Such a iconic video... as well as a great song. I believe I also posted this song in the "song that describes your life" thread

I'm not a huge fan of the genre, but metal begins and ends with...

MOTORHEAD!

RIP Lemmy.

Nice selection, 2Wycked. Brings me back to my high school days, when Metallica was by far my favorite metal band. As for my favorite album from them, after 15 years I still can't decide between Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets.

Steel Panther are an 80's parody band, except they can all really play their instruments, and have amazing comedic timing.

I just watched some of their videos and I was laughing out loud.

"Good evening Tokyoooooooooo!!! This song is called Asian Hooker!"

They have another song called "Gloryhole," which might be the most disgusting (and hilarious) video on YouTube.

I just want to pop in here and add (as a child of the 90s) that growing up we all thought hair metal and anything 80's was "gay". How wrong we were! Time has shown us that it was the 90s, with all its emo Kurt Cobain faggotry that sucked. Fuck the 90s and it's nihilistic garbage. Hair metal was about fun. It was about getting drunk, fucking shit up, and fucking bitches. It was the last form of masculine rock to exist.

Good luck finding unapologetic masculine rock icons now.

Fuck that pussy Kurt Cobain and fuck Gen X faggotry.

Classic VH of course:

EDIT: Living Colour isn't really "hair metal", but Vernon Reid is a first-rate shredder.

I grew up listening to this stuff, my older brothers and all their friends were heavily into metal. Gets the blood coursing through my veins.

Ray Gillen could really sing, sad that he died at such a young age
Eric singer on drums, Greg Chaisson on bass and Jake E. Lee as guitarist all well respected musicians on their instruments, the band could've gone much further I think had it not been for his death

ROFL. I sat in front of these guys in coach on the way to Vegas a couple years ago. They talked the entire time and the few groupies they had were old hags sitting on the plane. They complained about wanting a better agent that could get them better gigs that would provide them all more than $1,000 a gig. Sad.

Its not metal but it fits the theme. This song makes me want to fuck a woman on a bearskin rug in a dark room illuminated by a fireplace.
