Warming up?
I feel like warming up is a crucial step in approaching during day/at night that is over looked. I find that if I dont start the day out with just making eye contact with people and smiling or saying hi or hello, my words aren't usually congruent with my body language. Just curious if anyone has any methods they do when they are trying to get in the "gaming" mind set, and to generally just feel more comfortable? I've found nutrition , uninterrupted sleep and exercising also helps me feel more relaxed and able to get into this mode easier.

RE: Warming up?
I agree 100%. It's like that with everything in life, preparation is key. Getting your mind right before going out can be the X factor that has you feeling good and your brain operating at peak performance instead feeling lethargic and sluggish. Getting a good night’s sleep, waking up early, gym, sauna, frigid cold shower, making small talk with cashiers, etc. That's been my routine and I've seen a noticeable increase in productivity at work (sales).

"Win the morning, win the day" - and if you win the day, you can win the night.

RE: Warming up?
No amount of warming up in this scenario will ever substitute for...

.. Being comfortable with yourself..

A.k.a confidence better known to us as inner game.

Starting with a workout makes sense but no amount of interaction with cashiers will help unless you turn it into a solid social interaction instead of "doing it for some purpose."

Not saying don't practice but most of the guys practicing social interactions here don't make this connection as they do.
