I may delete blog posts. I have taken 11 books out of print so far.

Should he burn that money he made in sin too? Or is that an acceptable hypocrisy in Christianity?

It will be interesting to see where the folks active in the player community will migrate off to, as Roosh has made it clear such discussions will no longer be welcome here.

I would hope that all old content would stay, perhaps relegated to a subforum. That being said, Roosh is putting his money where his mouth is, by withdrawing his old books from sale. No matter what, the things he has learned along the way on women, relationships, and the such, will stay with him.

Godspeed.

Thanks Kaotic for sharing these great points

The group of guys that nurtured this space up from the early days have largely graduated out of the forum and are no longer as active as things have changed. However, the new audience is in as great a need as ever of red pilled wisdom on the way to whatever relationship with women they have. Would be a shame to remove the valuable knowledge and deprive new audiences of these very relevant learnings. Straight up banning topics is a real drag.

(05-23-2019 03:16 PM)kaotic Wrote:  Not happy at all about these rule changes. (Hear me out)

Clearly this is selfish thinking on my part and I fully admit it but I'm going to keep things real.

I'll simply say this about the Roosh's changes - ya'll have to remember this dude has been through ALOT of shit.

From the media demonizing him, being detained, threatened (his family also), and having to watch his sister die in one of the worst ways possible.

None of us know what's going through his head.

When Roosh took the white pill earlier, it was only natural it was going to affect the forum sooner or later.

Embracing a religion in a time of need or when something traumatic happens isn't my bag, but neither is religion since it has it own hypocrisy and faults.

Religion can do some amazing and terrible things to a person.

This is a spiritual journey and a leap of faith, compared to logical step.

As long as it isn't pushed on others, I'm cool with that, unfortunately the new rules are going to do this along with censoring the conversation.

I understand this is a private forum, I'll respect that decision to change.

However this forum was much "ours" as well with fantastic posters and their amazing goldmine posts.

In this case you might as well start a new forum with a clean slate, just like you would when finding god and salvation. (Whorehouse into a church example)

One of my favorite things to do on this forum is help fellow men be able to do good with women.

It didn't matter if it was a ONS, plate, GF, fiance, or wife.

Men deserve to be in the know, be aware, and how to handle themselves in any given situations, not just relationships.

To not have this forum as a tool, is handicapping the good men who just want to find a good woman.

I love giving back so much because this forum helped me so much when I found it in 2013 after I dumped a girl that I was in a one sided relationship with.

I have to side with the men arguing that in this day and age, if you don't know how to deal with women outside of marriage, your marriage is fucked from Day 1.

Restricting the conversation to only marriage or an LTR isn't going to do men a favor by putting the cart before the horse.

It also goes against male human biology to not want fuck multiple women and sow your seed. (Not advising you blast in very single girl).

The dudes on here "shaming" players are morons, there's plenty of guys out there happy and single. It's not a life of degeneracy.

Don't play that holier than thou bullshit.

If you're not happy, that's your OWN damn fault for not building a life that makes YOU happy, PERIOD.

Doesn't matter what your age is.

Don't be mad because you didn't get your shit together and a girl didn't touch your pee pee.

I must be the old blood on here, ironically I've been working on my career and body, I've made great strides in both.

I've dropped some plates, I haven't been on dates or new notches in the last few months, because pussy is pussy.

I've actually taken an interested, well maybe a daydream about locking down a legit woman - but I'm working on myself first - priorities.

Then again, there's nothing llike chasing down new pussy and meeting new and exciting women.

Unfortunately with these changes I predict there will be an exodus of members from the forum and/or less posting with the new rules.

For the ones who leave, I suggest you archive your work or posts that are you commandments, get other forum members contact info, make your own tribes, etc.

I've met alot of great men on here, some I'd call close friends and we continue to have meet ups regardless of what changes on here.

What I do urge you guys to remember is there's guys that were just like us who are looking for help to better themselves and better themselves with women.

Now more than ever they NEED a forum like us.

I just hope we aren't going to start deleting thousands of posts that contained gold from valued members.

Vae Victis

You won't support a man trying to change for what he truly believes is better unless there is something in it for you?

Correct. This happens all the time, just look at politics as an example. When somebody suddenly changes their views you stop supporting them. Look at Donald Trump as an example. He sold us the dream when he was running for president, got elected and is now a massive fuckup.

Of course Roosh can (and should) do what he wants, but I have no more reason to continue supporting his work if I don't believe in it. Roosh's past work has helped me out, but I don't have any allegiance to him. He obviously knew he'd get reactions like this before he posted this thread. I respect him for standing up for what he believes in, but it's no longer aligned with my beliefs.

I used to support RSD a lot when they were new to the pickup scene. You won't find me supporting them anymore. Same concept here.

