he could teach seminars to NYC Newbies, Betas, IRTs etc at $1500 a pop for a weekend Deep Dive on how to get laid anywhere with PJs attraction formula.

PJ is a Harvard grad (Not a Mystery Method Sex, Drugs and RockNRoll Costumes Clown) - Educated, polished and able to be a natural in business casual or suited professional venues and used same high DHV to build a serious 100+ notch count (spreadsheet) of decent 7-8-9-10 SMV Ladies in NYC - one mega hot EE chick saw him on Dr. Phil - hunted him down online and came over to bang him at his micro apt just to see if he was as good as all the Hype.

Like Roosh, PJ eventually matured and actually got put on lockdown by a high SMV High IQ lady in Europe and moved on from the active PUA industry to other pursuits.

His latest Sept 2018 newsletter (See how he creates interest and asks for an email reply to close - building interest but not asking for $$$ yet - all part of a multi-staged process to close the sale - not unlike the process to get the lay):

Learn How to Travel The World Using An Online Business

Paul here,

So many guys have reached out and asked about the decreasing quality and reception of women in the US and most Western countries even with advanced Game techniques.

Unfortunately, because of Social Media and smart phones, women in Western countries get inundated with offers and approaches by dozens and sometimes hundreds of men per month. Their options for a variety of men is greater now than it has ever been in the past.

Only a couple decades ago, women were only propositioned by a few guys in their social circle, now due to technology women get to choose from 100 times more men than they did in the past.

That means Game is getting more and more difficult for men in Western countries.

THE SOLUTION

Visit/move to a location where your value as a man is increased and appreciated.

I would like the introduce you to one of my students, Alex, who has taken advantage of this opportunity and is currently traveling the world implementing my techniques to meet quality women in cultures that value strong men.

Here is Alex:

Hey guys,

As you undoubtedly know, the quality of women in the United States has been continually deteriorating for the last several years because of Feminism and girls’ increased opportunity to meet and sleep with dozens of men.

Two years ago, I decided to leave the United States to travel to countries where the women don’t all have short hair and could stand to lose 50+ pounds.

The results have been nothing short of incredible.

While in the US (and other Western countries) girls’ quality has never been lower and their options have never been greater, countries in South America, South East Asia, and Eastern Europe still offer a huge opportunity for men who are interested in meeting attractive women.

Simply changing your environment can make getting women so much easier.

I have been able to travel the world because of my online busines.

So many guys want to travel the world, but they have limiting beliefs that long-term travel is expensive or they don’t have a way to generate income while in other countries.

When I realized that my life would be a lot easier in other countries I decided to look for ways to build a business that I could run online.

That’s when I started my dropshipping business.

Dropshipping is a business model where you create an online store, customers buy your products, then you send the products from the manufacturer to your customer. That way you don’t need to invest in product up front and you don’t have to have a warehouse to store the product.

The whole business can be done remotely!

We are thinking about doing a webinar to explain how this process works and show you guys how to build an online business of your own so you can use it to travel and practice Game.

Reply to this email if you would be interested in learning more!

Paul and Alex

I'm a little surprised at how many RSD recommendations are in this thread. Is RSD Todd and Julien and Luke actually the best products? I think they are good but I would have thought that here on Roosh forums there would be a lot of doubters on the RSD style.

What about just reading the roosh forums? Or is this more about networking and meeting other members?

I'm surprised at all the RSD support as well. They've got a few really good guys (like Ya'Really) but a lot of their system seems based on active denial that anything besides game(what they're selling) matters whatsoever. Active denial of reality in other words. The whole package (lifestyle etc.) AND game is always going to beat just game by itself. A lot of this may be nostalgia, because they did help a lot of people over the years break out of their shell, but their fundamental premise is flawed. And not in an overly healthy way either IMO.

No need to buy any of those social circle $300+ products. Just get the book "How to Be a Power Connector: The 5+50+100 Rule for Turning Your Business Network Into Profits"

I can't be bothered with that stuff right now in my life, but the author pretty much gives you the exact blueprint on how to build whatever kind of social circle you want. She went from a nobody to being friends with millionaires and billionaires.

RE: Who are the best to learn from in 2018?
The thing I always try to remind myself is that people are at different stages experience, knowledge and priority wise in life

Different teachers are going to cater to different people depending on where they are on in their journey. Some people stop and are happy at one place in that journey, while others seek more and seek to go further.

A guy at the beginning of his dating and life journey needs more motivation, mindset and basic attraction fundamentals than deep, varied, specialised or advanced advice.

RSD, and 99% of the pickup guys on YouTube without a doubt cater to guys at the start of their journey.

There is nothing wrong with that - just don't drink the coolaid and start thinking they are anything more than that because it can get you into a dangerous life trap a few years down the road. I've seen it time and time and time again, and it's scary when guys are in denial because they can't or don't want to admit they fell for it all and fell so far down the rabbit hole

What I recommend you do is this:
1. Watch as many videos as you can from different pickup artists. Watch practical stuff about fundamentals, motivational stuff and mindset stuff. Be mindful of what sounds like marketing/sales/hype stuff, and what stuff is actually valuable to you

2. GO OUT. At least twice a week or more if you can in your first year. Mix it up between night game and day game. Join a forum and get a wing, and meet other guys in your city

3. Start identifying the stuff that does and doesn't work. Start with night game if you are unsure because it's socially acceptable to talk to girls in venues like night clubs and bars, and also get leads through online. Go on as many dates as you can and get into the habit of closing. You can then work your way into indirect conversations during the day, and as you gain confidence and competence, get more adventurous during the day. I would recommend against spam approaching in person when you are new. I've seen horror stories with my own eyes of guys spamming the town they live in and multiple girls remembering them 5 years after.

