Will Trump really run for re-election in 2020 ? (What if he does not)
I thought this deserved its own thread.

Everyone seems to automiatically assume Trump will run for re-election in 2020. However, I'm starting to have my doubts. Trump is known in the past for throwing in the towel when things don't go this way.

(See his past examples when he almost went bankrupt and sold the Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, NJ, or when he abandoned his huge Riverside South project in Mahattan in the late 1980s/early 1990s.)

Now the midterm results were really lacklustre, the wall with Mexico has not been built at all, censorship across social media is still rampant, men are still getting divorce raped nationwide, feminism is strong as ever, and the globalists continue their never ending crusade of worldwide degeneracy. I could go on, but you get the point.

Is everyone 100% convinced he will really run for a 2nd term ?
Perhaps I'm just being paranoid...but wanted to hear other opinions on this topic.

We may have much less time than we think to get our shit together as men.

Yes, I am 100% sure that he will. His ego is too large to not even try.

RE: Will Trump really run for re-election in 2020 ? (What if he does not)
Trump has placed himself solidly as a target of the legacy establishments of both parties while effectively taking over the GOP through an ideological purge which sacrificed the House while solidifying his Senate. He's gained a bit more leverage where it counts if he keeps Presidenting while if he steps down he's made enough enemies to ruin his and his family's legacies if he doesn't follow through on Great Again.

The projects Trump quit as a business man, he quit because the downside of continuing outweighed the upside. It was a matter of throwing in the towel or actually losing by continuing to burn capital and influence. Now that he's in politics the math is different. He has to preserve his influence and his power by getting re-elected or the Deep State et al which had been indifferent to him as a businessman will bury him and his family.

Trump doesn't like losing though....and he especially does not like losing face.
If he can't win big like in 2016, he may decide it's not worth it.

Millions of people across the USA permanently destroyed their friendships, workplace relations, and social reputations to support Trump. Many feel left down after 2 years. If just 10% of those who voted for him in 2016 don't turn up to the polls, Trump will struggle to get re-elected with the margin he needs.

There is strong merit to these arguments, but Trump may decide he can cut some sort of a deal (like he always does) with his enemies in order go back to being a businessman.

Realistically, no one else in his family can garner the public support he does. Trump is 1 man band politically. This isn't a political dynasty like the Kennedys or the Bushes. Realitically Trump junior, and Eric will never get the mass support to become president, and NO ONE here wants a president Ivanka.

What options do we have as men if he doesn't run in 2020 ?

The thing is you can't cut a deal with psychos. Trump has pissed off too many people too deeply to cut a deal.

When I speak of his family I don't mean their potential political careers. I mean that if Trump quits, his family is going to be hounded, harassed, and prosecuted. Trump, his family, and what he stands for is going to be subject to the left's intense hate for a long time and he has to destroy his enemies in a way quitting doesn't allow.

For his family's sake Trump needs two terms and the sort of dominance that I grew up hearing Reagan had, though by the time Reagan was President circumstances and the times cucked him.

All he does quitting without a second term is lose face. Trump runs in 2020, and he gets a second term.

RE: Will Trump really run for re-election in 2020 ? (What if he does not)
You know there's a site called PredictIt where you can bet on whether or not Trump will win in 2020. For the people who think he won't then put er up.

I honestly don't know if he will run again or not. I don't even know if he will win because like I said in the Trump thread if someone were to outextreme him (whether left or right) he could lose. Or if the GOP decides to stab him in the back and place Pence in then of course he'll lose.

What we can do is take care of ourselves, our family, our friends, and the RVF community. We can learn new skills and relocate to safer places to buy more time.

Agreed, only exception is if he's with the elites. Time will tell because if Trump doesn't turn things around and the media doesn't incite the left to attack him once he's out of office then the right got suckered. Look at George W Bush, the man the media hated and now he gets heralded for being Never Trump.

I don't know, you can always invest 5 seconds and look on their website. But that seems like too much work for you.