Is Roosh trying to get forgiveness from the degenerate society that exiled him in the first place, now that he's ready to take on an LTR and start a family?

Did the hate finally get to him and he's ready to surrender? Is this what it is, disguised as a religious motive?

Save a few threads that resonate with you.
Wipe the forum in its entirety.
Create a new one from scratch with the new rules, and crosspost the threads from step 1 that you saved.

Would be the best way to handle this IMO.

Sometimes you've got to throw your hat over the fence. If you try to force your new direction to coexist with the old material and community it'll end like reaxxion.

If you think being Christian gives you forgiveness from society you couldn't be further from truth.

On a selfish level, this is great. I came back to christ last year, and am not in the slightest bit interested in pump and dump or anything beyond looking for a serious relationship that leads to marriage and children.

Degeneracy is promoted EVERYWHERE these days. I feel this is a solid and wholly positive contribution by Roosh to redress that here. Good for him. If we lose a bunch of horny twats and lowlifes, then we'll be better off for it anyway.

I understand that you created the forum, Roosh, and I will forever be greatful for the information it's given me, the men I've met and the person it has lead me to become.

But consider this:

Quote:Our members have made a total of 1,936,544 posts in 64,413 threads.
We currently have 41,342 members registered.

This forum was a culmination of the tens of thousands of men, the hundreds of amazing personalities that came and went over the years, and the things that we all went through as a community (the meetups, the tour you did, personal meetups, etc.).

The years of knowledge this forum possesses, the conversations we've had about all topics under the sun, and the shared experience, advice, etc. that has been dropped eclipses everything on the internet by light years.

To me, this forum was about being a better person. Yes, there was debauchery and discussions about stupid stuff, but on the whole, it was about becoming the man you wish you always were, because many men are lacking that in today's society. It differentiated so much from the one dimensional pick up artist bullshit, that's why I loved it. We were building each other up to live the best life possible.

Everything you go through builds you into the man that stands before the world today, and this forum will forever be a part of that for me.

As they say, all good things come to an end.

If Roosh wanted to start from a clean slate and disassociate from this forum's content, I'm sure some cats here would pass a hat around to keep this community going as well, perhaps by migrating the content.

Of course, that's up to him.

Sloth? Dodgy You're not serious, are you? Roosh has published tons of articles, maintained 2 websites and written many books (plus many podcasts, that takes preparation and commitment).

It's hard work, to write, you know. For example, French author Balzac used to tell how painful and tiresome it is to write books, so much so that Balzac only wrote when he was short on cash. Just to say that being a writer is hard work indeed.

The real sloth, it's what 60% of the people in the Western World do: seat their asses in a cubicle in some stupid company and do some useless "marketing" job or some for 1600 usd per month.

False lazy (and boring) office jobs are all over the place, in the West (like in the past, in the USSR) - half of the people don't even really know what is their job actually useful for: https://www.gallup.com/workplace/236567/...dvice.aspx

On the other hand, auto-entrepreneurs like Roosh are never lazy. They fight to survive day after day.

Now, concerning the change in the forum rules, well... Idea Maybe best thing would be, split the forum in 2?. One part for the young men, who need to have a certain number of girlfriends, to learn about life. And another Forum part for older men who need to find a suitable wife to have children and protect civilization.

RE: NEW RULES: Casual sex and hooking up can no longer be discussed on the forum
Well, all things must come to an end.

The forum has died.

I remember in the beginning when you could easily catch up on a whole day's worth of posts in ten minutes, when there was only a game and travel subforum. I was a 28 year old virgin with poor social skills and I was just devouring all the cool info on this forum, this forum and Bang were just so enlightening.

I had breakups and bad approaches and bad days but I knew I could come to this forum and someone on here would give me a comforting/inspiring message or send me a pm that would rev me back up. I also got a lot of help with business and career stuff, although not all of my plans panned out, the advice made my falls in life a heck of lot less painful.

Gradually I saw this forum turn more to political venting, and the volume of posts grew and grew until I found it impossible to keep up to date with every single thread; but though I didn't particularly like the occasional direction the forum was going, the beating heart of this forum, the game section, always seemed to pull the forum back from becoming a bunch of grumpy men shouting past each other.

Having married and dealing with a very active 1 year old, I simply haven't had the time to be as involved in this forum as I once was, which is a pity, because I love this place. Much of the success I have achieved at this stage of my life I can trace to advice I've taken or read on this forum.

Without an uncensored game/fornication section, this forum will basically die. Maybe it will rise up from the ashes and continue as a forum, but it will not be the same. It just won't have the prevailing headwind that kept the ship on a certain course, the course will change now.

So here's to Roosh, to the forum, and to all the guys that made this incredible place where a lame blue-pilled socially-awkward virgin came to discover how to get laid, get paid, and eventually somehow get married, on his own terms. Rest in Peace old Rooshvforum, may you continue to be as awesome in your new incarnation that Roosh wants to take you in, but if not, damn, thanks for the ride!

