A not so bright future for America....? It's too late for gun control.

Americans, by and large (i.e., apart from the far left), are not interested in Europe's gun control dystopia.

Gun Control Laws Marketed as “Life Saving” But whose life do they save?

That' s "right", my friend, no change here... Read it over: "gun control ... COULD HAVE saved many people's lives and made the world a better place, but for which it is now probably too late". So long, cowboy

I suppose that's possible. The difference between the lips, and the distance between the lips and eyes look pretty different. Also the eyes and eyebrows. Who knows, maybe he got a nose job. Clearly there are stark differences between the photos with the nose.

Yeah I'm no photo analysis expert, but to me it looks like the same guy, just with DRASTICALLY different shooting variables.

1st pic: smiling so lips are thinned, more apparently distance between chin and lips, nose flared, eyebrows downturned, cheeks raised, eyes squinted

2nd pic: looks completely dejected or spaced out, eyebrows raised, nose elongated, cheeks deflated, mouth slightly downturned and lips pursed

Not to mention the lighting is different, casting a slightly different shadow. If you look at anatomical features, they appear identical, like distance between the eyes, protrusion of the ears, distance between earlobe and jawbone, and the overall shape of his face.

That closeup of his nose looks like the same nose to me, only one is flared and being boosted from the upward movement of his facial muscles in a smile, and the other it's deflated and straightened due to the sagging facial expression.

No conspiracy, gentleman...at least not in any coverup sense.

I have changed my mind. I think it is the same guy with a nose job. I blew it up in photoshop and measured a few things. I think he has had a nose job, plucked his eyebrows, and his cheekbones aren't as evident due to the flash and lack of smile. Same ears, forehead, jawline, eyelids.

Doesn't he looked drugged up or brain washed in the second picture compared to the first? Here he is in court.

The New Yorker even questioned whether or not he is drugged.

This "white knight" conversation is really interesting..

I mean, When is it ok to protect innocent people and when is it not???

I have a little sister, I would probably have taken a bullet for her. My instinct would be to protect my mother but she would probably say..."no, get out of her and save yourself". I have alot of aunts and female cousins and would probably try to help them. But, thats family, maybe thats different.

What about these scenarios...?

I see an old lady being robbed by some teenage punks. She gets punched, thrown to the ground and they take her purse. They start kicking her. Am I a white knight if I try help her???

or,

I see a little girl getting beat up by a druggie. He punches her, he starts tearing her clothes off, he is joking her out with his hands around her neck. Am I a white knight for stepping in and knocking the dude out???

What about the Jerry Sandusky scenario..? You see an old man fucking a little boy in the ass. Do you do anything?

These are tough questions, I'm not saying I would intervene. I'm not sure what I would do..

Lets say you were still in an ltr with this girl and you guys were at that Batman movie. Would you have ran out of there and saved yourself or would you have tried to help your girl?

What do you guys think? Does helping innocent victims make you a beta white knight or is their some scenarios were its ok???

does he look drugged up and tired in court? of course. lets review the facts here - he went on a shooting rampage, killed a bunch of people, and has spent the last week or so in a prison cell. do you expect him to show up in court in a custom suit, nice tan, fresh haircut, and straight from a spa treatment?

....of course he got a nose job how else were the Feds supposed to get at his brain when they ran experiments on him...

I don't this guy was slick enough to do this on his own.

He had help.

I kind of think that being a beta white knight strictly involves helping bangable women because that's the only way you know how to ingratiate yourself to them. It's like chivalry or male slavery.

And on the whole "does he look drugged" thing, has anybody considered that maybe he has PTSD? Spree-killer he probably is, I don't think he would be immune to PTSD.

Colorado shooter was likely facing eviction:

Holmes' withdrawal from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus a month before the shooting would likely have triggered his eviction from the building, which is reserved for only people affiliated with the school.

Nine days before the shooting, Holmes was seen on Paris Street, asking landlords and neighbors if anyone was aware of a vacant apartment in the area, several neighbors told Reuters. He wired his apartment with enough explosives to have leveled the building if they had been detonated. (source)

I doubt it. PTSD usually means that an event or effect that has been brought on you. To commit something like this you have to be on a "level" most people can't go too. You would of had to internalize the act of killing and brutality often and prior to this. As sick as it sounds if somebody we're doing an act like this the act itself would give them relief or joy. The build up to it would be the most stressful part to them not the act itself.

That's pretty fucked up. I read this one book in high school, "Give a Boy a Gun" or something like that, it was basically a fictional novel about how school shootings happen. The guy who shot up the school had an accomplice who killed himself, and they both went on serious power trips. Weirdly enough most of it was just destroying the gym floor and shooting a jock in the kneecaps. There weren't any answers outside of "look for the warning signs" and "report everything to the authorities". I'm still not sure what to take away from that book. It's the first place I read about "the alpha male".
I'm still kind of curious why the guy looks so dazed/stoned though.

It really made the world a better place for all of those Jews who used to live in Germany until the late 30s/early 40s.

You should read Rage by Stephen King. Bad ass book that inspired those Columbine shooters. I think he pulled it from the shelves when that happened so you might have to go hunting for it. I found mine at Half Price Books years ago, but I highly recommend it.

Simple. I would have tried to get us both out alive, perhaps risking my life in the process, but not just taking a bullet Secret Service style.
