Then I'll gently massage it in with my hands. I generally do this after my morning shower and before I go to bed at night. I take a bottle with me to the gym, and on workout days I'll add a third spray right after I clean up.

Do you rinse it off afterwards or leave it on?

I rub it in and leave it on. The smell isn't great (reminds me of sweaty gym socks), but it dissipates within an hour or so. I generally shower first thing after waking up, so by the time I get dressed and eat breakfast the smell is gone.

How exactly are you doing this?

Spreading some on your palms and massaging on face?

How long are you leaving it on?

I've heard about this being useful for acne, but I also know ACV is very strong and I want to avoid anything serious.

I use cotton pads which are mostly used for makeup removal. You can get them in any drug store.

If you have sensitive skin you should probably dilute it 30/70 with water and adjust upwards later if you feel like it. Soak a pad with it and apply it to your face and leave it on for 15ish minutes before rinsing it off.

I switch between pure vinegar and pure lemon juice, but only do it once a week as my skin doesn't like too frequent peelings. Your skin will feel very soft afterwards.

I think excessive vinegar consumption is likely to lead to acid reflux and will probably degrade the enamel of your teeth, unless you consume it without it touching your teeth.

There are lots of other supplements around for improving the imune system and green juicing should help equally well.

Can't you add baking soda or something to neutralize the acid first too? I believe I read somewhere that some people were doing that to protect their teeth.

That'd help, however I think the vinegar has some effect and it's not just the mother. If dental issues are the main concern then diluting the vinegar with plenty of water would be sufficient.

Go to iHerb.com and thank me later for having spent hundreds of dollars on supplements that you couldn't get before. Big Grin

Before I discovered them I used to have the same problem as you of not being able to get certain supplements, but they have really cheap shipping ($4 worldwide with DHL surface).

Make sure your order is below 400k riel ($98 right now) and you pay no cambo customs duties.

With some googling you can also find a coupon for $10 off for your first order + 5% off extra for orders above $60 if I remember right.

Its strange, but its harder to drink this stuff now than when I first started.

Im starting to wonder if the health benefits are worth trying to gag it down every night.

Mosquitoes are attracted to ACV.

Today I was pouring a shot of ACV and there were some fruit mosquitoes nearby...as soon as I poured the ACV they started to hover it. One of them them drowned trying to get himself some ACV.

It was a weird observation.

I mix ACV with organic apple juice now. It makes it easy to put it down.

The energy boost + no aches/pains is enough for me to be on this thing for good.

Would't the AJ make it more agonizing since it takes longer to drink it?

RE: Health: Apple Cider Vinegar
ACV is almost like a panacea for me; I used it to treat my severe heartburn around a year ago, since then I haven't had any underlying problems. Recently, I used it to get rid of a wart on my foot, and not too long ago I used it to get rid of allergies. I usually dilute it with around 2-3 tablespoons of ACV, and then I mix it with either water or tea. It is important to note that ACV is extremely acidic, and it has the ability to erode the enamel of your teeth - so it isn't a bad idea to use mouthwash or toothpaste afterwards.

Do you guys ever take a day off and STILL feel its effects the next day?

Like 48 hrs after I take it ill still feel that weird hot/cold surge of energy. Sometimes its pleasant, other times I just feel cracked out. I also drink a Monster every morning so perhaps the effects are co-mingling.

Straight shot ACV messes up my stomach. It's less agonizing if you're mixing with Organic Apple Juice (with 'pulp').

Also having that straight ACV shot burning down your throat can't be good over the long run. Dilutions make it tolerable.

I started swigging ACV with raw honey and my gallon of water a day. I got strep, gutted it out during a move, multiple jobs and partying. Just got antibiotics. Balled out at the korean farmers market with produce. Sharted my pants on the way to work today. Had to pull covert Jason Bourne maneuvers at a nearby Target to continue. Many milfs at the park were philandered.

It's been some week.

I don't know if it's that bad for you if you down the shot and immediately follow up with a glass of water. At most the acv is making direct contact with my esophagus and teeth for one second before a flood of water comes through.

Woke up feeling nauseous last night. Zombie-walked to the kitchen for some ACV. Guess what? Healed up in minutes and fell back to sleep like a baby. Thanks, ACV. Shy

This is your body telling you it doesn't want any. Take a break for a few days or so and see how it feels when you reintroduce it.

Were you drinking it like a shot as well?

I was doing this until I heard about the above effects. Lately I've been putting a shot's worth in a glass of water and drinking it the diluted way.

same thing happened to me when I added some water. I've switched over to using a straw.

We need to find a way to dilute the ACV, but that would make it less effective.

I see nothing in the chemical breakdown that would suggest anything would be lost through dilution. The same amount of acid ends up in your stomach, it just doesn't do as much damage on the way down, particularly to the throat, vocal cords and teeth. If Samseau can kill a Planter's Wart with it, I'd avoid drinking this undiluted, as the treatment for warts is regular application of acid that eventually makes them harden and drop off. Your throat is much softer and more sensitive than a wart.

My bottle suggests just a teaspoon, diluted in a cup of warm water. I've been drinking it through a straw for a couple of weeks just in the morning.

Difference so far after 3 weeks, addressing claims that have been made on here:

- Throat feels slightly-irritated at times, but it is Spring here, so it could be hayfever.

- No diarrhea. I'm regularly shitting 3 times a day instead of 1. Less bloating because of it, but kind of annoying having to shit that often for me.

- Moderate reduction in general aches and pains, but no major difference to arthritis when playing bass or riding the motorbike.

- Huge increase in hunger level, including pangs.

- Slight irritating / unpleasant feeling from the acidity when passing urine and ejaculating. Greatly reduced volume of ejaculate. I've gone from giving Peter North a run for his money to literally only doing a teaspoon. Feel emasculated. Has anyone had a girl comment on the taste if she swallowed? I'd hate to think the taste will turn them off.

- Boners no harder or more frequent than usual.

- Skin looks the same.

From all that, I'm tempted to give it up, except for this:

- after an unpleasant first four days with a huge spike in reflux, it seems to have settled down, to the extent where I'm very rarely getting gas or reflux coming up my throat. The last couple of nights, I've actually questioned if I even need my Nexium medications, because there's been no trace of pain. I'm going to try going without it for the next few nights.
