One of the pioneers of the contemporary manosphere, in my opinion. One pattern I notice is everyone saying they bonded with their dad watching this show. Same exact situation here. The show had mass appeal.
The appeal even goes beyond inter-generational--My father had friends who didn't even speak ENGLISH, and when they were around, they knew the show and would have to sit down and watch it with us, dying of laughter the whole time.
As others have said, show was WAY beyond its time, and the more that traditional family values are oppressed in the United States, the more I think of this show and how what was supposed to be an extreme caricature has amazingly become quite close to millions' of poor dudes' daily realities.
