RE: Romney or Santorum?
I don't give a fuck if elites or the general (stupid) public or the Republican establishment won't support a Ron Paul candidate.

Although I don't agree with some of what Ron Paul says, he has principled consistency as proven and documented (see youtube for his speeches and look up his voting record) in his 30-year career in Congress.

Everyone else are warmongering, money-printing, gay-bashing, corporate-paid, etc crooks.

Regardless of who we vote for, our lives are still up to us not up to government...unless they're pro authoritarianism, which I think this country (USA) is slipping towards.

But if I have to vote for who's running the country, I'll vote out of principle, for myself, for liberty, for peace and for the rest of the world.

Ron Paul or nothing.

I gotta admit, I'm on the Ron Paul bandwagon. Too bad it won't happen for him.

For a person that supposedly "hates" gays, you seem to talk about them a lot.

Are they always on your mind?

Are you sure you don't secretly love them, like most people who say they "hate" them do?

Please advise.

Actually don't. I am not interested.

It seems you're always willing to defend gays, are you sure you don't "secretly love" them?

Why I really hate gays? In case you haven't noticed I am Middle-Eastern, half-Turkish, half-Bahraini, and I'm muslim. We are brought up to hate gays.

You're the one who brought up gays in the first place brah. And that is the stupidest fucking rationale I've ever heard for anything. You were brought up that way, so even though you're an adult, you can't think for yourself? You sound like a real winner, dude.

By the way, I feel sorry for you if you want to model yourself after white trash rednecks in the South. Do you still think black people should be slaves? Grow the fuck up dude. Racism and hatred is funny when it's a joke but not when someone is serious about it.

You should start wishing for nothing because without the consent of the populace, government doesn't have the resources to enslave us.

Think about it, if there are no taxes being collected, there are no resources to enslave us.

This is completely what the elites want from us to make us think that we are an enlightened minority. Kick your self in the face, multiple times, you are an infinite degree of idiot if you think that voting has any impact on what is happening around us in the systems that have been instituted since the Civil war of 1868.

Quit thinking that voting for anything will change anything.

None of it matters, the system is rigged and has been for more than 100 years.

Leave it. The only part of protest is not engaging in what the elites want us to think is democratic institutions.

Yo Romney's wife has aged pretty well. She must have been a good looking chick back in the day. She's a real woman in the way that she talks about her husband as well. A refreshing contrast from Michelle Obama.

And yea, mainstream Republicans of today are about as conservative as Roosh is feminist.

I really hate faggots a lot, not just because what they do is forbidden in religion, but also because it's digusting as shit. I don't expect anyone to defend gays in a forum for players, anyone doing so might be a closet homosexual.

Settle down.

Hate will get you nowhere.

You might be the exception though.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

People from the Southern states don't like gays. Besides, a lot of NBA players hate on gays too, there is really nothing wrong with hating them.

Besides, god hates fags.

Let's not go off-topic however, this is a thread about the election, and not gays.

You seem to mistake me for the wishy-washy, naive type who thinks a vote or depending on government will guarantee real changes to most issues that most can agree on or I know nothing about systemic relationships or that I'm pro-taxation.

Voting is a very small thing that people can do to make profound change. It is our individual actions and choices that determine that unless an overwhelming authority overpowers us.

I go by the evidence that was presented to me about a candidate and heard their arguments, Ron Paul makes the strongest case about the issues and presents the strongest evidence of his professional record that I'm in favor of. Hard to believe that what I read and see about him is fabricated by "an NWO-type secret elite society who wants to rule our world." In fact, from observation there's a lot of elite effort to discredit Ron Paul.

The election's definitely rigged in terms of how the media, corporations, and party elites support candidates they choose and how the mis-educated public eats it all up. However, I believe that if we all think like you that it doesn't matter and nobody votes then we're consenting to authoritarian rule.

@Enfant_Terrible:

You seem like a young guy that's engaged and that's admirable. There's one thing that I think you haven't considered however.

As a free people, we don't need any governance.

A truly free people will be able to govern themselves in their own best interest. Any supposedly elected governance will in the end being despots. It's happened over and over in history because anyone that's attracted to that type of post will invariably be power hungry at the best and psychopathic at the worst.