He filed for candidacy for 2020 shortly after entering office in 2016. Again, seems like an inconvenience for you to look up.

You seem like the kind of guy who adds zero value to anyones' lives yet expect people to bend over backwards to your irrelevant questioning.

Filing for candidacy doesn't mean jack shit.
Trump can change his mind anytime he wants, especially if the reality on the ground is not in his favour anymore. Trump likes to win BIG...and if winning big is not a sure thing, Trump often takes himself out of the game. That's always been his way of doing things.

RE: Will Trump really run for re-election in 2020 ? (What if he does not)
OP and various commenters: You guys really worry for a living.

He WILL run again, for President Donald J. Trump knows exactly what is at stake here and he considers it his ordained responsibility to safe what is left of America from the gender bending Marxist rabble hell bent on destroying it.

Oh, and by the way... as always... HE WILL WIN! Which means WE WILL WIN.

Now with all due respect: I suggest everyone STFU and instead focus on helping President Trump to maximize what remains of his first term. Wining about negligible and purely hypothetical issues should be grounds for a temporary ban. And I'm only half joking here esteemed gentlemen.

We are facing a serious, powerful, deeply embedded, and determined enemy, and who by the way is not abiding by any rules. There is zero margin for error and failure is not an option. So instead of wondering what may happen or not, I suggest that everyone take concerted action instead to make a difference in your own lives and the people you care for.

Look at our venerable host Sir. Roosh The Brass Balled: he's effectively embraced the black pill and is going far and beyond what could be expected to get the word out and warn as many young men as possible about the dim reality that is looming directly ahead. Roosh is doing this knowing full well that his life may completely and irrevocably be destroyed for doing this. But just like President Trump (blessed be his name) he has accepted this responsibility and is willing to take this all the way, no matter where it leads.

BTW, if you have not listened to Roosh's past two webcasts I strongly recommend you do so. I thought I knew what was going on after years of contributing here. But the past two episodes were huge eye openers for me.

I think I made my point and apologize in advance for my candor. But I'm an old dog who has been around the block a few times, thus it is my self imposed duty to occasionally kick you young bucks in the ass and point you in the right direction.

We CAN and we WILL win this. But it will take all we've got and then some. So let's quit screwing around and instead get busy.

MAGA!

RE: Will Trump really run for re-election in 2020 ? (What if he does not)
I have to say the trash talking and belittling that goes on is depressing. The OP is posing a very relevant question and I do believe he has some insights into Trump's character. Now since you've all been waiting for what I have to say here goes.

Trump did not win big in 2016. He lost by over 3 million votes and 2 percentage points. Yes, I know we do not elect Presidents by popular votes, I taught history for a while. He won because of razor thin victories in states like MI, WI, and PA. Rust Belt states that have both been hurting and ignored since the 1970s. The Globalists and their lackeys in politics and the press went ballistic over their surprising loss in 2016 and have worked both diligently and viciously to overturn this election. They have all but accomplished this in the midterms of 2018 which were not lackluster but a complete disaster for the GOP. If you have the time and the inclination do a district by district analysis of the Congressional elections and you will see that most of the districts the Democrats flipped will be extremely difficult to flip back. New England is solid and apparently permanently blue. Will the last Republican in NY, NJ, IL and CA please turn out the lights. Suburban women, particularly white women have turned the tide in the suburbs in favor of the Democrats. Additionally you have big business like GM with their recent announcements of cutbacks, and the Feds apparent desire to raise rates until there is another recession as looming crises the President must face. Guys make no mistake about it. Brexit and Trump shook the Globalists to their core. They are fighting back and winning. Trump is going to need a Johnny Unitas like 4th quarter comeback to salvage his Presidency. As for the rest of the Republican Party they are not called the Stupid Party for nothing. It looks very bad for 2020 and whatever happens Trump's enemies will never give him any quarter as long as he's still breathing.

