Neither of us have any debt and I'm more thankful every year that we don't.I think for a lot of people, graduations represent a rite-of-passage more than anything else. As much as I agree with "don't take on debt you can't afford," I feel bad for people who got roped into student debt because they were told it was "good" debt, "education is always the answer," "you'll pay it back, you can defer your loans," etc. I feel like it's a little different from people who rack up consumer debt out of grave stupidity.</blockquote>
