Not one of you folks have been to NYC in the 80's. Yeah, it's the new immigrants that are destroying our high trust America.... but who was bad policy and poor law enforcement?

When one talks about "In the USA you can see houses where there are mail packages left there even for about two weeks and nobody steals a thing there even though nobody is watching" people from central and south american countries generally become awed to hear such thing since such thing doesn't exist in central and south america.

Immigration from third world countries is evil, a way to break any good country, since third worlders bring the third world with them and the more that enter the worse it gets.

¡Oi!

Its the drivers. They know the spots without cameras. They call up a buddy who goes out and steals the good stuff.

If its not the drivers its Filipinos. My neighbors old as the hills aunt stole a package off my porch once. When confronted she was just like "because it was there" and had no shame at all. I said "so you just walked up and took it" and she said yes as though she just didnt get the concept of it being left for me. She felt it was her right to take it because they just left it there.

Aloha!

Some may think that Kona in his usual spirit is joking here. He's really not.

My wife's father is a very spanish man for a south american. Her mother is... well... very south american. This has given me a strong insight into how alien the thought processes of some people can be to others who mistakenly presume that someone doing something anti-social understands on some level that they're doing the wrong thing".

They don't. Their thought processes and moral programming literally reads "whatever is best for me in this particular moment is the right thing to do".

Another example is their insistence that something is not their fault, despite all evidence being to the contrary.

"It's not my fault."

"But you're drunk and don't have a drivers license and you ran a red light. Who caused the accident if not you?"

"Yeah, I understand what you're saying but it's not my fault."

They're not trying to be weaselly. They really believe it.

Most who've watched a season or two of Judge Judy understand that these people exist, and in worrying numbers.

God demands of Man responsibility. God demands of Woman vulnerability. These are their curse and blessing alike. Libertianism is to Man as Feminism is to Woman.

The are called sociopaths -- and society is now producing them at an accelerated rate. They are disproportionately drawn to political office.

They have a variety of traits, one of which you described:

"Irresponsibility/Unreliability: Not concerned about wrecking others' lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.

I wonder how many of these millions of packages that 'disappear' daily are actually cases where people fraudulently claim the package never arrived and file for a refund?

Good point.
Amazon asks very little confirmation (often none at all), when I claim my products are missing.

Just another example of how generic criminality is fostered by passing on the expense to the honest customers.
