Last time I took a bus from Krakow to Lviv, the bus was some piece of shit from the 70s. No wifi. The border took about an hour and a half. The butch Ukrainian border guard chick gave me and my buddy a weird look like WTF are you doing here when she looked at our passports.

You can cross the border by foot. Train to Przemysl => minibus to the border from the train station => cross by foot => minibus to Lviv.

I did it and it's no big deal, a bit more adventurous in a good way, and cheaper. Also if you do it on Sunday - much less people.

Just make sure you check the schedules because minibuses to the border don't run in the late evening. Need to do the whole thing early.

I understand but we'll be coming from Warsaw. I checked bus tickets, its around 15 Euro. Does it get cheaper than that anyway?

I looked at Polski Bus. I hope there's wifi because it says it'll take 8 hours or so.

^ Probably not cheaper than 15 Euro, Polskibus to Przemysl is already about 8 Euro.

Living here in Lviv for 3 months now and It's the 10th country I've hit on a year-long walkabout. Rent is $150/month but I had to search a bit while staying at a hostel. Food is basically free, with the buffet running $4 for a massive feast. Sadly, I cannot comment on the night life, since day game is my thing. It's like a eyegasm all day, everyday. Expect extremely low approach rejection which is always polite. Overall, the 3 date wait is the norm for a bang, since Ukes are less loose than other countries. They tend to want that long-term relationship, since they all want to baby-up ASAP.

Rolling into a town for 3 days or even 3 weeks is best left to tourists. If you want the clubbing and big city, then by all means, go to Kiev but Belgrade is best for that stuff. I was lucky enough to meet many Ukrainians in my travels who all said Lviv is the soul of the entire country. As a general rule, the smaller the town, the less bitch shielding and other mental illnesses

Boredom is usually reflection of yourself, not the surroundings. Either work or play. Everything in between is usually akin to trimming ones own pubes over the sink or watching stupid shit online. For the long term, I go for a a city with a <1M pop. If it has a coffee shop, wifi, bars and one big mall then it will do. I'm no longer phased by seeing a few crumbly buildings. It beats seeing driving around and endless sea of Chipotles, 7-11s, etc and zero people walking.

The talent is indeed off the charts. Aside from Belgrade, nothing comes remotely close to it in terms of beauty and attitude. The female/male ratio is jaw dropping and much like fishing from a wooden barrel, full of fish, with live bait. The "bitch shield" thing is learned behavior...however, expecting it is also a learned behavior. It takes time to reverse the damage from dealing with that shit in the states. Being 'jaded' is hard to notice in a mirror full of other jaded people. There is a saying "expectation is the mother of frustration" which can be applied to business and life.

I think I'm coming with a friend from Poland via bus to Lviv because that's one of the closest big city near by Poland. Friend needs to reset his clock for his EU visa thing.

Can you recommend us where to go in Lviv? Little some sightseeing and cafe's or bars. We'll hit on anything we see anyway mrgreen

oh nice, yeah I was up in Gdansk for 2months before coming down to warsaw for a few days. Ended up flying to Lviv (1hr) due to the reports of a 8 hr bus wait at border. Also, I was getting lazy and running up against my 90th day on the shengen.

You'll find that Lviv is tiny and I walk across the entire town in flip flops almost daily. The main areas are popping with people right now. Overall, it has great vibe and the people have a charisma about them, even though they cram into those short yellow buses and always seem to be frowning until you speak to them. The Lviv Beer Theatre in the main square is a must hit and has 4 levels, all looking down into the middle stage - heard some great live music one night. Strangely though, the bar next door has better beer and is where the locals hang. Around the corner is a world-renowned breakfast buffet, which is like 3 bucks. Get there early though as the line wraps into alley

You'll want to eat lunch/dinner at Arsenal. Oh if anyone needs herb, you can safely use travka.biz which is just brilliant

Mall Game can be had at the Forum Mall, which I live near and hit daily.

I find Lviv great for day game if you dress well and you have good looks girls will definitely invite you to approach with eye contacts. They are receptive and open for meeting, then you need solid game to seal the deal, Ukrainian girls might be tricky. Hence you need experience in the environment as well.
For night game it can be hit or miss. Last time I was there, I dominated in the clubs and I could definitely choose the best looking girls; but in other occasions it didn't go very well. I suggest to go to clubs during the weekdays if possible, way less competition. Slavic direct game suggested in clubs.
For pre-party I suggest as well Pijalnia near Pravda (theater of beer) in Rynok square, many groups of girls hanging out and drinking.

I am looking to book hotel in Lviv for next week. There are some hotels 3-4 stars for €15. Is this for real or is it a tent?

You'd recommend it over Kiev? English levels are similar?