This forum is actually one of the most wholesome places around. There may be some lust in it, true, but it also offers a refreshing absence of gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride compared to other forums that are full of fat, jealous, frustrated and angry beta men, women and trannies. You would be hard pressed to find a more balanced community anywhere; that's why for me it would be a stretch to say that this forum leads men to sin. Quite the opposite, in fact!

When all is said and done, this forum actually encourages virtue.

To all you guys who think the forum will be dying:

This place isn't going anywhere. It's going to evolve into something that's honest and congruent with the needs of healthy relationships and modern men.

We first demanded, "No Hymen, No Diamond" and when the world rebuked us we went back to, "Enjoy the Decline". Roosh's writings have spread the message of how to suss out bad quality women but in the same vein we also ruined good quality ones who would have made great wives with a strong and steady man.

We're armed and ready with what makes men attractive. It's time to stop indulging in the fruits of carnal desire and grow to the next level with healthy physically and spiritually. Being the example for others is the right step forward.

I am looking forward to the future for this forum.

No one will give anyone any examples. In the grand scheme of things all this stuff is cyclical. Marriage is not working and cannot work, otherwise it would not have collapsed. Strong men are born, not created or educated. Weak men never catch up for the lost time, never gain enough experience, are always in danger of being outed for what they really are by their women. Subscribing to the rules of strong men is simply not an option for weak men. Weak men must scheme and enforce their own rules, which are not patriarchy and not feminism, but the will of Dionysus, who was a dying and resurrecting God long before that jealous usurper Roosh now praises.

As much as I think this is not the best solution for all involved, this really is one case where the whole "make your own platform" argument is appropriate.

The question is whether anyone from the forum cares enough to keep it going.

RE: NEW RULES: Casual sex and hooking up can no longer be discussed on the forum
Roosh, will you still allow discussions about female nature, and what creates attraction (in general)?

Meaning the creating-attraction discussion is not explicitly for pre-marital sex nor marriage; there is no indication of what happens beyond the attraction.

What about social dynamics, psychology, desires?

If we refrain from scatological/pornographic language, and remain value-neutral about the intend outcomes, does that fit with your letter of law?

[again, "attraction" in this sense means like/respect/interest/curiosity/attention (applicable to friendship, love, sales, etc), rather than "overwhelming urge to engage in sterile fornication"]

I’m leaving this place in peace, it helped me grow and take (digestion was on my own) redpill, but this goes over my Czech nature.

I always believed that religion is a cool way how to control masses and bluepilled Betas and that redpillers will use commandements as a guide not a dogma but I was mistaken.

Still I’m not leaving with hate it’s just time to move on after this place is in direct contradict with reality and sanity.

Cheers on and up my fellow men, even in disagreement we are brothers.

RE: NEW RULES: Casual sex and hooking up can no longer be discussed on the forum
Maybe this is a chance to finally get rid of all the autists and desk heroes. Start fresh some other place with those who have proven to contribute and re-energize the most important part of what this place was about: actual meetups and creating lasting bonds between men who share ideas and values. Many of those men also left or became inactive because of the direction this forum has taken. Others because they grew older and no longer identified with some of the ideas or with the average person on the forum or simply because they had read it all. Without a doubt, the quality of both the posts and the average poster has gone down. The trust between members is no longer the same, leading to people preferring to share info in closed chat groups instead of posting it here. Perhaps this will be a step towards a new community where some of these guys might return and the level might rise again, with increased real-life bonding between men as a result.

Nevertheless, even if that might happen, it leaves a bitter aftertaste. Roosh might have created this platform, but this forum is much more the result of the thousands of valuable contributions of all people on here than it is his work. He provided us with a book with perhaps a first chapter written, but all the following chapters were written by many other great authors. To then take a stance and go fully against the very ideas on which this forum is built is one thing, but if this results in censorship and even worse deleting material that others have provided, then that would be selfish. Using the power you were given to destroy the very base of what made you become the man you are now. You say you lead men into 'sin', but you are not responsible for the actions of the members here. We are men, not children, we choose what we read, what we write and how we incorporate ideas in our daily lives.

People change sure, move ahead with your life, write other books about other ideas, create topics or a (sub) forum on religion, etc, but don't try to change something which has become much bigger than what you yourself started. I, like many others, bought your whole catalog of books only to support you in your struggles after the backfire of your free speech. I've not even read the books. It was about supporting the ideology behind your struggle. If you no longer support that ideology of free speech in the first place (to a reasonable extent) and men making their own decisions for a better life, then at least don't burn the castle you built because of it. Take a step aside, take your time to reflect and respect different viewpoints. Act like a brother, not as a tyrant. There are many forums where religion is discussed and debated, but there are not many forums like this one.