4. After 1.5 to 2 years (it could be longer if you are coming from a really fresh or socially isolated place) of going out and testing things for yourself, consider doing an immersion for 30 days in Vegas or around a major city where there are a group of guys doing the same thing as you. Bootcamps and online programs generally don't give you much value in comparison from what I've seen.

5. Do some travelling of your own and apply your skills in other countries and cities so you can see how you go in different environments and so you have more data

6. At this point, there is nothing else in your pickup journey that anyone can teach you or show you that will get you any further than you already are, or that you haven't seen before. If there is, you will generally hit steep steep diminishing returns here comparative to the time and money you put in. You should be capped out in terms of the average girl you are able to pick up from cold approach - you should be near your potential. Don't get sucked in to taking any programs or paying anyone to 'get to the next level'

Either you stay in the game and you are satisfied/fulfilled at this point, or you get out the game and build other areas of your life.

If you choose the latter, you now have cold approach as one more tool in your belt to use to compliment your life, as opposed to it being your whole life. This is actually how you 'get to the next level' in terms of getting more out of life. You work on yourself and become more well rounded OUTSIDE of pickup, and the rest of your life will come naturally

I know guys are going to disagree with this - but this is exactly what worked for me

I reached a ceiling, got frustrated, realised pick up was limited and deeply flawed on it's own, worked on building the rest of my life (this can take a few years by itself), now have more life fulfilment, and also feel like I have a much more sustainable and flexible way to bring opportunities into my life - both in dating and in general

With all due respect Sir... you trying to argue with Corsega is like bringing a knife to a Gunfight! I'm a Semi Retired DayGamer... and even I fully realized that a certain percentage of chicks won't be comfortable talking to you in person... cuz it'll feel weird!

I'm sticking up for him... and I've never even met him. Corsega is one of the few dudes I've read Game material from that Gave me a Zen Master vibe like Mystery, Roosh & my mentor Juggler! That's the Mount Rushmore of Game Right There!

A lot of naturals, like I assume you are, have this Black & White mentality from Game. For those of us who've had to study this $hit... we realize there's many ways to "Skin The Cat"!

If you Hate Online that's fine... but if you open your mind to it... it might become a Nice additional Pu$$y stream! I know it did for me with Craigslist thanks to the advice of VincentVenturi on Here! Shit R.I.P Craigslist... miss you Dearly!

RE: Who are the best to learn from in 2018?
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I think having your game filmed and reviewing, and also recording audio are really important learning tools.

Getting feedback from others is also very important I believe. So, if you can make a lot of connections with other gamers that's great. If you don't know anyone that's good, then you might want to take a bootcamp or immersion program at some point in your gaming career.

Question about forum use:

Are you guys seeing and meeting people who are using forums as their primary learning tools, or would you say that watching videos is more effective?

Cheers!

The best RSD products were Transformations and the Jeffy Show, back in 2007. Tim's Flawless Natural program was also good.

Still applicable.

Call me oldschool but The Book of Pook is still the best.

You have posters here with plenty of wisdom and good advice too.

Not a fan of RSD.

They seem to talk a lot without actually saying much. Lots of bragging in their videos too.

Tyler has some useful insights if you can stand hearing him ramble for hours to get to those 30 seconds of wisdom. That fat guy talking about social circle game is full of shit.

Very little actual game advice.

Compare these jokers to Roosh!

He actually gives actionable advice.
Do this and this and this and you get laid. Done!

Hi from what I recall - RSD Luke for social circle, RSD Todd 2 or more programs were recommended, and also Julien Pimp 2 times.

I agree that about Pimp and the System being good, but I've done a lot of RSD so I was looking for someone to challenge the RSD model a bit more here on the Roosh forums, because I think the styles are very different.

I'm not a fan of Luke's game, but I can definitely get on board and agree that Julien pimp and Todd's newer stuff is good. I really like what one of the posters said about watching a lot of different PUA infield videos from different coaches being very valuable.

RE: Who are the best to learn from in 2018?
I've been watching Evolution Daily lately. This guy is good at day game, and has a lot of infields. He was previously way overweight and totally transformed himself. I think he's really good at day game and would recommend his videos.

I thought this video was cool about top PUAs. It's 4 part series actually.

I was expecting to hate this, but I agree with his picks. All of these guys are legit from what I can see.

I've met Vadim (HonestSignalz) in real life. He has a great vibe and punches above his weight. He also has moral character, which is lacking in a lot of pickup artists.

Of the pick-up teachers I've seen so far, I genuinely prefer Roosh. No sycophancy.

I like the birds eye view he takes, especially in his latest book. It doesn't go into minutae and over-detail but gives you the broadstrokes to find what works for you. For people that aren't socially autistic, it's perfect as it gives you the principles without stifling your creativity.

The few specifics he gives are gems: I used his "Why do you...?" negging/teasing question on a recent date and it worked like a charm.

WIA on this forum is pure gold as well.

I did't see Luke in there. Actually I can say that this guy worked with Luke a lot in the Vegas immersion program as an assistant, and he does not like his game at all. Can you elaborate on why you are recommending RSD Luke's game?

I'm not recommending Luke's Game. I'm recommending Luke's social circle knowledge. The type of social circle he talks about building is not "Game".

I don't think Luke is great at actual, technical game. In fact, he freely admits this. He just sits back and lets the girls do the work. I also think (and have heard) that Luke is a horrible coach.

But until anyone shows me another guy who is talking about building the same sort of elite social circle that Luke is, and giving guys the exact steps to do so, I will recommend Social Circle Blueprint.
