60% of men "afraid" to mentor women. Wonder why?

We had a non official "no alone" policy for the men on our work crew. Under no circumstances were men staff to engage with any of our women clients behind closed doors alone.

In 2019 it's a suicide mission engaging with women in a closed setting. Even something as a coffee can be dangerous. I will only engage older women who are married with children with this setting professionally unless we are friends as these women seem to be the only ones who know how behave themselves around men.

I was taught this years ago by an older boss of mine who had an open door policy with women and admitted that, with the inability to be frank and candid women were never going to get the full 100% truth.

Your worst discipline and your best praise will be behind closed doors. I've been chocked out and physically assaulted by superiors and graciously hugged and given praise for a job well done; you get the raw truth when it is just two people. You can't be candid in an open setting. Women will continue to never get the full truth and it will hold them back. Not everything can be recorded by some HR loser evaluation sheet.

I hope more of this continues, women will get what they want of the return to sex segregated spaces if they continue on thier path.

I used to mentor graduate students in my STEM field. The moment #Metoo hit the media was when I took my name off the mentor list of the organisation I was involved with. I'd only mentored guys up to that point, but couldn't risk having to mentor a woman in that climate.

I am dealing (not through my choice) with a female real estate agent now and they're a real bitch to work with. Take everything personally and don't belive they have to prove their value. A man on the other hand will go out of his way to prove his value. I made the mistake of having a female real estate agent last year and it didn't go well.

Will hopefully get rid of her

If you can't get rid of her, keep insulting her and questioning her ability...she'll quit.

The best way to mentor women is to never hire them for management roles.

Advise them to give up a career and raise a family.

I also saw something about Millennials being happy to have online only 'relationships'.
As in they never bother to meet face to face.

Gives the whole 'death by a whimper' thing for The West a whole new meaning...

I work in the oil/gas industry. There's some hot women in the finance department, but hardly any women in my field of work (electrical).

Nothing but masculine blue pill dudes, and hell, some red pill ones too.

I hate thinking about how my work will be more difficult if I switch to the tech industry because it's littered with women.
Funny. I work in a tech company that's focused on manufacturing and we can't get any girls to join us. The office is 7 to 1, guys to girls. Management wants another girl desperately but they're shit out of luck.

We once had an engineer join our team that was literally a model. Like legit a 9/10 girl that you rarely see in real life.

She didn't know anything and always came in to work late, sang in the hallways, was a nice girl but pretty much an airhead. She left after like a year of screwing around.

Funny thing is, some of the senior VPs of the company were taking her out to lunch and stuff.. absolutely hilarious and pathetic at the same time.
Next time you hear women bitching about the wage gap and the old boy's network remember this shit happens way more than you realize. The same asshole that won't give you a 3% raise for busting your ass will turn right around and give "Amber" some bullshit make-work job at twice your salary because he wants to bang her.
