The Serbian man's telephone call caused Lufthansa's flight LH1411 to be evacuated on Thursday before its take-off from Belgrade to Frankfurt.
All 130 passengers and five crew members had to leave the aircraft while it was searched by a special police squad and sniffer dogs.
The man, who has not been named, had met two flight attendants and invited them for dinner, but they refused.

He confessed to the hoax in court on Saturday, saying he had especially liked one of the women and after he failed to track her down at her hotel, he made a desperate bid to keep her in the country.
The police traced his call after he made the threat and he was arrested a day later.

A spokesman for the prosecutor told Serbian media that the prosecution asked for him to be kept in custody pending charges of causing panic and disorder.

On Thursday, Serbia's interior ministry released a statement about the incident, which said: "This morning at 6am an unknown person called and reported there was a bomb on the plane bound for Frankfurt.
"The police are investigating whether it is a false alarm and are also working to identify the person who called."
Passengers had an eight-hour delay to their journey after the hoax, with some booking alternative flights rather than wait for their plane to leave.

Crazy story: I was a crewmember on a flight getting ready to pushback and I saw a bunch of overweight TSA agents running to the gate through the cockpit window. Turns out the xray scans of checked baggage saw a suitcase with a fake bomb in it. I saw the scan printout and it looked legit but had the word bomb written on it. They arrested the passenger, who was a fit guy in a nice suit, and we went on our way and never heard about it again. It also happened to be Valentine's Day... we couldn't decide if it was a pissed off wife that fucked him over or an undercover agent testing the system on official duty.

Salla was arrested after the plane made an emergency landing in Ahmedabad, 483 miles (778km) from its intended destination.

At the time, he was having an extra-marital affair with an air stewardess from Delhi.

Salla had reportedly asked her to move to Mumbai but she refused, and by defaming the airline, he hoped she would lose her job and be forced to move in with him instead.

An investigator told news agency AFP that whilst Salla did not commit a hijacking, placing a threatening letter still qualifies as an attempted hijacking under Indian law.

From the fine, each of the aircraft's pilots will receive 100,000 rupees for the "misery undergone by them," the judge ruled. Every air hostess will also receive 50,000 rupees, and each passenger 25,000 rupees.

Salla's lawyer, Rohit Verma, said he would appeal against the decision.

Jet Airways, once India's second-largest airline, suspended all domestic and international flights earlier this year after running into financial difficulty.

As amusing as it is to send a bomb threat in order to be able to get with women, it's actually quite sad.

It confirms the fact that there are many naive blue pill men in Serbia. It also proves that life in Serbia is still so difficult that people are actually desperate enough to do edgy and reckless by doing things like calling in bomb threats on planes for a chance to get with women. It only makes sense in a country where people currently earn 500 Euros on average per month, violence is socially acceptable and people see war up close and personal at least every 2 generations, if not, literally nearly every single generation after another ...
