DailyMail Encourages Women to 'Marry Down'
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article...-down.html

Quite the opposite of hypergamy (hypogamy) if only it mentioned wages/income as I have an inkling that their educations don't correlate with their salary (not to mention other components).

RE: DailyMail Encourages Women to 'Marry Down'
You can read this headline alot of different ways.

Maybe that an uneducated real man has what it takes to attract a high class women.

In this case these women are 2's. They're fucking ugly, middle aged heifers with kids and baggage.

But naturally we read about them as if they are fairy tale princesses who were able to find their 'one' (in a long line of ones) in the end.

Instead of coming off the pedestal and realising that the wall has hit, doubled around, lapped them, hit them again and noone's interested in the Sex Life of Ageing Slugs.

But they don't care about their titles and qualifications, those things are pretty much bought in this day and age, what matters to them is that matters of the heart, emotions, having a significant other.

You couldn't write an article like that about men for men - they wouldn't give a shit or they'd end up retching.

Its ALMOST as if these women -who should be Presidents and Command armies and Business CEOs - are >wired differently< ...

RE: DailyMail Encourages Women to 'Marry Down'
A bunch of WNB chicks bragging about their educations which didn't lead to particularly successful careers.

Quote:Throughout my 20s I was on a fast-track career trajectory as an accountant. After graduation I walked into a job where I met my first husband on my first day.

Is an accountant considered "fast-track" in England?

I'm guessing they overemphasize their educational achievements (history and teaching) to hide the fact that they don't have stable families and couldn't keep their first marriages together. They may be failures at being women, but just look at this history education degree!

I like this:
Quote:Suddenly I was at home all day and depression swooped in. My ex travelled for work and I felt he wasn't very sympathetic when he came home. Turning 30 was a wake-up call for me. I realised I wanted to spend my working days doing something that mattered.

Didn't occur to her to start a family with her husband, that doesn't "matter" enough. So she moves to London and becomes a tutor while getting a teaching degree...now THAT'S what really makes a difference.

In the first example, she's an English teacher and he runs a small construction company. This is considered saying down, because she had a certificate?

I declare holy jihad on all who start threads about articles and fail to copy-paste said articles into the OP.

May Allah visit his swift vengeance upon them!

God demands of Man responsibility. God demands of Woman vulnerability. These are their curse and blessing alike. Libertianism is to Man as Feminism is to Woman.

They can write whatever they want, men don't want to marry English women.

In what fucking world is being a construction company owner lower than being an english teacher on the social ladder?

What is "marrying down" though? Western women primarily judge men by physical type. So a rich and successful but short, older, chubbier guy is "down" to them, whereas handsome and close to them in age even while making less money is perfectly normal.

Then Lois forces Superman to stop being a superhero and be just Clark Kent, the reporter.

Being a superhero is what attracted her and now that he's just a boring beta provider, she loses attraction and starts banging Batman.

Damn, DC Comics writers were more redpilled than I thought.

That's the British class system for you. Anyone working in the construction industry, irrespective of their actual role, is at first impression assumed to be from a working class background. Meanwhile, people who go to University and get a degree-related job are usually deemed to be at least middle class, regardless of how much money they actually make.

^ Not just England, most women have zero confidence in their judgment and will chose a husband according to what society says is valuable, then they'll cheat on the side with who their nature says is valuable.

Haha this one is mostly image based, so the text without images loses all significance.

This was how the term 'cultural capital' was coined. The distinction between financial capital and cultural capital was large - while finance can come and go, culture (or class) remains permanent.

It is cultural capital that defines our tastes, our vocabulary, our clothes, our accents, our education, or cultural norms, and so on.

By using this model of class distinguishers it became clear that no matter how much money a blue collar worker accrues; they can never become truly middle class.

OP right now:

A man who procrastinates in his choosing will inevitably have his choice made for him by circumstance.

A true friend is the most precious of all possessions and the one we take the least thought about acquiring.

RE: DailyMail Encourages Women to 'Marry Down'
The cook and the construction co owner are the ones marrying down. The middle couple both appear to be equally fat and comparable in appearance.

The construction guy in particular, who appears to be above average in height, in decent shape and owns a company is married to an older woman who clearly has a condescending attitude towards him. He could get a younger woman who is more physically attractive and appreciates him.

The cook is in a less appealing occupation to women, but he also appears to be of above average height and is well dressed and in good shape. His wife is older and chubby.

Once again, the barometer used for what people look for in a partner only considers what women think are important. Not just in men, but in themselves, as if men have no say in the matter.
