Night game and dealing with the loud noise
I didn't pay attention to it much when I used to go out years back but these days it is getting to me more and more. While I do prefer a nice rooftop with a chill vibe, in my city a lot of the bars and places loaded with high volume and ones I had the best luck with getting a SNL have been loud. People packed closely, music blasting to deafening volumes, and having to scream at people so they can hear you.

What are some ways you guys have managed to get adjusted or feel at home in these sorts of places?

Anything you guys use to make it easier for you to game in these sorts of places?

Bars are intentional about turning up the noise. Less talking, more drinking. It helps the bottom line.

It might not be you. I wouldn't be surprised if bars have gotten louder over time to increase profits.

I got less bites, but I would go outside and hang around the entrance more often. I'd also go as far as wearing earplugs too; it reallly helped me with the excess sensory input.

Earplugs work at clubs to an extent but escalating over loud music and alcohol is challenging unless there is physical chemistry heightened by dancing

RE: Night game and dealing with the loud noise
Good question. Here's a few points of advice.

1) When at these types of spots, try to stay close to the bar rather than camping out on the dance floor, with occasional breaks in the smoking area (most venues should have one). Not only will this help with the excessive noise, since the bar area is usually at least a little quieter than the dance floor, but these are also by far the best sections to meet girls. Dance floor game works for a small subset of the population, the rest of us are usually better served avoiding it for the most part.

2) The best way to game in these places is to remember that your presentation (style, body language, tone) and escalating via physical contact are all far more important than what you actually say. The point isn't for her to hear what you say. It's for her to gauge your overall vibe and for you to keep moving the interaction forward. When its so loud that you have to scream, just smile confidently and switch it over to physical escalation. You'd be surprised how often this can work.

Also, these are the types of places that tend to get going later at night, so your time at them should be somewhat limited. I try to avoid spending more than 2 hours at any one bar unless it is awesome. Clubs are different, but for those I make an exception Banana

Yep. The "mainstream" nightlife spots are often pseudo clubs with loud music to drown out the large throngs of people talking among themselves. Usually there's also a small dancing area to the accomodate the girls who often think they have dancing ability. This is common in the US.

I only go to places with loud music if I'm dancing salsa since those locations are more conducive to a guy who goes out alone (almost always in my case), although I will say that basic white women are often intrigued when I say that I can dance salsa. It's one of those "shiny objects" that peaks their interest somewhat. And my salsa dancing ability can translate well into "mainstream" environments in the right situations but those places are still hard for me without a wing.

Rarely had an issue with noise levels in clubs. You're not going to a club for deep and meaningful conversations, try bars for that. Otherwise just isolate them in a quieter area or outside

When in doubt fall back on the fundamentals. For nightclubs "I have some great coke back at mine" is a classic

RE: Night game and dealing with the loud noise
All this stuff was good but I am starting to think it is just me. I find game a lot easier at a lounge or a place I can hear at. When I do feel like going to these places to party and game at though, I am considering earplugs or some alternative to it. Swear they legit try to make you deaf with the way they play the music, being wasted is the only way you can deal with the noise sometimes.

Maybe age is catching up to me, turning 26 in a few months and now I know why so many of these places are stacked with college kids and early 20s lol.

Your username probably says it all, you're perhaps the person who is more comfortable sitting in your local pub, supping dark ale, talking to the barman and stroking his dog.

26! Lol

These are good if you're going to a loud place. They're discreet, so nobody will notice you're wearing earplugs. http://downbeats.com

Do you think these would work in a loud, open plan office? My office work often requires a lot of concentration but I find the background noise (women cackling, gossiping and shouting at the telephone) so distracting

Try shooter's earmuffs from a gun store. Worked for me in a "temporary" open office during a shuffle. I kept them, fortunately, as the Philippines is extremely loud compared to America. Now I often wear them for sleeping, dining out, and watching the full moon rise over the Vasayan Sea. My best $50 investment ever.

I don't like bars/clubs with loud music. My game is all talking, cracking jokes, making observations. I love dancing and all, but I think it's risky to escalate physically with random, unvetted chicks at bars in 2019. If this were 10 years ago, I'd be all for it.
