An Oldie, But Newbie
Hey everybody,

My background:

Early 30's, black african-american male, 5'10, a little overweight. My game is SUPER rusty. It's basically non-existent.

I have been on the forum for quite awhile, but not really active. I am trying to change that, but with things about to change around here and being unable to talk about certain things, I don't know yet. That is fine. I just needed to get this out. I titled this oldie, but newbie because I even though I have been a member on here for a while, it's like I still need a lot of improvement. I have gained so much insight from reading various topics on here. I have learned so much about game from Roosh and many others. I have really liked reading red-pill critiques of things in pop culture and society in general from various members like the threads by member 2Wycked. I never knew there was so much narcissism in film, music, and tv. lol I also have gotten a lot of laughs from this place. I will never forget the guy that started the whole "Is this beta?" thing. lol I have to mention the "travel" thread. It has helped me do some much research when it comes to the couple of places that I have been to, places that I want to go to, and getting my geography down in general. lol I can't forget about the "black man game options" thread by Moma and Rudebwoy which is worth it's weight in gold. As a black man, that thread has been very valuable to me.

Unfortunately, I have done what a lot of people do. They get the knowledge, but never take any action. I said I have to cut that shit out. Like I said, I'm in my early 30's and it's like I haven't done shit with my life. I don't like to complain because I know I can change things. I need to get my shit together. I was debating on making this one of those improvement threads like others have done on here, but I don't want to do that. I may just do updates every couple months or so. I feel with the every day or every few day improvement updates, nothing much happens. Above all, I just wanted to say that I appreciate that this forum exist. Everyone that is reading this should feel the same. I hate to see the bullshit and drama that happens on here sometimes. It seems that will come to an end soon.

This forum has everything you need to improve your life. People need to stop worrying about the petty shit and get their finances, health, and overall life in order. Of course, the women will fall in your lap as result of getting your shit together. I will give one tip, if you are feeling like shit or need some perspective then go travel somewhere for a little bit. Don't take a week or two trip. Try to go for a month or two if you can. If not, then do the two weeks if that's all you can do. Also, go to a place where the culture and language is different from yours. I went to Colombia where I don't speak any Spanish and culture is very different from the states. This helped me give me some insight on what to do in life. I just need to take action.

Take a look at my post about my trip to Colombia in The Colombia Master Thread:

I also want to put this video of a show Tom Leykis did about how friends and family hold you back. It's a really good listen. I was feeling everything he was saying. Someone else posted on it on here before, but I wanted to refer to it because it definitely needs to be heard. Roosh has also touched on how everybody including family and friends want you to fail. Here is the video:

The Tom Leykis Show - Your Friends and Family Hold You Back:

As I stated earlier, a lot of guys really need to focus on getting their finances right. I know a lot of guys really want to be location independent whether it be owning their own business or working remotely. Here is a link to a thread I posted about money making online links and threads I have came across:

Making Money Online Links and Threads for 2019 and Beyond:

I know there are a lot of guys on here who are making money online, but I know there are a lot who are still trying to figure out. Hell, I'm trying to figure it out myself. I hope these links can be a good starting point. These are links I have collected over the last couple years. I have used any of the info myself, but maybe someone can get something out of them.

I would like to thank Roosh for making this amazing community. I would also like to thank all the others(too many to name) who have contributed GREAT info to this forum. Thanks for reading this post. I really appreciate it. Please feel free to comment or ask any questions. Take care.