RE: Lviv, Ukraine: Super Low Bitch Shields and Cloud Cover
I am just back in Kiev from a 4-night trip to Lviv. I just thought I make a short trip report. I was writing this very quick so excuse spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.

Background
I am in my mid 30s and come to Ukraine for the last three years spending between 4 to 6 months a year mostly in Kiev but have been to cities all over Ukraine. This was my second visit to Lviv. I know how things work here despite speaking almost no Russian I am quite good in figuring things out. Also can’t complain about my success with Ukrainian girls.

How to get from Kiev to Lviv
The easiest way is to fly from Kiev Zhuliany airport to Lviv. The advantage is that this airport is super small and very central compared to Boryispol which is about 45 minutes by taxi. There is an airline called Flymotorsich which offers flights from Kiev Zhuliany to Lviv for about €80 return. Don’t use this airline if you are afraid of flying. Their planes are 70s and work with propellers. In the EU is doubt that these kind of planes would still be allowed. Once you are in Lviv just get an Uber from the Airport to the centre. It’s about 20 minutes and costs about 80 Griwnas.

Where to stay
Apartments are quite cheap in Lviv. I got one from Booking.com for €30 a night. Just make sure you are based around Rynek Square. That’s where things are happening in Lviv.

Lets start the trip report:

Thursday
I arrived in Lviv at the early evening. After checkin in in my apartment I got on Tinder. Second swipe was already a match. She was about a 6.5 and she sent me the first message. We were messaging back and forth and I made it clear that I would like to meet her but only if she is keen to have sex the first night. She agreed and decided to meet at the center at 9pm. She showed up at the meeting point and we went to a place called Coffee Factory. They had an outdoor bar with a Live Band. The girl was nothing special but like all Ukrainian girls she tried to look her best possible. Wearing heels a tight dress, well made nails.

I just wanted a quick bang so I was okay with it especially after the third beer. We went to another outside bar for a quick cocktail and then back to my apartment. As expected the sex was really good. In my experience, here in Ukraine the 6s and 7s put way more effort into pleasing their men that the higher quality girls. After two hours she left and I went to sleep.

Friday
I had some work to do so spent most of the day inside. Just left my apartment at about 5pm to check out the old town square. I found an Irish bar called Dublin where I had a few beers and a burger. The bartender was extremely friendly and later two of his friends joined at the bar and they were also really cool guys. We talked about Kiev, Lviv, football, girls everything and I got quite drunk in the process.

At about midnight I walked to a club called Mallewich which is close to the opera house. From Rynek Square it is about 15 minutes to walk. When I arrived the club was pretty packed. The setup of the club is not so good. It has one big room and a smaller lounge in front. There are not too many benches and opportunities for sitting. I was mostly hanging out at the front lounge because it was quieter. I chatted up a girl with dark hair and quite big tits. Turns out she used to live in Budapest and in Warsaw and just returned to Lviv to start a new job next month. She was funny and very different to the girls I met in Kiev. Unfortunately, she was with four friends and I thought it would be smarter not to stick with them around. We got a shot and I got her Whatsapp number. Then I started chatting with some other guys who heard me ordering in English.

Drank some more and had a great chat. From there on it must be about 3am I can’t remember too much. Unfortunately my phone battery died so I walked home without Google maps. I went in the wrong direction for about 20 minutes and ended up in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately I sobered out a bit and managed somehow to find my way back to Rynek Square. I must have arrived home at about 6am.

Saturday
I woke up at around 12 with a massive hangover and still drunk. I went to the shopping mall right opposite of that place where the statue with the horse is to buy some groceries. I saw this cute blonde girl walking by in the mall. When I passed here she checked out my sneakers. So I decided to stop her and ask her if she knows where I can find a pharmacy to buy some Aspirin. To my surprise she was super receptive and walked me to the pharmacy. She also ordered the Aspirin for me. I pushed for an insta date but she had to go home to have lunch with her parents. But she gave me her Viber and agreed to meet later this afternoon. Wrote her an hour later and we agreed to meet at 4pm. I also texted the big tit girl from Mallewich and she agreed to meet at 8pm for dinner and drinks.

At 4pm the blond girl showed up as expected. She was wearing a nice cute dress and some light make up. Da definite 8 for me. We walked a bit and finally went to an outside place right next to Fashion Club. We started drinking Aperol Spritz and after she was finished with her second drink things loosend up nicely. We just started with a slight make out when her stupid friend called. Turns out the friend is from Poland and just visiting her for a weekend. She was alone in the center. They got in a bit of a discussion because the girl lives a bit outside and the friend did not want to go home alone. So I agreed that her friend should join us for some more drink. The friend shows up and as expected she was super ugly. Maybe a 5 or even a 4 for Ukrainian standards. This pretty much killed the whole date because we had to also keep her in the discussion and I could not keep on going touching my girl. Maybe if someone has an opinion on this how I could have handled that whole situation better? Anyways after one more drink I walked the girls to the bus stop and they left back home.

