Roosh, I appreciate all the work you have put in for men over the years. If you are able to keep the game and travel sections open for viewing by members in the future as you have it set now it is greatly appreciated.

Yes. No rules were changed today.

Perhaps including a [Politics] tag to topics will help people know which threads have a post count limit to them?

Quote:* Food for thought. Why was it just accepted that the media removed comments sections when commenters got too critical of their work? It would never have been tolerated if department stores or restaurants stopped allowing customer feedback. Ironically, such companies have expanded their customer service sectors while the media has sequestered itself from public scrutiny. Forget the biased articles and activist reporters. This alone should tell you the media is about pushing an agenda, not reporting news. In no other realm can companies shut out the public.

It wasn't just "accepted." That's why https://dissenter.com/ was created. It's awesome to see people comment on a random (((AssociatedPress))) article and tear it apart.
Dissenter is a real treat. It's basically a mix of here and 4chan, but with a more direct focus on attacking or discussing current events. I love it there.

(09-25-2019 12:41 AM)aeroektar Wrote:  There's been very little productive discussion here over the last couple years regarding dating, self improvement, and travel, because its all been said again and again. Nobody learns anything valuable from threads like "Instagram and why the world is fucked in 2019" which has been the overwhelming attitude. Combined with the recent trend of encouraging negativity, the atmosphere turned overly toxic.

This is the reality of it and the same reason I never visit r/trp anymore. As the months and years go on the echos in the echo chamber get further away and theres barely any good discussion you can hear. I think this is partly due to threads such as the one you point out, "Instagram and why the world is fucked in 2019", since we have ran out of things to discuss that isn't beating a dead horse at this point. Years and years of game and dating advice can be found here, r/trp, etc etc. But its almost becoming a joke to even try to go out and game. When every woman is on online dating/ social media/ sugar baby websites it makes it a toxic environment to try to grow in, at least here in america. But as you say we are then led to endless negative discussions which are sadly hard to avoid as the reality of the clown world sets in more and more every day.

It comes to a point where people are tired of re-answering the same basic questions over and over again when they can be easily searched, but the people asking want hand outs. People that want hand outs aren't people that are willing to put in the work anyways so it becomes a pointless cycle. Then there is a divide between many of us that have put in the work as evidenced at RVF where many of us are burned out from the player lifestyle and game and would like to possibly settle down or do something else and no longer need advice nor need to give it out on how to get women just to sleep with you. I also think many people in this corner of the web get caught up in the self help trap where even if they do learn something, they spend more time reading threads than ever going out and doing anything for their life.

At the end of the day if someone really wants to change, the archives are there. While losing resources is always sad, does a white man really need help to game in asia? If you can't pull that off with basic game resources youre already screwed. Replace x and y with whatever. Theres still tons of resources out there for that type of info like facebook groups and endless ex pat groups for meetups to any location you can think of. There are other forums and other avenues. If people want to learn and discuss they will find the places.

I am also glad Roosh chose to burn some dead wood as opposed to letting the forum slowly drift into doom and despair. Personally, I am excited for the future of the forum and think that new ideas will start growing here again.

I'm eagerly waiting until Roosh or one of us here cracks the matrix on the alternative of casual dating.
How is that even possible, I don't know, but I sure hope things would get better in the dating market.
At least we have the prior RP knowledge on women which might or might not help on that pursuit.
It may take another war to return to conservative roles like Simeon said on some thread however.

Quote:Any piece of dating advice you or anyone else will ever need will be in the archive. Things change but not that much, core principles will always apply.

If you look at Roosh's earlier books from the oughts and compare them to his recent "Game" there were some changes such as calling back within a day rather than 2 days for example. In addition, he also mentioned that Game was getting harder to do. I hypothesize this being a symptom of a society being even more distracted and self-centered with technology that girls will tend to forget a new man after more than 24 hours of meeting him.

So yes I agree that the basic principles will be the same but kids learning about Game in the future may need to compensate for future inventions (hyper tinder, "Narcy" selfie drones) that will make people be even more distracted and have even worse short-term memories.

Doba. That is fantastic advice. Truly a Post Of The Day

And yes I met several dozen such women in college and didn’t give them a chance but I wasn’t really ready to be dating any of them seriously anyways.

