More power and love to you Mixx. Its not Good Karma.. Its GREAT KARMA!

I get what you mean, but there is something about certain items of clothing that never go out of style. And in all honesty, I love some of my older "jeans" that have faded and become softer over the years. These are the clothes that "fit" me so well, that I might never lose them Smile

The problem of the matter is there are several instances when my body has gone through RAPID TRANSFORMATION within a few months, thereby rendering the clothes not FITTING so well.

Once I was working out (& working hard) very seriously 4 months and bulked up crazy. Within few months some lovely threads I'd bought became USELESS even before I could use them.

Another time, I had gained a whole bunch of bad fat weight all over due to excessive work travel, bad sleeping hours -working with global teams (timezones) , bad food, bad lifestyle & NO PHYSICAL EXERCISE.

And more recently, I was doing a bunch of yoga & detox and I lost tons of that "bad fat" and have come out skinner.

Now again with an injury from a Ski/Board accident has me not able to indulge in major workouts for most of the year 2011.

Now, I want to bulk back up a bit over 2012 to fit some of the nicer threads that never got used much.

My shopping is never in synch with when I may have more time to wear them. So, stuff gets picked up (designer etc) and then I may not have chance to use them.

Anways.. leaving all above reasons aside.

IF YOU ALREADY KNOW.. YOU might GAIN or DROP majorly in the next 6-12 months as per your PLAN.. Do you try & accommodate for that? Can a Master Tailor accommodate for that?
OR Should I just wait before I "get my best threads fitted by the tailor"

Do you guys keep some room for the "growth" or "dropping" of poundage / muscle size?
e.g. I have these killer designer shirts that have gotten a little loose on me until I am able to bulk up again.

I'm going to be very honest with you, and I am probably going to stir up a lot more tension and catch more heat on this forum after my 25% per month budget announcement, but here goes:

I give my clothes a lifespan of about 2 years (maybe 3 on some items at most), after that, I go to shelters halfway homes of guys just getting out of prison or find homeless men and I donate clothes. I don't ask for a receipt, I don't ask to be mentioned in any appreciation programs, I donate anonymously because it is the best feeling in the world to give my fly threads to those less fortunate than me after I've enjoyed them or they no longer fit me.

It just as big a high as chasing women.

A lot of my own male family members stopped talking to me because I give more to less fortunate than I give to them....it is what it is.

Has anyone got a custom suit from these guys? $500 seems incredibly cheap to me.

http://www.indochino.com/collection/Suits

Presumably all the tailoring work is done overseas. I don't know how their fabric compares to something from Zegna, for example. G, what say you?

Wow! I went through their entire site and the ordering process & measurement & customization process online. Amazing workflow.

One of the best that I've seen online. How well their suits actually turn out is something I'd love to see/ hear about.

No reason to keep stuff around that is useless. So good for you. I do the same. However, I have to wonder how the strange looking labels are taken by the transient community.

Hey G - I looked up some Summer Suits (filtered for Spring/Summer 2011) on this page -

http://www.suitsupply.com/shop/1/Suits?filter_27=729

Do share your thoughts on them and maybe pick out some of them (best of the lot). I know it wont compare to your 3000$ + Custom Italian mades. But, until I get my $$ flow back to that level..

Even if you are going for the beach bum look, the same basic rules still apply: make sure the t shirt fits properly, and if you are wearing board shorts make sure they are the right size. You see a lot of short guys here in brazil rocking long board shorts that are almost down to their ankles. It stresses their shortness!

I prefer to slightly overdress on the beach with a mantaray shirt or a stylish but understanded designer t shirt and a pair of to the knee dark brown kahki shorts as opposed to patterened or flashy board shorts.

I rocked this in Floripa today with a nice pair of dark brown shorts and kinda kahki flip flops as opposed to the standard plastic ones: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mantaray-6684042...616&sr=1-5

RE: Let;s talk about style, and your looks to bang girls!
I've always had the philosophy of spending money where it matters and buying quality irrespective of the brand name.

