DeSantis’ tactic is going to be “Trumpism with a human face”. Basically, take Trump’s policy, and present it in such a way that appeals to the non-progressive donor and centre-right professional crowds. Remove the “drama” associated with inflammatory remarks and blue-collar behavior in high office.

It’s counter-intuitive but when you “lose” an election the answer is to become more like yourself rather than more like your enemy. Therefore, DeSantis should go to the right of trump, not left, if he is to have a shot - more authoritarian in security issues, crackdown on immigration more. It is harder because there are almost no donors there but it is the only way.

Nah, at this point only the most rabid brainwashed SJWs would believe something as absurdly sensational as "Trump right-wing firing squads" or any "He's literally Hitler" phrasing.

imo the most sensible platform for America at the present, besides stopping the woke madness, is a combination of "Blue Dog Democrat" domestic policies that help the working class and Middle America, and an anti-war foreign policy. Make peace with Russia and China, stop bankrolling Israel and the MIC.

No point in stopping immigration, for example, if you'll just continue to serve the bankers' wars

The neocons will bend over backwards to stuff the ballot box for pro war/pro Ukraine candidates. That’s the only thing I can glean from this
Good that Carlson is getting the candidates on the issues.

This not a goal for the Republican Primary Base.

Since Primaries tend to focus on the more hardcore/extreme voters.... the candidates know that. Doesn't mean Mike Pompeo, Nikki Haley,

I like the Trump "We should focus on Regime Change in the US" and focusing on Peace.

Pence, like an idiot, is doing the "we fight them there so we dont fight them here" tactic. All else are "Putin apologists"

DeSantis, who knows he has to soften his congressional record where he praised GW Bush as his idol. Glad to see him publicly state that he's against the war. Though I'm dubious.

Vivek Ramasuamey, whom I really don't like based off all the ads ive seen, is correct also.

Abbot, echoed the same.

Noem, who cucked to the tranny stuff, is correct about the sanctions also.

Bolton/Pomeo/Haley/Tim Scott/Chris Christy will be Pro-War as total stooges of the NEOCON agenda. They're the ones who are going to get the push....

Thankfully, Trump will dominoe them 1 x 1 in the primary. which I am looking very much forward to as the most entertaining thing I'll have seen since 2016.

One idea forming to me:

The guy to support might be Gaetz.
The TimCast stream was important not because of Tim, but because Gaetz has done what the other candidates are either unable or unwilling to do by maintaining a coherent, knowledgeable discussion going for two hours straight.

One thing you noticed about Putin is that he’s capable of discussing complex geopolitical issues off the cuff while demonstrating a robust factual knowledge. In the US the only candidate I have seen who can do that currently is Gaetz. (Trump did it in 2015 a few times but only when speaking in venues where he knew the audience was a business audience like CNBC, but recently he just circles back to sloganeering).

Gaetz is the only non Trump candidate i can absolutely say I would vote for with out hesitation.

The dude has been on point with pretty much everything... And learned how to deal with crooked fbi agents trying to entrap him.

I'd love to see him on any ticket 100 percent.