That's where we find ourselves today.

The only way to stop it in our militarized times is to withdraw. Stop voting for the lesser of two evils, minimize your tax footprint, stay away as far as possible from interactions with government employees and bureaucracies, anything that you can legally do to starve the beast that is the state. Eventually, through their own hubris, the institutions that they have worked so hard to erect will collapse under their own weight.

That's when free men like us pick up the pieces and restore the civilization we deserve.

I'm working on that goal daily. And part of it is refusing to vote for my own enslavement.

A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be.

I really wonder if Ron Paul has ever read "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair - part of the book describes some of the disgusting pre-FDA shit that went on in the food industry, like using chemicals to disguise rotten meat and labeling it as fresh.

Why is no one talking about Huntsman? He's the only one that doesn't have a conspiracy boner about scientists and global warming. One of the reasons we're going downhill as a nation is idiotic hatred of learning and mistrust of scientists. We put one of these conspiracy-theory mouthbreathers into office and we keep sliding downhill.

Seriously, scientists in academia have shit salaries. If they were in it for the money, they'd leave and work in industry, not attempt a worldwide coordinated scam (which would take an incredible amount of effort compared to simply changing careers).

Academia has been co-opted just like Government. Those piss poor scientists are now pawns for funding from mega corps and their biased studies. Nothing getting out into the mainstream from the realms of Academia hasn't been twisted or filtered to meet certain corporate agendas.

I am all for the sovereign man movement but there are still your fellow men to look out for. Only by teaching your fellow men can you get to anything where men and people are free to live in their best self- interest. The biggest experiment of this in human history has been a failure... The United States.

About the election though. The establishment is pushing hard for Romney he is the only troll that can raise 250-500 million needed to take on Obama. Ron Paul the only legitimate candidate can't rake in that type of cash. The game is rigged, even though Ron paul has more popular support the Media and Mega Corps will do all they can to keep him of the ticket. Santorums a joke he got lucky in non-important Iowa, fast forward to a real primary and he gets pummeled.

The game is rigged tho, Romney and Obama is nearly the same. Both Wall-street puppets. The audacity of considering a man for president whom has a net worth of 200 million., the man probably does not even wipe his own arse after taking a dump.

What is wrong w/having a rich president? I think its advantageous for 2 reasons to have a rich POTUS - 1) he's proven he can be successful in private enterprise (assuming he's not a trust funder) and 2) he's got enough money where he doesnt have to factor his post White House career into any decisions. He has no need to kiss everyones ass so he can get paid 100k to do a speech.

Ron Paul's argument to environmental problems is the free market working within a free society where laws and property rights are enforced. What he would say to your food problem is that the free market should decide whose products will win out and that in a free society nobody has a right to harm someone or pollute the waters and that includes using chemicals in your meat.

Scientists would be working in a bustling free-market.

Also, FDA is in cahoots with the corporations. Why do you think natural products/alternative medicine don't get FDA approval or backing?
Take Apple Cider Vinegar, one of the hot topics of this forum--shows you that all sorts of other chemicals are pushed into our faces
more than the natural stuff, which is why we know little about alternative products that might be healthier for us.

Here's a video of environment and property rights to get you started:

I'll quote what he says to reporters who ask this question: "No intention." Why should he? He's polling high and climbing.

What I think is that he should go all the way, fight it out to the very end, I just read his campaign issued a challenge to other GOP candidates to drop out of the race, get behind RP so they can defeat Mitt Romney because it's now a 2-man race and he's the real conservative.

RE: Romney or Santorum?
@Enfant_Terrible: How would a free-market environmentalist society be different from the 1890s/1900s, with little oversight and massive amounts of holy-shit-what-are-we-eating? It's extremely difficult for the average person to determine the presence of taste-imperceptible unsafe food additives that cause damage over the medium to long term; even if a company did form to conduct comprehensive experiments, the presence of additives would only be revealed after the damage was done. Show me how such a setup would be different from the Gilded Age.
Regarding alternative/natural products, what specific examples do you have? I haven't heard of people being denied access to apple cider vinegar, and it's not like information about it is suppressed on the internet. Is the FDA refusing to let apple cider vinegar be sold on the open market in some areas?
