Look forward to my report as well. We've been here for 5 days now but I'm still adapting. Got 5 numbers(night and day) but they all flaked. Leaving tmrw so hoping tonight will be my lucky one.

Damn! Well, if you saw a guy dancing with an obnoxious blonde while holding a beer, or carrying a coat that wasn't mine out of the club, that was me. lol

Small world.

RE: I Love Montreal: Data Sheet
Little help here please. I am down to either Montreal or Vegas during Memorial Day weekend (Fri-Monday) or Montreal during St. John the Baptist weekend (June 22-24) which would you guys recommend?
Pros of Memorial day in Montreal is 1) Much less crowded than vegas 2) Slightly cheaper during may than it would be for june's holiday.
Club prices / lines shouldn't be nuts. I would spend the same amount over 4 days vs the 3 days in june. (Flight + hotel in either may or june is about the same)

Cons. Less party crowd if I go in May vs the drunk fest that will be during the 3 days in June.(I'm assuming)

I would go in Montréal in May . During the St-Jean-Baptiste,you will faced a big drunk french crowd . It's not the best time of the year to speak english . You will see more men than usual, and bars will be jam packed .

I'm always surprised at how my long term memory is retaining my high school french. My short term memory consolidation system is shot, and I have terrible trouble learning new languages now, but I can remember grade 12 level conversational french just fine.

I'm curious about Montreal. I haven't been there since I was 8. After moving to Toronto me and my brothers were dissapointed at the quality of the girls. And by girls, we meant girls. Yes, even at 8 years old, you notice. Montreal girls are way hotter.

But now I'm mid forties and would likely be pushing fifty or more by the time I get back to check out Montreal.

So my question is, can you imagine an older guy with obviously below average looks who is also short doing any sort of damage in the club scene in Montreal?

I like SE Asia because an older guy can still mix in at the young crowd clubs. Not sure how that could play back in my homeland.

Xsplat, from my experience in Mtl, as you described yourself, don`t expect to be picking up hot 20-somethings at the clubs, if I were you I`d either stick to the pubs and work your magic there or try out some of the more mature clubs. Montreal isn`t SE Asia, the night club scene is comparable to any major city in NA.

1bliss, have fun at the F1 races, all the info that you need is on this forum and there`s quite a bit on Mtl info in other threads as well.

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

More mature clubs? More mature clubs!? What, you mean date similar aged women?!

Blasphemy.

There is not a snowballs chance in Indonesia that I'll ever again date an "age appropriate" woman.

My current live in is about to turn 23, and I started seeing her when she was 21, at which time I also had a 19 year old live in.

No, I'll just stay away from North America all together, if it's still quite so age segregated. Even here I'm really pushing the envelope. I'll continue in my ways then.

Although I did do well this morning in an approach of 3 western girls. The set opened easily and with laughs and they were quite impressed that I had flown down from the sky just to see them. Unfortunately I woke up from the dream after the girl spoke in a famous actors voice and I struggled to place the actresses name, getting it wrong as Bette Middler, instead of Bernadette Peters. That and my girlfriends leg had been placed over mine, waking me up. I had been so proud of opening that triple blond set, and it was going so well! No points awarded in a dream, I suppose. Style points for floating down from the sky riding a sausage shaped purple helium balloon between my legs?

RE: I Love Montreal: Data Sheet
Here's my report-

Montreal is a great city with an amazing culture and beautiful women.

However, you'll still need game.

Learning french will definitely help you out. While its not a requirement in St. Laurent or Crescent, I found that a decent amount of girls at Mt. Royal clubbing area have poor English and better French. In any case learning French will show the girls you aren't another dumb tourist and improve your open rate. I'd say if you are visiting Montreal for a few weeks or longer its definitely worth the effort to learn how to hold a basic conversation in french.

Venue Selection is very important too. Montreal is always popping but you have to make sure you go to the right places.
Get reservations at clubs too especially on nights when you know they're giong to be packed(Tokyo on Sundays as an example).

Korova Bar is excellent on Mondays. Lots of girls and they're friendly.

Tokyo is good on Thursdays and Sundays. Really high quality there.

I wasn't impressed with Crescent Street, but it was probably because of the Americans. We saw more fatties than usual on Friday and Saturday night at the Crescent area. The whales migrate to Montreal during Spring break. Lots of dudes too.

Mt. Royal is also another area you should consider. Lots of young hot girls but you should know basic french. Open in French and then start speaking in English and you're good.

