In the past two decades, the quality of products I purchase online or in retail stores has greatly declined. Most of what I buy today are not even finished products---they require a bit of tinkering or modification to perform as advertised, regardless of how many "five star" reviews they've garnered

The reason for the decline of products, services, and even entertainment is affirmative action because it enables women and effeminate men, both of whom have low testosterone levels, to get jobs that they are not qualified to do.

The lowering of standards for women, effeminate men, LGBT, and minorities by giving them work quotas that are easier to fulfill, along with allowing these people to cheat and cut corners, and making the work overspecialized so that it becomes easy is the reason they can even get jobs in the first place.

And this is why products easily break down, vehicles easily crash, buildings easily collapse, and services are rendered incompetently.

The irony is not lost on me that what is considered old 'junk' especially in terms of durable goods like automobiles, electronics, and appliances are more robust than the shiny new stuff being sold.

I don't have a television set older than 2 years old in my home simply out of attrition because they burn out so quickly except for a 17 year-old made-in-Japan 60" Pioneer rear projection set I inherited from my father that weighs as much as a county courthouse and refuses to die.

The status seeking females don't stick to any pursuit for long, they are always looking for their next promotion and don't have much patience for the mundane and routine. Like a child going from one project to another without actually finishing anything of usefulness. Like implementing some new software that nobody ever uses because it makes work more difficult and adds little value. Or trying to make a process more efficient by adding more paperwork and thereby making the process less efficient. The secretary types can be more relaxed and pleasant to work with. They typically realize that work is work and not some form of liberating passion

It's more noticeable in services. Everytime I get a female on the phone for a government or company service I think to myself it will take a couple more calls to fix my problem. If I get a female or black doctor I know these people were affirmative action candidates and I dont expect much out of them. The only solution is to move where this is less of a thing. Buy cheap buy twice...I always pay a lot more to get the best products and obviously I know nothing is perfect, there will be glading flaws I have to accept.

That is one of the reasons - other reasons are:

+ better planned obsolescence
+ crappy manufacturing Made in China
+ future state of renter economy. Your computer, phone and appliance must not last longer, since they want you to rent forever every product you have - if you have one that lasts 10 years, then that is a big minus since it has some resale value left. It must thus fall apart right after the warranty period is done.

It has to do with profits.

Manufacturers do not make quality products to cut down production cost and also to make more money when you buy new ones for replacement
