I agree. I'm not really interested in posting photos of myself or my food or any of that stuff. I am a rather private individual. I might need to compromise on that if I move back home.

Youtube is harder to build up, for both genders. It's just a cool thing to have in general, since most people don't do it

My impression is that a Youtube channel is still rather something that people have for a reason. They have a subject they center their channel around and feed people who are interested in that. I have two channels as well but they are not about me, but the content I produce. Maybe there are some people who just randomly blabber around for attention whoring, but those channels don't have a lot of viewers generally.

Meanwhile it seems that on Instagram every girl is there, no matter how meaningless her content or her lifestyle is. Just put a dog face filter, make a kiss mouth or hold your ass into the camera, that does it. Thousands of thirsty losers will follow and like and comment.

RE: Online Game: Is Instagram worth the pain in the ass?
I have a YouTube channel with 60K+ subs, and I don't really feel like it makes a HUGE difference in my "status" or whatever.

I think it works like this: if the girl were to find out "indirectly" you had a channel, it's a good thing. If the girl were to find out "directly" (you dm'ing her "hey cutie, look at my channel.." or "btw, I have a channel..") it's NOT.

I'm not really super agressive, I warm up slowly to girls so I'm not the best example, but I guess if you actually WERE outgoing and charming, etc. it could make a positive difference.
Women DID respond positively when they found out ("indirectly", not directly) that I had a channel. On Insta my audience stats is 80% women and 20% men, so I might not be using my full potential here.
Instead I'll piss it away on Tinder matching with hambeasts (even when I have my insta linked there).
Most of my audience is US, and I'm in Europe, so the logistics are not optimal.

I think the reason why IG doesn't fly well with a lot of guys is because it's one of the least masculine social networks ever invented. You can't help but to feel ridiculous being that guy who takes photos of everything he's doing. The struggle to get more followers, likes, engagement, all so you can appear social and well connected to girls, it's just stupid.

Some guys have compared the rise of IG to the rise of texting and later Facebook. Come on. Texting is just having conversations via text. You don't even need a profile picture unless you're using WhatsApp. Facebook is a lot heavier on the social media aspect, but a lot of people have their friend's list set to private, use privacy settings to restrict access to content, etc. No one's looking for engagement numbers when looking at a FB profile, unless we're talking about real content creators, which most people aren't. Facebook is a mix-and-match of various real life experiences (photo albums, conversations, newsreader) in a highly controlled environment.

The real life equivalent of Instagram is a popularity contest. That's what it boils down to. It's a cliche American high school movie in social media form. And that's why it entices teenagers and women. Vapid popularity and the attention it brings is like crack cocaine for women. Men join the contest because it increases their chances in getting pussy, but the environment is toxic for a guy.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying. A few years ago I would have agreed wholeheartedly and chimed in on my negative theories towards instagram.

But fact is if you were killing it on Instagram and pulling hotties regularly you wouldn't be complaining so much. If you do it correctly its life changing.

Its just one of those things that you gotta make a decision to sacrifice a little of your dignity in order to compete with the times.

I built this empire and I did it by myself. Nobody did it for me. Not Ivana, not Marla. Nobody! ~Donald Trump

I can see Instagram being a useful tool if you're living a baller lifestyle and like to show it off. That creates attraction from women, but whether that translates into actual dates and hookups is anyones guess. You'll have to figure out logistics and location.

Hi mate. I'm at 950, started with like 100 or so at the end of January. I didn't plug in anyone I knew really, or anyone from high school. I've used Followliker about One month one week consistently for automation. I'm thus up 850 followers. You need to make it public. I pull upwards of 10 percent engagement on each photo. Look into automation software like i mentioned. Target people with similar interests with automation software or I guess you could look at suggested people and send them follow requests manually. Make sure you request people with public profiles as opposed to private. Use hashtags. Put the location as well on each photo. Stick to your niche.

Hope this helps.

RE: Online Game: Is Instagram worth the pain in the ass?
I would have said 'forget about instagram' about a year ago. However, I am realizing that there is definitely potential here.

Especially if you curate your content and have attractive photos of yourself that are posted somewhat regularly. I would recommend using your city that you are in, as well as hashtags that are relevant for the city and area. This way, you can get exposure to women that are looking in the area.

This means that you can look for tags around you and find women that are in your neighborhood or at clubs/restaurants that you frequent.

Also, the story feature is one that is great to use, as it encourages engagement, and lots of girls are looking at everyone's stories. If you have an interesting post on there every once in a while, girls will randomly DM you and you can start a conversation. You can also see who is regularly looking at your story, which gives off a bit of intent on her part, if she's a regular viewer.

By liking a girls' photo, you set a little intention. So, if she likes one of your photos back, you can generally go ahead and follow her, if she follows you back, you might as well go shave your nuts because you're going to bang.

The formula is dead simple, and if you have a solid profile, you can do pretty decently on here. I have a hunch that Instagram will be a solid dating alternative to Tinder or other online platforms in the next few years.

It already is, in a lot of places Tinder is mostly reserved for bottom of the barrel women and all the hotter girls are on IG.

I have an IG account with some thousands of followers. I used a Tinder account to locate girls near me and added them to IG. Some began to follow me back. I never give them likes. I see their Stories and respond to some of them intelligently, never mentioning their appearance, always appealing to the intellect. I already banged two cuties this way.

You think you're going to daygame a 20 year old 9, set up logistics with texting, and not have her wonder once why you don't have social media accounts?

Good luck.

Good ol Graft, always bringing sanity, rationality, and reason into the discussion.

