How does your mom's and your dad's age at the time you were born personality and IQ??
So its a question for any pundits here who might have had some access to research that had data on whether, "A person's mom's and dad's age at the time you were born affect personality and/or IQ? I wanted to create a POL to see at what age was someone's mom and dad had forum members here, maybe we could find a pattern since we seem like we have more of similar personality traits in terms of how we approach life.

So you should start by saying how old where yours, then we might try to find some pattern.

I like how OP admits his father committed statutory rape if it was indeed done in the USA Laugh

It was probably consensual, but it's still funny.

Not in the USA thank God, because I attribute to some extent a lot of man I am to My dad and in a place I was born; believe it or not it was difficult to get education but my father did it; I wonder what would have happened if he was charged then if he lived in the USA

Dad 28, mom 34. I accept suggestions about what this might say about me.

RE: How does your mom's and your dad's age at the time you were born personality and IQ??
Dad 44, mum 40, I am the youngest son out of 5 kids, me and my first older brother (he was born after my oldest sister) are the most intelligent in my family, I am probably more intelligent because I have read more and traveled to more places, however he was way more financially successful when he was my age (even though I am not doing bad at the moment, he already passed away btw).

I think men who are into self development will raise their kids better, intelligence doesn’t do it all, I have a friend who has parents who are 140 in IQ and she said her parents were not the best parents, sure they were able to raise a child who is more intelligent than the average person but raising intelligent kids is not enough. My dad was 44 when he had me and I don’t think he was a great dad at all, i appreciate the fact that he stayed with my mum till death did them apart but sometimes being raised by two parents doesn’t give you much advantage over your peers. Saying that, I still think having a father figure is important, even if that cunt is not impressive as a father.

No idea how to answer the question since I don't know the science behind personality development and you can argue there's some nurturing involved too. But I think I can answer the question of optimal time to have children.

I've seen extreme ends in my family:

Young as in mid 20s and old as in late 40s.

I think the answer is in the middle. Not too late or too young. Late means higher chances of genetic mutations and you won't be around for your kids when they're older. Conversely having kids when young is stupid. Raising kids in my opinion isn't an arm and a leg (I suspect society parades that 100K amount to dissuade whites from having more children) but at the same time some stupid people will rely on the state to bail them out.

I agree with Pitt here. You are better off being raised by attentive and insightful parents than by intelligent and neglectful parents. My parents were 20 when they had me, so prime age for having healthy kids. But when it came to being parents they were pretty unskilled. They were both poor and constantly worked (dad) or worried (mom). Being the 80's we let the neighborhood raise us and had to figure shit out on our own. It lead us to be independent, but I sure as shit could have used to guidance in life other than "work your bag off".

I am gonna play it different with my son. He was born when we were mid 30's so I get to raise him with lot of knowledge I gained from a life of adventure and mistakes. His IQ is pretty average, but already his SQ is way ahead of other kids born to parents of high intelligence - low experience.

Yeah I don't think there's much of a difference if a kids' parents are 20 or 40 - obviously there's an impact and statistically children of younger parents should be slightly 'superior' genetically to kids of older parents with the same environmental factors, but again I don't think it plays nearly as big of a role as environment or the way you were raised, education, etc.

I also think the whole IQ thing is blown way out of proportion as it correlates with success and quality of life. Just because someone is successful financially doesn't always mean they have a higher IQ - remember those tests consist of solving puzzles. I can find you tons of Chinese dudes who are wizards at math and IQ tests but are average/slightly above average financially, and on the other end of the spectrum you can go online and find plenty of 'normal' or even below-average people that are CEO's of big companies. I love watching Grant Cardone because it reminds me that you don't have to be genius to be worth $300M. (Speaking of Grant, check out his daughters who he had around age 50-55 and tell me they don't look like normal, healthy kids)

Would you rather be someone born to older parents with an IQ of 100 but great life experiences, street smarts, and a desire to succeed or would you rather be someone born to young parents with an IQ of 110 but had everything handed to you and raised in a leftist home for example?