At 8pm I met with the girl from Mallewich in the center. She looked better than in the club. Wearing tight hot pants, heels and a tight top. Her whole appearance reminded me a lot of a Colombian girl rather than a Ukrainian. Also her mentality is not real Ukrainian. From the beginning of the date she was smiling, funny, talking a lot making jokes and in a great funny mood. We went to a grill restaurant called Arsenal Ribs. We had amazing ribs and some beers. The bill was less than 600 Griwnas for the both of us.

Afterwards we went to a place called Maso bar. I have read about this place before. It is a sadomaso themed bar where bar tenders walk around with whips and slap the visitors. We had a bottle of wine there and then one of the waiters came up and asked my girl if she wants to whip me. We both agreed so I took of my shirt and banded over a chair and she started to whip my back. She was quite careful with it so it did not hurt me at all. But unfortunately, one of the female waitresses saw it and she joined. So both of them ended up whipping me. The waitress had the much better technique so after four or five punches from her we had to stop because it started hurting and slightly bleeding.

Nevertheless this whole thing was hilarious. We also started making out afterwards in this place. After we finished the drinks we went to a cocktail bar called Liberia. It has a library setup and a live band, really nice place and quite pricy for Lviv standards. We had a few more cocktails and unlike with many other Ukrainian girls I did not get bored with her at all. Once finished we decided to call it a night. I asked her to come to my place but she refused but told me that we will meet the next day.

Sunday
I woke up feeling much better than the day before. I messaged the blond 8 if she would be around but she told me that she would be with her friend again so I thought it would be a waste of time to meet. We agreed to stay in touch and if I go back to Lviv I might get in touch with her again. I rather setup a meeting with the Mallewich girl.

I did not do too much during the day because it was just too hot to be outside. At 6pm I met the girl from Mallewich and we went to a restaurant which serves nice Ukrainian dishes. Had some steak and a bottle of wine for 900 Griwnas both of us. Once we were finished we went to a shop right next to coffee factory. This shop sells cherry vodka. I don’t know the name of this drink but I have also seen that in Poland. They have outside standing tables and there was quite a party going on with students playing loud music from their phones and speakers. We started talking to some exchange students from Turkey and Egypt. Nice guys.

After this my girl suggested to go to my apartment and we were fucking after 10 minutes. Sex was good. She stayed the whole night and we had one more round before I was leaving to the airport at 8am the next morning. I really feel that this girl has girlfriend potential because she is so much more entertaining than 90% of the other Ukrainian girls I have dated so far. I bought her a ticket to Kiev and she will visit me on Friday to spend the weekend with me in Kiev.

Thoughts and observations
- I read in some of the Lviv threads that this city is full with Turks. I absolutely have to disagree. Besides the Turkish exchange students I maybe saw another five Arabic looking people during my whole four days here. There are definitely way more Turks around Kreshatyk street and certain nightclubs in Kiev.

- For me Lviv did not feel like Ukraine. I felt more like being in Poland. So I think for someone doing well in Poland and who likes Polish culture Lviv might be a good option.

- The city is really small. For me four days were more than enough. Daygamers would run out of targets relatively quick.

- Girls are not as hot as in Eastern part of Ukraine. In general girls seem to be very cute and nice here but the quality can’t be compared to Kiev.

- People in general are more open minded and friendlier. Me and many people I know struggle to make Ukrainian friends in Kiev. I think in Lviv getting into social circles might be much easier. People seem more open and happier.

- If you think to travel from Poland to Lviv think again. One guy I met in the Irish pub showed me a video from the Ukrainian/Polish border. What was going on there looked insane. Waiting times are between three and five hours. This has mostly to do with Ukrainians try to smuggle cigarettes and any other cheaper priced items into Poland.

I had a great time in Lviv. Got two bangs and met one really great girl. This city is too small for me for a longer stay and it also feels too much like Poland. I rather prefer the FSU atmosphere. But for a short weekend trip this city is ideal and would offer a lot of fun. Any questions just ask! Cheerio!

Nice report.

One little nuance: traveling from Poland to Ukraine (vice versa) by land is actually very easy, cheap and fast; I've done it numerous times. There are (on both sides of the border) two lines: one for people with a passport from the EU or EEA (and Switzerland) and the other one for 'all other passports'. The EU-line is generally very short; the other line however can be very long indeed. The pictures you were shown are from the 'other passports'-line. That line is indeed filled with people (mostly old women) bringing alcoholic drinks to Poland, just to sell them there for a somewhat higher price. (It's not smuggling, by the way; they are allowed to bring a certain amount to Poland, just like other travellers.)

