Even then, the rings are vastly over priced. I completely fail to understand why I can buy a sterling silver ring for $20, but an identical ring made of gold costs thousands - there isn't that much gold in it. Never ran into a jewellery store employee who could explain it to me; they're just there to sell junk to suckers. Pretty sure the same thing would happen to me if I ever walked into a car dealership looking for a new car, and asked them to explain why an SUV was called an Armada - is it a flotilla of ships?

Consumerism, man. If I meet another girl, I'll likely look in to independent jewellers to see if they can make something for a reasonable price.

Most princess day elements ultimately have no inherent meaning. "Something borrowed, something blue". Throwing the bouquet. Throwing rice etc.
As for rings. The best part is when the chick turns her nose up at manufactured diamonds.
Cause a natural carbon rock is somehow more worthwhile than a manufactured, yet shinier carbon rock...

It was the original organic movent

I hope nobody would even consider this disgusting option even if it were free. It embodies the same reckless disregard for the natural order (or if you'd prefer, gods will) that sodomites and barren old cat ladies have.

It's nauseating enough hearing "I'd like to have children someday, but I just haven't found the right man yet" from 35+ women, it's even worse coming from supposedly red-pill men.

Sure, it's easy to judge others but everyone has different ages/circumstances... perhaps you can extrapolate your point further with reasoned discussion...

Men also have a biological clock - and a lot of men are running out of time. Some men are in completely lopsided dating markets (supply vs demand) where there are enough suitable white women and they want to have a child that looks like them (logos and natural order). Some men have only two options:
1. Not have any offspring and let his bloodline die out forever.
2. Pay a surrogate to have a child, and then in due time form a relationship with a woman who raises the child as her own... there are lots of older childless women out there who'd love to be a mother.

Between only those two options, I'd pick the latter.

Essentially, they will require you to sacrifice yourself, which means that they will potentially be taken care of if the marriage were to fail. That is the whole risk.

Interesting. I do agree some women may make such a non-negotiable... but those women are usually the higher value younger ones with options...

I think this "no-marriage no-kids" is only as non-negotiable as a woman's options. Women who are over 30 years old in the west are hitting the wall, hopping off the carousel and have dried up ovaries... I wouldn't knock that up, personally... but I think they could at least provide a womb for a man in the west who can't make it to the east to do the baby-mama hunting... women might talk tough and say they wouldn't do it, but in reality they are open to this... they don't have many options left and the clock is ticking - tick tock nature always wins.

In the east - where women tend a be little bit more down-to-earth with the realities of life I have met a variety of women who are open to the idea of a symbolic marriage only LTR (no legal marriage contract) & having babies...

I am currently negotiating the following as part of the agreement:
- Financial assistance e.g. child support at on-going intervals per each baby.
- As much father-to-child bonding time that the father wants (for the initial years I would likely be living outside of the country and be visiting the babies 3-6 months per year).
- I've made it clear that after the children reach age 5 (starting primary school) or age 12 (starting high school) I could be open to the idea of the child and baby-mama (and perhaps babushka?) move to my western country or vice versa I move to their country or perhaps not change anything.

(05-03-2019 06:43 PM)travolta Wrote:  I generally don't think marriage is worth it, but the main benefits I see are tax benefits, and if 1 person dies the other person gets their stuff. My aunt was with a man for many years, and when the man died she got nothing of his and her partner's children screwed her over. They were together for many years and had a great relationship, so it's pretty unfortunate she got nothing. If they were married she'd have inherited his house and money.

Actually through taxation laws, the government is actively promoting single motherhood. Using Canadian tax laws I can show you how the government is actively promoting it (Canadian tax laws generally they are similar to every other western nation)

First thing I have noticed is how child tax benefits are made just to promote single mothers and certain voting blocs just to reproduce but not hard workers who actually contribute to the system. Having a discussion with my older brother, he broke down how stupid the system is. My brother and my sister-law work full time and are raising a wonderful family. They both work but because they are over a certain income bracket (they would be middle class) they do not receive any benefits. However our accountant showed how my sister in law would get all the benefits if she separated from my brother. Instead of promoting a family unit, the government is trying to destroy hardworking families and promote single motherhood. Of course the total income of a family will be higher than that of an individual yet they still follow the same tax bracket laws of an individual (the brackets only change slightly).

Another way the government laws destroy the family unit is because of child support. I remember a thread whether to raw dog or not but guys if you get a girl pregnant you are financially screwed. Yesterday I hung out with a friend and he explained to me his pregnancy scare. It was a false alarm but he was terrified. So we both joked around on how much income he would lose and I wondered how much would you actually pay out. Basically this system is made to ruin a man financially. By using the calculator you can calculate the income someone has to pay. Using a 50k income I saw 2 things. First child support is calculated on your pre-taxed income. So you will be forced to pay on money that the government takes away from you too. Second I realized how your child support payments go up as much as your income increases. Wait! Shouldn't child support payments be so that the child has an adequate life and his needs are met? Using the 50k income as a base you pay around 450 a month. I feel like for one child; the cost of food, clothing and entertainment is met really well with this. However if you make a 100k then the monthly payment doubles as well. So it costs 900 dollars a month to raise a child? I do not like to swear but this is the most fucked up thing I learned. The government is actively trying to hurt a man even if he able to achieve success. A set child payment would make sense. Not only this but the female would be able to get this support AND still get child tax benefits from the government. Yes child support is not a taxable income. This is just madness. It gives anyone all the more reason just to leave their spouse or never even get one in the first place.

There is a little tax benefit for the male to stay together but there are much more tax benefits for the female to separate

It's cause jewellers here charge whatever they can get away with, and people are brainwashed with the "2 months salary" marketing BS and basic bitch buying into it being the social norm.

I know a guy who went with his future wife to Tiffany's, they "selected" a ring they liked for the style, and then had an jeweller in India make a copy of it for 40% of the cost and a large carat diamond to boot.

It's another industry based on bullshit.

That said, if you don't get the wool pulled over your eyes, it can be used as a litmus test to see if a girl is an attention-whore gold digger or actually worth marrying.