When you are out in the world it is very very different. I meet a lot of party girls who are fun but not someone I could ever date seriously for the most part

Hard times returns women to their natural roles. I stated the same thing myself. It was the conclusion I came to. Also, homogenization of cultures. Remove any that are counter culture to yours. A tribe mentality, but America needs to be a tribe more than ever.

Why delete it? It was very good material. Change names or remove details if that was it, but I didn't see anything like that.

Thanks.

I think it deserves its own thread. I'll repost a tightened-up/re-focused version of it on a slow news day. I think it needs to be in its own spot. Back in 2016 I'd posted an early version of it that people really seemed to like, but got deleted, so I wanna make sure the remake works on its own. Thanks again.

One day, Days of Broken Arrows posted a great story into a thread "Major forum changes". Then he decided it would be hotter having its own thread and deleted it. Now the post is gone and will never come back. Stick to your original thread, guys. Wink

You're in the minority then of people on the forum, no one seems to want to talk travel or finding women. Things are worse than an episode of Seinfeld, where nothing is talked about; to make matters worse, no one is acting, they are just theorizing. If this is a place to banter, that's fine, but if it's a place to act like men, then I endorse that with the stipulation that we incentivize men to be men, and hold them to account for their utterances or prove to us they are betterinig themselves. Believe it or not, men virtue signal, or as many call it: flex, all the time. It's bad behavior, and childish.

People who have sex outside marriage based on new site dogma are now sinners, so this is about 95 percent of Americans now. I must also conclude, despite what roosh said in the past about marriage, that now not being married is not acceptable based on the re-evaluation. So, as a Christian, my whole life, none of this evangelical strand that I see around me all the time where I live, to I get mad respekt from the forum because I've never had relations with my current g/f because she's saving it for marriage? Do we embrace incels because chastity is a virtue? We apologize to losers because they're not sinning, even though they would, if they could have that chance? So many questions...

The fact of the matter is only a small percentage of dudes have ever talked on this forum and others (truthfully) about having relations with women. Most guys post in politics, lie blatantly about game success or never travel abroad for foreign women.

You say people were banned for a reason, and I may be banned, without a single warning for saying this: but plenty of people get banned on here for flexing/ telling the truth about how awesome their lives are (and believe me RVF has plenty of awesome guys with cool lives, even though there is also a sizable contingent of certifiable losers who know nothing about life, politics, what have you) and hurting the egos of certain factions, despite the fact they broke no concrete rules.

It's a bit funny to be telling guys how to run their site. It's their site. I suspect in the future, we will have plenty of productive discussions on Christianity and the white pill here. You can always remain on this forum if that's of interest to you.

Dark Pool, I don't understand what that has to do with what I wrote. I was complaining about guys whose entire love life consists of going to Thailand and hiring hundreds of whores, then pretending to be paragons of success. That lifestyle may be understandable, of course - but it completely discredits any travel and game advice that they might provide.

I never even mentioned girlfriends, incels, sinners or whatever else your post is about.

Thanks Roosh for all the helpful content. While I am looking to build a healthy relationship with the right girl, I think the Game/Travel section still has useful tips on social skills and locations, which can be used to do good.

Thanks for keeping them available to us.

I second this and think keeping the politics subforum is a good idea. Even though it doesn't have many new threads, the few threads it has are really popular and it's very easy to find these threads all in one place, usually near the top. Just for convenience.

Everything Else can move pretty quickly with new threads popping up all over the place. The new merged EE might feel too 'crowded.'

Another point to consider is that Everything Else often has a 'fun' vibe, where as many politics threads are a bit more serious. Users that clicked the Politics subforum (or the old Deep Forum) did so because they were looking for a certain type of discussion.

As a minor last point, keeping politics threads in their previous subforum makes it easier for newbies not to violate the 50 post count requirement. Samseau's suggestion of a [Politics] tag is also a good idea.

Anyway, these very minor gripes about the lack of a Politics or 'Deep' subforum are just for the sake of convenience.

p.s. Didn't catch the DobA reply, but if it was about 'ground floor girls' I hope you post the story in another thread!

You can just report them and their posts if they are propagating sex for money. You can't expect the mods at STW (me included) to know the history of every guy who posted here before, especially since they change usernames.