IMO you can't fake quality when it comes to watches and shoes/boots. It manifests so well in these two accessories. I just recently changed my mind on buying good jeans as well (springing for above Levi's like Diesel or R&R). Each of these items take actual artisan craftmanship and quality materials.

Some gold-diggers and super fashion-sensed girls may notice if you're wearing a $1,500 blazer instead of a $300 blazer, or a $130 V-neck shirt instead of a $25 V-neck shirt, but from what I've seen, if you're rocking a solid watch and have nice handcrafted leather boots, everything else suddenly looks fancy.

That being said however, I still wear nice stuff all over and I only caution about failing into a trap over brand recognition. You can get very nice poplin button down shirts at Macy's for say $50, indistinguishable from $200 button-downs at Nordstrom. Same material, same quality of stitching. You have to look for a good brand at Macy's though. Most of the stuff there sucks indeed (seams already unstitching).

Maybe that's just how I roll, but I think there is some truth to it.

I just "sell dreams". Girls are taught to one day be married to a man who will take care of them. I give that illusion that is "may" happen UNTIL I bust that nut. After that, it's catch me if you can.

The 2 last pics from Kanye are nice . That's my kind of style especially the last one . I was in the same situation with wou mixx and manifesto . I have a lot of clothes that I can't put on because I loose weight from boxing . The biggest chalenge for me now It's too find t-shirt,polo . I have the a good build but no belly . So often I'm fine with a large for the buit but it's too loose at the belly .
Lacoste polo are perfect for me because they fall perfectly on me .
The guy who search for a leather coat , depend of your style but Avirex do very nice jacket .
I have one but it depend of your style, you should take a look .

What do you guys think about the styles in Layer Cake, especially Daniel Craig's? The trailer flashes around a bit too much to catch all of it, but this movie was one of the first things that made me sit up and realize how much dressing well can shape your presence. He wears a great suit at the end but it was the casual styles that really made me notice. This is the first time I realized how a pair of jeans should fit, and that they could look good and modern without going down the pattern/glitter route.

I went out last night to this after office club in Buenos Aires with my one custom italian suit on. I was one of the best dressed in the place.

However my game wasn't up to par. I don't have that alpha vibe and my verbal gymnastics and shit-test passing isn't very good.

One girl straight up told me... "With that suit on you look like you should me a smooth talked. Its not congruent with you."

Dressing up is good but if you don't have the game to back it up it makes you look weird because people expect you to act like you have mad game.

Very True. Which proves my point that women see any man GQ'd up as an alpha dog, whom she should consider investigating further for a potential fuck.

Now, the suit OPENS THE DOORS (and many times legs) for you where otherwise, you had no shot at all.

Of course, you need to have confidence in yourself to back up the message your suit is sending out.

Which is why post No. 1 mentions that game is also needed, but there are plenty of game discussion threads. If you feel you need help, post up on the newbie forum!

BTW, This should of been your alpha response to that woman:

Random woman: "With that suit on you look like you should me a smooth talked. Its not congruent with you."
Mixx: "With those lips, you should of been making out with me by now. It's not congruent of you."

Mixx

Did some soft & quick day game the last 2 days wearing a suit(but no tie),like a simplified(I'm not that Rich !)version the Lapo Elkann/De la Rua style(similar hair style also) in some crowded streets here, after taking care of some business(that's not how I usually dress to work commitments).

I had a significant increase in IOI's , and number closed 2 chicks (6 and a 7)

This style definetely deserves a try out ,I'm 100% convinced in investing to have a GQ wardrobe, although adapting minor things to the tropical climate.

Chicks need to be on rotation like a Netflix queue

OK guys, I've gotten a couple of PM's on guys asking what is NOT considered GQ, and one picture as example I can find is this.

DO NOT DRESS LIKE THIS, PLEASE!!! Just because it's a suit jacket, does not meant it's attractive. Learn your color wheel gents! There are so many things wrong with this "style", I do not even know where to begin to tear it apart.
