Quote:FRANCE JAILS 'JIHADIST' WOMAN (22) ACCUSED OVER FOILED TERROR ATTACK IN PARIS (NOTRE DAME)
10:46 PM , Friday April 12, 2019

Madani was jailed for encouraging would-be jihadists to go to Syria and participate in attacks against France.

Ines Madina is one of three women allegedly involved in a foiled plot in 2016 to blow up a car packed with gas canisters near the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris Ines Madina is one of three women allegedly involved in a foiled plot in 2016 to blow up a car packed with gas canisters near the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris

ONE OF THREE women allegedly involved in a foiled plot in 2016 to blow up a car packed with gas canisters near the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris was today sentenced to eight years in prison by a French court for earlier offences.

Ines Madani, 22, was sentenced following a three-day trial during which she was accused of encouraging would-be jihadists to go to Syria and participate in attacks against France between March 2015 and June 2016.

She used Telegram – an encrypted messaging app widely used by jihadists to communicate.

Judge Isabelle Prevost-Desprez said that Madani was “recruited” by Oumar Diaw, also known as Abou Barrou, an influential jihadist of the Islamic State group.

She used different pseudonyms on social networks, pretending for example to be Abu Souleymane, a jihadist returned from Raqa to carry out attacks in France.

“You had some autonomy in the management of your personality…. Your determination marks your dangerousness,” Prevost-Desprez said.

Madani’s lawyer, Laurent Pasquet-Marinacce, said her client, aged 18 at the time, was “a girl in search of recognition and love”.

“This (the sentence) is an acceptable decision,” she said.

Madani’s trial for trying to set fire to the car filled with six gas cylinders near Notre Dame will begin on 23 September.

Be careful. This can easily just be a scapegoat to further the war against islam. Remember, Iran just got another terrorist labeling upon them. Don't see the symptoms. Look for the cause.

RE: Another Day in Paris: Notre Dame is Burning
I just don't understand the effeminate trepidation and outright fear of war.

Names and fortunes are made and lost, and history is written by our actions, costly or not. There is nothing more rewarding for men than war, and nothing less so for women. Which is something to contemplate. Men who have been at war often find all else in life a poor substitute. Men who fight present wars are hamstrung like police and defeated for the same reason. But while conscripts are slaves, and soldiers are paid, for warriors and vikings (raiders) war is a purely profit seeking operation that creates monetary, economic, political, sexual opportunity to take by force whatever they wish. This is why I am cautious of ordinary soldiers and enamored of professional warriors - they know what is possible that they lack permission to bring into being. Yet, in civil wars, and particularly in wars of all against all, they are no longer limited. We are pirates, crusaders, vikings, and indo european charioteers once again, and free to build the world we desire as long as we are willing to fight for it.

Monuments claim territory. Destroying Monuments claims territory. Claiming territory determines who makes the rules.

Lets see what the response to this is. If the solution is to build a direct replica, or maybe even bigger and more intricate than before, then it was an accident. If the replacement is some behemoth post-modernist structure by a gay architect then it was intentful.

RE: Another Day in Paris: Notre Dame is Burning
I am seeing so many people rushing to judgement, getting emotional, threatening to take some sort of actions. The facts aren't even in yet, some reports indicate the fire is related to the recent renovations ongoing to prepare for Easter Sunday. Yet some emotional goons on here are ready to join the military lol. Apparently some of you have more information than the Deputy Mayor of Paris who on CBS mentioned he believes it is an electrical fire caused by recent renovations but not confirmed.

Not saying this isn't a tragedy, it certainly is, however many medieval buildings can be rebuilt. Look at the renovations European countries did after WWII, many medieval buildings were destroyed in Germany, France, Italy, and others yet were restored. The blue prints of these buildings are digitally saved and 3D models of the buildings.

So let's wait for the actual facts to come in before jumping to conclusion.

It somehow managed to avoid inexplicably being burnt to the ground for over 800 years. Hard to imagine the restoration team working on this ancient and pivotal European landmark would be so careless in their work for this to happen. They know there are 13,000 oak trees up there, surely they would secure fire starting risks and keep it away from 800 year old wood. Not even taken out by lightning in all this time.

But nomadbrah is right. It's gone, mostly. And nothing can bring back the craftsmanship 186 years of building in a time before brutalism consists of. Literally impossible to truly capture what was done all those centuries ago. In a way, it was like a time capsule, a glimpse into the far past and the zeitgeist of the 12th and 13th centuries.

I don't even have any French blood, but it is just horrifying seeing a huge part of European heritage that survived kings, queens, wars, revolutions, everything, all the big stuff, 186 years of work, gone in a single afternoon.

If Muslims did do this, as I suspect, there needs to be another fucking Crusade. There sure as hell would be a Jihad if someone fucked with that black cube.

The walls and towers, the external stone frame is now said to be saved. It will be a matter of rebuilding the interior, the roof/ceiling, the spire, and details like the altars, chapels and stained glass windows.

I hope they don't try to replicate things like the stained glass windows exactly, let some new design elements in.

RE: Another Day in Paris: Notre Dame is Burning
It is wise to remember that God works in mysterious ways, and that what may strike us as dark and hopeless circumstances are often merely the prelude to wondrous displays of God's glory. After all, the redemption of mankind and the defeat of sin and death was accomplished by an ignominious execution on a cross. Upon hearing the news of the crucified Jesus all the disciples hung their heads in despair and scattered in fear. Yet just a few days later, after being visited by the risen Christ, they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spent the rest of their lives zealously preaching the gospel, all of them to the point of death (11) or exile (1). Christ's death was a necessary prelude to his resurrection, you couldn't have one without the other. And it was his resurrection that lit the fire in the hearts of his disciples, a fire that they passed on, a fire that burns to this day. An eternal victory was born out of what seemed at the time to be the ultimate defeat. Such are God's ways.

Today an 850 year-old cathedral burned to the ground. It was not just a French landmark, it was a symbol of Christendom itself, its origins dating back to a day when men had such faith and zeal for God that they spent their entire lives working on a structure they knew they wouldn't live to see completed, all that God might be glorified through their labors. These were our ancestors. They were not fools or dupes, they were men of purpose and faith. They bequeathed us this cathedral not that we might praise their handiwork, but that we might stand in awe of the God who inspired it. And that is what we must remember: as beautiful and as meaningful as Notre Dame was, in the end it was just a building. And the Spirit of God does not dwell in a building, He dwells in the hearts of men.

So I ask: for all the beauty and history of Notre Dame, was it serving its purpose? Did it remind men to glorify God and face their eyes towards the eternal? Or had it become just another familiar monument, a tourist attraction largely taken for granted when not being used for photo ops? Surely, given the sad state of France and the rest of (what we can currently barely consider) Christendom, we must regretfully admit that while the building endured for 850 years, Notre Dame was destroyed in the hearts of Western men many years ago. But now Notre Dame has burned, and perhaps the flames will serve as the cathedral's final glorious service to God, by igniting a heretofore forgotten zealous faith in the hearts of men who had grown cold. A revival of the Christian faith in Europe could very well rise from the ashes of its greatest monument. Out of the darkness; light.

Such are God's ways.

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” - Romans 8:18

Ines Madina is one of three women allegedly involved in a foiled plot in 2016 to blow up a car packed with gas canisters near the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris; Ines Madani, 22, was sentenced following a three-day trial during which she was accused of encouraging would-be jihadists to go to Syria and participate in attacks against France between March 2015 and June 2016
Judge Desprez said that Madani was “recruited” by Oumar Diaw, also known as Abou Barrou, an influential jihadist of the Islamic State group.

Mere days ago!

This sneaky jihadist female was one of the two legal wives of the dreaded (and supposed dead, or not) Senegalese terrorist Oumar Diaw, aka Baroo Baroo, who used to militarily train "French" children back in Syria.

The fire started at 6:50pm. According to Google, closing time is 6:45pm. That's a mighty coincidence.

RE: Another Day in Paris: Notre Dame is Burning

God would not destroy something unless it has been corrupted or he needed something new. Satan destroys whatever is necessary to raise his kingdom. The question here is which side did this. If it was God, then you are correct. If it was not God, then we are in for a bumpy ride.