St. Laurent doesn't require any French. Even my french friends prefer to game in English. Lots of bars in this area. A few clubs too(Ballroom and Tokyo come to mind).

Club game is the same as anywhere else except the girls are very young(drinking age of 18). If you have great logistics you can pull provided you can steal the girls away from her friends. My friend did that and he pulled an ok looking girl to our apartment and fucked her. Dancefloor game is important too. My dancefloor game improved helluva lot over the trip.

You won't have exotic factor helping you. You'll do well in Montreal if you have tight game and are decent looking. However don't expect it to be easy. Girls are with friends so you have to be sharp and lookout for girls by themselves.

I suggest older players go to the bars and meet less flaky girls in their early to mid 20s. The 18 year old girls in the clubs are flaky as hell(try to SNL them).

Next time I go there I definitely want to focus on Mt. Royal. This trip was pretty awesome. Lots of fuckups on my and my friends parts though. Its to be expected for guys with very little experience. I'm very happy with my trip and Montreal is fucking amazing.

Oh and drymarro pulled a cute chick too and fucked her last night(I left yesterday). So that was 2 out of 3 people who pulled on the trip there.
Not bad.

Tokyo on Tokyo on Tokyo when in Montreal as far as I'm concerned.
Very high quality when I went on Thursday and Friday night.

Following up what torontokid said, I completely forgot I was in Montreal when I was out on St. Laurent. Everyone spoke english. No exceptions.

Here in Montreal now. Great city but should have pipelined. Not too many hotties out during the day, probably because it's almost freezing. I'll check back in after I see what the nightlife is like.

RE: I Love Montreal: Data Sheet
A little bit of day game around St. Catherine Street. There was an impromptu concert there and it wasn't too bad out weather wise. I opened a few sets including a Russian and a girl from France. The Russian was like the only good looking one I saw by herself, and she was all about pimping me for my English ability. She said her "brother" is looking for a way to play live shows in Montreal and wanted me to help her talk to the promoters standing around near the stage. I helped a little but when I drew the line and tried to game her more she walked away. The French girl was digging me. She was here on holiday from France but her local Canadian friend pulled her away. Other sets I opened throughout the day were less thrilling. Let's hope the clubs bring better results.

AIE, it's too early in the year to be in MTL, but since you're already there, definitely hit up St. Laurent Street, Old Port, and Crescent Street. I'm going to be in Montreal in early May. Can't wait!

I second Mont-Royal. Start at Bily Kun and work east. Diable Vert on St. Denis is on the way and good if you're into jailbait. Check out Candy and the places east of Papineau. There's a few places on Rachel, which is two blocks south and runs parallel to Mount-Royal (LAB is worth checking out).

You'll need basic French, especially if going east of Papineau.

Please don't roll up with your bro crew or tell wack dudes. The girls here hate that. All the girls I know working bars/restos try to hide during F1 weekend. Any more of that shit and things can change quickly. Let's keep this thing for the players.

I would advise against the Mile End. There's really nothing for tourists, all the stuff going on is in private spaces. That might tempt you to make friends with someone in that scene and go because generally private parties are better, but this is an exception. The quality and ratio is sub-par, and worst of all the girls dress like homeless people and pretend they're artists.

I am thinking of checking out Montreal in late August this year. I went there for a week and it was one of the most fun vacations I've ever had (went with a girlfriend so just based on partying and the awesomeness of the city alone). For sure one of the coolest cities in all of North America. Will be nice to go back having a bit more freedom with the local hotties..

I'll be in Montreal from May 25-June 3 to hunt and will write a trip report. Thanks to all the posters for the helpful info. I've been pipelining and already have some hot leads. I can feel the sensuality in these girls in their written words as well as on the phone. It's going to be a good trip...

One more thing, Girl mentioned something about a strike taking place near St denis area. Any of the locals know anything about this? Should this be a concern during the day/night in that area or in Montreal in general?

There's been nightly student protests for the last 3 months regarding a proposed tuition hike.

As an aside, it would amuse most Americans as their current fees are insanely low and the hike is $325 a year for 5 years.

This protest is not a small issue- smoke bombs were lit in the subway. There is a travel warning from the us govt which I don't think is over reacting. if it continues I will change my current plans to visit mtl in august.

More than 300 people were arrested and 10 injured in a night of clashes between Montreal police and protesters over university tuition hikes, authorities said May 21.