This.
In Pennsylvania for example he won by almost the same number of votes as the Amish population there, who traditionally NEVER go to the polls, but made an exception in 2016 cause even they could see that their future existence as a tribe was in peril. Will the Amish vote for Trump again in 2020 ? Doubtful. They will probably go back to abstaining from voting as they traditionally do. That alone could flip Pennsylvania back to the democrats.

Let me be clear here.
I want to Trump to run in 2020 and win.
I don't see any other alternative for us as men.

However, I think it’s very naive to think it's a forgone conclusion he will run.
It's also naive to think he will win no matter what.
The democrats/globalists/dark side/crazies doesn't even need to get more people to vote for them....they just need 5% to 10% of Trump supporters from 2016 to stay home.

That 5% to 10% who stay home could very well be the people who were made to look like fools, cause they fanatically believed for more than 2 years that mass arrests of 50,000 satanic paedophiles and a revelation of a US military master plan were always just "about to happen" cause an autistic, numerology obsessed, deep state created psyop, naming himself after a james bond character, told them so repeatedly on 8chan.

RE: Will Trump really run for re-election in 2020 ? (What if he does not)
If Trump doesn't start serious swamp draining he will be ruined by a communist revenge plot the day he leaves office. Reputation, finances, and I honestly think they will imprison him on some bullshit charge.

While I'm dissapointed in many ways by Trump, keep in mind he kept Hillary out. It is still way too early to give up on Trump, but at this point everyone needs to be working on contingency plans.

RE: Will Trump really run for re-election in 2020 ? (What if he does not)
Of course he will run. Only reason he wouldn't is that if his life or that of his immediate family members were threatened. IIRC this happened to Ross Perot, whose daughter;s life was threatened by the Bush clan/deep state. I don't think it's going to happen to Trump though, because he's got part of the deep state in his camp, they've got his back.

Trump won big, the score was 304 to 227. That was the final score, and the only one that matters. I think he will win again, by a narrower score, because the Dems candidate can't possibly be as bad as the crooked witch.

Instead of having a large amount of congressmen and senators running though it will be purely for the presidency. There has to be a lot more variables and processes to keep track of. I would assume there are some plans to keep the election at least fair.

He's shocked us time and time again since 2016. Quite frankly the way some people on this forum talk they would have expected him to be assassinated by now. We have to remember he's literally being fought for every single inch he gains.

I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic.

No matter what we all need to be working hard at improving our lives.

Worst case scenario the MAGA agenda is no more and we have to deal with the blowback and contingency plans.

Best case scenario the swamp is drained and America restores some of its former glory and we reap those benefits.

The number of strawman arguments and other logical fallacies in your posts is downright comical. Thanks for the entertainment. Trumps approval ratings have steadily improved, There's very little indication over the last two years that he'll be anything but successful at voter turnout. Look at his rallies. Bill and Hillary Clinton can't even fill a Costco parking lot.

RE: Will Trump really run for re-election in 2020 ? (What if he does not)
Initially I was in the the camp that Trump would only do one term out of choice as he would accomplish so much and then grow boerd of the job. Now, with a split Congress, I switch positions to see him run for 2020 so he can retake both houses and finish off his checklist.

911, great post. I also think that Trump will run and win. However, the DS have their claws in him now via the various swamp creatures in his cabinet. He no longer poses as big a threat to their interests as he did in 2016.

Think Jack Nicholson at the end of Cuckoo's Nest. That's essentially what happened to Trump, in my opinion.

Kokkinakis banged your girlfriend. Sorry to tell you that mate.

If he's so popular then why did the GOP just lose 38 congressional seats? Why did the Dems just beat the GOP by over 9 million votes and 8 percentage points in congressional elections? You think I like posting doom and gloom shit? It is what it is. The incessant attacks ever since election day 2016 have taken their toll. Defeat is not a certainty but a definite strong and immediate rally is necessary. I hate the current reality but I'm not going to pretend things are going well. May he turn the tide once again. That is my hope. In the meantime this is reality.