Thanks for the info, but one question: do you go there by your own car? I want to go there by Polskibus and therefore I don't know if I will have to wait in the non-EU passport line Confused .

If you go by bus then you'll have to wait for every person on the bus to be checked by the border control police. This can take up some long time (especially when travelling from Ukraine to Poland; the other way around is generally faster). There is a much faster way to travel from Ukraine to Poland (and vice versa); I described it in this topic.

Well, the bus from Lublin (where I'll stay) to Lviv is just 12 euros ,and takes 5 hours (without adding the wait at the border). I'll try to go to Ukraine with polskibus and then coming back with your suggested plan.

I'm actually on my way to Warsaw now and then taking bus to Lviv tomorrow morning with PolskiBus. I hope there's wifi.

I went both ways with PolskiBus. Despite what it says on the website, which is bullshit, there's no wifi on the bus. Forget about the wifi, there's no bathroom, no enough space for legs, my knees were against back of the seat who was sitting in front of me for 9 hours. I paid €14 one way. I took the bus from Zachodnia bus station in Warsaw. It was just one chaos, nobody knows what's going on.

I also took Lux Express from Lithuania to Poland, bus was awesome. Tv on every seat, headphones, wifi, bathroom, even coffee machine. €16.

Poland is like 50 years behind of Baltic states. I spoke with 7-8 different bus companies at the bus station, all the buses that go to Warsaw to Lviv is some piece of shit from 1970's. It was horrible.

^ Interesting to hear that, Polskibus usually have good buses. They sometimes use other companies for their international routes, and recently even for domestic routes. So they may have chartered a shitty one for this route.

I took Polskibus from Minsk to Warsaw, which was once again with another company, and it was fine. You never know..

There are people who are not ready to sacrifice some comfort in order to get access to countries with attractive girls. Better for them to travel in some Western shithole or some tourists Lunapark towns. We all know that Ukraine is screwed, service is mediocre at best, infrastructure are poor and old.
Your comment about Poland doesn't make sense, when you travel internally in Poland buses are very comfortable, cheap and clean. When you go to Ukraine the story is different since bus companies aren't willing to spend money and have great and modern buses to drive in shitty and destroyed roads. Though I traveled also with Lux from UA to PL and the bus was modern and well maintained.
Suggestion: next time, take a flight from Istanbul to Lviv, it is the easiest solution)))) I heard that Ukrainian girls are waiting in the airport for the incoming Turkish planes))

Polski Bus is Polish, if you didn't know. Who's talking about Ukraine? Isn't Poland member of EU? Yes.

Lithuania is member of EU too. I paid €16 Vilnius to Warsaw (8h30 mins) I had tv (48 movies to pick from), headphones, wifi, coffee machine (unlimited), air condition etc.

I paid €14 for Polski bus, Warsaw to Lviv (8h15mins), I got nothing. No bathroom, not even water, bus is Lada from 1960's, no wifi, not even enough space for my legs.

I did e-mail Polski Bus 2 times and they assured me that they have wifi. If they would have told me that they didn't have wifi, I would have booked flight. I don't care about the money.

I don't get your idea, just because I'm going to Ukraine, do I have to suffer throughout the way? I also went to Riga to Petersburg, I paid €14 and bus had everything I can ask for. I don't think Russia's infrastructure is not LA standard when you compare against Ukraine either. So, your logic is clearly wrong. Come up with better excuse next time. mrgreen

I'll say it again, Poland is 50 years behind of Baltic States. I don't know who let them in EU.

Strongly recommend taking the train to Przemysl and crossing on foot. The IC train is excellent and very comfortable, with a dining car and beer.

I'm gonna write detailed-info about this in this topic.

I wish I listened Malo and DutchieDutch but my American friends already booked their bus ticket before I even knew that Przemysl route.

I keep repeating that if you take a real PolskiBus and not a third part company bus sponsored by PolskiBus (probably a Ukrainian bus company), the standard is different and the value for money is very good. Hence my suggestion about going to Istanbul, plenty of daily flights to Lviv full of "p4p seducers". You came on the topic only to moan about buses, border controls, customs. It seems like the most important thing of the trip was the wifi, not a single word about Ukrainian girls in Lviv, clubs, environment and how the hunt went. Useless information, we all know that going to Ukraine is a kind of mess, not a country for jocks.
About your last sentence, you clearly have never been in Poland; and it is better that people with such a mentality and thinking about Poland being a third world country, don't come at all to Poland tard