Can we just get into the hate guys have towards social media? Because overtime I have found some glaring trends in them.

1. Older men past their peak who are now bitter towards how much society has changed. Yeah tough luck that 9 does not want your good ol times tough guy approach anymore, she rather be with that young hipster with a lot of popularity who has a lot going for him, tough luck, adapt or wash out.

2. Guys who never figured shit out socially growing up and are now getting the swing of things but due to some bad influence from PUA and red pill nonsense, they socially exclude themselves by not getting on social media. Then later come to realize how much the guys who are well connected on there are slaying and getting attention.

3. Guys who cannot figure out social media and have now given up, so it turns into a sour grapes situation.

4. Guys whose lives generally suck and cannot seem to have anything to really show to the world that they can brag about.

I mean it's common sense now. A good IG account is like a great Yelp account for your business with a lot of people rating it 5 stars so others want to eat there.

People like people who other people like.

Girls like guys who other guys like and approve of.

Social proof and status are real things, if you don't like it, tough luck. Society and game aren't changing for you.

RE: Online Game: Is Instagram worth the pain in the ass?
I am not on IG. I think it is a time waster and it is toxic in general.

A lots of people talk about showing value but there is something I do not get:
Most successful people are working a hell of a lot and simply don’t have time for showing off their life’s.
In my case I rather spend time being the best at my trade

That s why I have a hard time understanding the value of IG. Should we consider it as a “status booster” if your real life is actually not that great?

When you are already working a lot you do not have much time for slaying pussies.
2 in a week is enough (if you add parties + gym + friends ect things get crazy fast)

Another thing to consider is scarcity and again I don’t get it:
Hot women will always have a better IG than you, they are just better at those things. How could you compete? Your status will alway appear lower
Also you have more and more guys who will also pay for fake followers, who will have pictures of vacations ect.
It looks like a “popularity bubble “

Then it will crash and people will move to another social media

Sometimes I wonder if I'm living on a different planet than the rest of you. 99% of girls do not ask if I'm on Instagram or bring it up in any way, and not one girl has ever reacted negatively to my not having one.

I could see if you want to steer girls toward your IG to show off your baller lifestyle, but this belief that you need to play the IG game to avoid looking like a pariah is not the reality I live in.

probably because most dudes on here chase vapid women with vapid pursuits, that's typically the demographic which is most promiscuous

women don't ask me it either

it almost seems like a shit test, it's as if the women these guys are after have doubts about the guy's SMV so they try to find out more through instagram..

I think your first sentence might generally be quite true. The girl who asked me and didn't believe that I don't have it was neither vapid nor promiscuous though and was quite shy. I had the impression that she wanted to check if I'm a player laying a lot of girls. So i'd say it's more of a stalking tool rather than a shit test.

Do you think having 60k followers help ur game. I also have some followings on my channel but I now try not to talk to much about my work - I don’t need my lays commenting on my YouTube channels. I used to get fire up when talking about work and that’s part of the charm with the ladies (I usually keep the conversation broad so it doesn’t bore them with details but yet broad enough to make it exciting) but nowadays girls just ask “what do u do?” And I realized not talking (much) about it kills some charm. What’s your thoughts?

could be a stalking tool. I will admit, I don't chase those types of women, and the one woman who did ask me if I had one was a MD/CEO (around 33 years old). granted, she was a tinder date so it doesn't surprise me in that capacity. but in real life, people don't ask.

It absolutely is. I wrote about it in my post in the other Instagram thread. Only low-value males and hopeless blue-pill guys hate on Instagram.

This. It's totally worth it but it takes effort to make yourself look cool and maintain an online presence, get followers, send DM's, etc. From my experience, the best way to go is to find and exploit your niche, i.e. a cool hobby, whether it's working out, music, traveling, something that's actually cool and fun. I hit IG hard in 2017 and banged 2 hot girls from it, recurring great sex from both, totally worth all the effort It also helped when a girl I met IRL would follow me and see my lifestyle and when she started liking my pics, I knew I was in there. As someone mentioned earlier it's definitely the way of the future for better or worse

How can I increase followers for my photography profile without paying for followers? I am using the best hashtags I can and I just get under 70 likes per photo mostly and can't increase followers over 200. Sad!

Do not use hashtags. You will only get likes and follows from bots.

Instead, follow hashtags similar to what you would use in your photos and give likes. Be generous. I think you can give up to 1,000 likes a day. Even leave comments on photos that you really like. Many will return the favor. Some will even follow you.

It's a slow process, but safe. And you know that on the other side they are human beings and not bots automating the growth of other accounts (that in a week will unfollow you).

i only have an instagram account to follow ugly and homely attention whores with great bodies i would otherwise never meet or approach in real life. It's some weird fetish i have with butterfaces, but i only find them sexually attractive from a far. I repeat i don't approach or swipe on butterfaces, but for some reason they do turn me on in a virtual space.

I think both ways (with IG and with no IG) are valid.

Of course, the type of people may vary, but someone can get results from any of them.

For my part, I don't have IG nor active Facebook. Till now, any girl has made me a problem because of that.

I will try this. The thing I hate most is when I post a picture and get likes and follow request from some +10k photographer and I return the favor by liking some of their photos and following them and they "repay" this few days later with unfollow.

That is why I have follow cop app which tells me who unfollowed me so I can unfollow them back.

Like anything, if Instagram isn't your thing then don't go for it, after all, it'd take a while to build up a solid profile anyways. Most girls are still on facebook and use it enough, but I agree that IG seems to be the golden egg these days, but just focus on day-game and you'll never have to worry about it Smile
