Sure - if you are aware of the big picture, then you avoid it unless there are no other options in your life. But many men like the adventure, excitement, some love flying. And up until recently it was a masculine endeavor - before it became a diversity-gender circus.

There's extremely pragmatic reasons to join it. Signing up as an officer in a non-combat role is generally an excellent way to get started for people who don't have access to more of an upper crust university branding.

In the non-combat roles you get some excellent resume experience at a much higher level than you would in typical corporate jobs and access to the "veteran mafia" that can open doors into places you would normally need to be a Harvard type to have a shot at.

I don't recommend letting anyone pull you into any combat role with the exception of being a fighter pilot (because I've personally witnessed the "cool" factor allowing people to waltz their way into Wall Street jobs that way).

I met 2 fighter pilots who were pacifists, but loved flying so much that they signed up for that. Nothing beats those machines if you want to experience high-intensity flight. They said that if a billionaire offered them a job flying combat-jets without waging war, then they would have done that instantly.

Other guys loved being outdoors, were born hunters, cherished the sound and eerie experiences of 30 trucks and tanks being started at 0600 o'clock in the morning in the middle of some woods. That guy later did a military-funded MBA and became a manager since he signed up early and was out in his 30s on a pension.

Another bloke had little choice and used navy scholarships, worked at a submarine, hated it, later did his bare minimum and became a lawyer also in his 30s - now happy as a family man.

Half of those guys know about the negative nature of the globohomos, but they did it for their own reasons and none were connected with wanting to bomb Iraq or even believing those lies. All of them if born wealthy however would not have joined, so it's not exactly an idealistic choice - rather a best-choice scenario with what they wanted to achieve in life.

My friend is an Army recruiter. They actually have a form where you write your birth gender and current gender separately.

So if a man writes female... does he get female barracks lodging? At OCS where its two to a room is he alone with a female? Group showers? Female fitness standards? Can he take maternity leave?

Honk Honk.
