I hope you aren't intending to make a career out of the professor thing, because the fucking-your-students thing is going to come crashing down in spectacular fashion in the not so distant future. As assuredly as gravity.

Thanks for your concern. I make way more money in the private sector than the education sector. I'm not a professor for career reasons.

Would you mind dropping a mini data sheet on this?

I also do pretty well for myself (ecommerce) but it's not intellectually satisfying or something that gives me much social interaction/community standing. Actually it's a PITA explaining what I do to people lol..

Being a part-time professor would be a nice supplement i think. College chicks would be an added bonus.

That's f'd up.

It's just as disrespectful for a teacher to be texting the whole class as it is for students to be watching Netflix. Probably even more because the teacher is a role model of sorts.

I'd flip my sh!t if I had a professor texting the whole class.

I'm reasonably certain though that you're bluffing about being a teacher.

Hell I don't mind kids watching netflix. The only disrespectul thing is when I am talking/lecturing and I have to keep raising my voice because students are chatting away. I normally raise my voice once, and if they don't shut up I call them out. They can sit there and watch netflix, text, sleep, whatever, as long as they are quiet. Again, it's not my job to force knowledge down their throats. I am the watering hole, i'm not forcing them to drink. If they wanna pay $2k+ per class and fall asleep, that's on them.

I don't text in the middle of lectures. I assign the class practice problems/labs and I can text while they are doing them.

I am professor. But won't be for very much longer. The time sink is generally not worth vs the private sector. It's not just class time that you have to consider, its: grading (I don't have TAs), office hours, class preparation (normally only needed the first semester you teach a new class), random academic events, etc. The coeds are the only thing that keep me there.

I'll think about doing a mini-datasheet but the people it would apply to would be very small and the possibility of doxxing would be high. Plus looking at the google results for "college professor game", I'm sure a datasheet on that would appear on page 1 in no time. I don't mind writing something up but I will probably just share it privately with those that request

Never cross streams.

Atomic, first- thanks for sharing the info. Very eye opening, and somewhat inspiring should I ever become wealthy, single, and desire to change professions.

It's interesting to hear that the students want to keep the relationship (or bang) low key. But is that always the case? Women talk and gossip like there's no tomorrow. What happens when one of the girls demands your attention, or has some kind of dramatic flare up? Do you just have tight game to control that? Do you really have no girls at all that don't want something more from you?

Thanks again for sharing.

Most girls think they will be viewed as sluts for fucking the professor. That is why they don't want others to know. They will still normally tell their closest friend, which can be a dangerous but there is nothing you can do about it.

I don't think it's a matter of tight game. It's more of a matter of screening and setting expectations from the get go.

(03-21-2019 01:35 PM)Robert High Hawk Wrote:  Do you really have no girls at all that don't want something more from you?

The key milestone is normally week two or three after the first bang. This is when they start to want more and more of your time and can become insecure if you can't or don't want to see them more often.

This is normally handled by basic damage control game techniques. You have to let them know that you do desire them but are just very busy. You also normally want this happen near the end of the semester in case things become unmanageable you have the semester breaks as an easy way to slow things down. She will either go home for break or you can say you are taking a trip in the semester break. That gives you a solid month (winter break) or 2-3 months (summer break) to cool things down.

A key technique is also to try not to bang students that are in the same degree program you are in. You ideally want to teach at least one or two classes that count as gen eds. The gen ed classes are the hunting ground, you look for students that are in separate degree programs and are only taking the class to satisfy their gen ed requirement. For example: youre in the history department but teach history 401, you look for the girls that are not majoring in history. This way if the girl falls harder than you want you are only dealing with it for the rest of the semester instead of the next four years of her degree program.

This is why you need to be careful with grad students, and maybe only start something as they near the end of their program. But the grad students are normally older and more mature so it may be possible to establish boundaries from the start.

Never cross streams.

As a professor, what is your opinion on the value of online courses (coursera, Udacity, youtube, etc) vs. attending lectures in person? Now that student loans are ballooning out of control, what is the next step necessary for society to start dumping the BA and college lectures in favor of online learning and 6-12 month short credential courses?

The value you get from a coursera/Udacity/udemy course on a given subject is on par with the average college level education. Maybe even more so as an autodidact you learn how to learn and more importantly how to research and find answers to questions you have versus raising your hand and getting the answer spoon fed to you.

"Now that student loans are ballooning out of control, what is the next step necessary for society to start dumping the BA and college lectures in favor of online learning and 6-12 month short credential courses?"

For this to happen you would have to get enterprise level human resources departments to bless off on this. That is not going to happen anytime in the near future in all industries.

The best thing would be to have federal level certification exams / projects that anyone can take.

Say you wanna learn to code. You take some Introduction to Python course on youtube. You supplement it and take an intermediate Python course on one of the online education sites. You then pay $50 and sign up and take the "Federal Beginner Programmers Exam". The HR section of the company you apply to recognizes this to be on par with an associates in computer science (or something similar).

The left screams about free education, that is how you get it. A federally funded version of udemy with end of course examinations that are accredited. HealthCare.gov cost what, hundreds of millions to build? There is no reason why a free education site can't exist.

Never cross streams.

RE: Shitlord hippie-boomer admins at University BAN Millenials from Netflix
I fear gatekeepers have a vested interest in suppressing free course solutions/ education, just like they had a vested interest in stopping file-sharing, and digital textbooks. Look at how well those efforts went. Noone in the US bothers to torrent anymore. You look at it at face-value, and it's fucking completely counter-intuitive that you can't manage a free or low cost credentialed education despite being in the 21st century. Which leads me to conclude that the textbooks companies, universities, schools, institutions that handle out credentials are a cartel. And that's saying nothing about for profit-education which is a scam. Even though universities are public, or non-profit, for that matter, they are scams, and they work in concert to keep the cost high, although the degrees continue to drop in value. What gives? Some of that could be attributable to more people going to college, but I think also it is attributable to the massive expansion of amenities at universities (picture: swimming pools, sand volleyball courts, etc). As well as the growing size of the management/ HR class at most universities which just gives people jobs that are fundamentally unproductive, and/or whom just deal with concerns from snowflakes.

When you accept that the jobs most college graduates do are meaningless make-work and that even corporations are hiring vast numbers of these drones to do nothing of value in contravention of basic market principles then you see that higher education is functionally one giant scam to keep the masses stupefied, compliant, and too busy to breed or rebel against their overlords.

God demands of Man responsibility. God demands of Woman vulnerability. These are their curse and blessing alike. Libertianism is to Man as Feminism is to Woman.
