Schooly D : Am I black enough for you?

Keep in mind two things: 1) I am so white the cosmonauts can spot me from space 2) I am a troll who only acknowledges POTUS as my better. But I love this song for many reasons. I play it and I sing it and I get ire and attitude.

I rode around for months bumping this song..... the bass line booming from 3 Rockford Fosgate 15" subs in the trunk with a chrome punch 250 amp

^^Fun fact: My buddy bought that green Impala from this video (1:45) on Ebay^^

Mariah Carey was hot af in her heyday... her and Salma Hayek (An a little Rosie Perez) turned me onto thicc Latina women when I was a young lad growing up in a small redneck town where we sadly had none.......

I loved Mariah's scratchy voice. I remember the first time I heard her, she had never done a concert ever, singing for the first time on TV on Arsenio Hall.

It was playing in the background and I stopped what I was doing to go over and watch. My parents remember where they were when Kennedy was assasinated. I remember where I was when I first heard Mariah sing "Vision of Love."

The huge sound coming out of that tiny little thing. So young. You knew she was going to be a star after ten seconds. She was a bit shy and insecure too. Looked uncomfortable onstage. Didn't know what to do with her hands or eyes. You wanted to hug her and say it would be all right.

Irresistible to a suburb lad.

This album kind of flew under the radar except for his biggest hit (I wish) but it was a pretty solid feel good album and better then most trash kids mumble on these days

Actually just seeing the photo above kicked me right in the feels... I was 15 riding around with my older friends who had a car just enjoying life without a care in the world

I need to be in here more.

I was spinning new edition’s “can you stand the rain” over and over

90s baby so i caught the tail end smooth r n b but ill take it .

Seeing that Skee-Lo video was reminder that a fair amount of rap by guys like him and Young MC and Tone Loc was actually pretty funny. It had a light touch.

I am so out of the loop on all that now, but are there any funny rappers now?

Last saturday's night I was smooking weed while listening my 90s R&B playlist on Spotify and then it surprised me again with this mellow track:
