- Bukowski

Bukowski finally became an Alpha in Women.

I've read all his stuff.

Can you elaborate on Bukowski finally becoming an Alpha? I've read a little bit, and hope to read more. But that's an interesting statement. i did see the video where he kicks that woman in the head. I think it was linked to on here a while ago.

Its funny that you mention xsplat. I sometimes post in Roissy's comments section under the name 'C' (the first letter of my first name) and have also rebutted some of his BS.

By the time he's writing Women he's achieved some fame as a writer and starts to realize women like him for the first time. He then starts banging all sorts of chicks and get's confidence that he's never really had. In his other writings they're all mostly sad memories and musings while he's drunk and depressed.

Fisto don't worry about some of these fools. You go to remember that some of the guys writing shit on these forums have never left moms basement. They have the skewed impression that "alpha" was created by some hip asshole in a furry cowboy hat and nail polish, who write about picking up women.

The thing is, waay before hearing of any game, all of us can look back and recall meeting someone important, super rich or super cool and remember the indifference with which they treated those around them. For me it was meeting big time rock stars and professional ahtletes while doing security in College. The way you can see how nothing excited them, people waited on them hand and foot and their calm "seen it all before" attitude came through naturally. This is what lower betas boys want to recreate but their basic short sighted goal is to squeeze into some sluts pants once in a blue moon by trying their dambdest to act in charge and important. Other guys who really get it know this Alphaness they are seeing is not an act, not a scheme to get pussy, but the way a man really is. Maybe he was not always so alpha, but after going places few have gone, doing women few have done, seeing things and doing things even he probably never dreamed of these natual alphas really are not impressed with much in the "regular" day to day world outside of their adventured filled lives. That is attractive. Hell even to other men that is attractive, not in a sexual way but in a admirable way.

*I think the link you are talking about might not have beeen written by Roissy. Now he has the Chateau to avoid lawsuits and has allowed in a few other commentators. I cannot locate it now, but he does have a post about an Alpha friend of his that is a leader of men, athlete, bad ass, shot caller, that still dates sub par women and still needs some game. So he does draw the distinction between simple game and true alphaness.

Sometimes you just meet people who just give off radiance. They just make you feel completely comfortable and at ease and you can't help but feel respect for them. I felt this way recently when I met one of my favorite tv stars and his crew. I chilled with them for a while and I noticed how he just made me feel at ease when he was talking to me.
A true alpha makes the person he's talking to feel like a million dollars.

Ostrich
"In life you must fight for everything. At the end of the day you will always be alone and the only one you can trust, but do not think for a second that this is a weakness"

Had this one on my blog awhile ago and its honestly one of my favorites.

"Associate with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for it is better to be alone than in bad company"- George Washington

Just a real cool way of looking at things. Sometimes we put ourselves around others for the sake of not being lonely as opposed to seeking out the right company.

Some important lessons in the poem If by Rudyard Kipling:

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Mighty powerful...

But Henry Miller is a favourite:

No man is great enough or wise enough for any of us to surrender our destiny to. The only way in which anyone can lead us is to restore to us the belief in our own guidance.
Henry Miller

One of the best:

One of the reasons why so few of us ever act, instead of react, is because we are continually stifling our deepest impulses.
Henry Miller

... the last one reminded me of William Blake:

Those who restrain their desires, do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained.
William Blake

Always be ready to speak your mind, and a base man will avoid you.
William Blake

What is grand is necessarily obscure to weak men. That which can be made explicit to the idiot is not worth my care.
William Blake

Invictus, by William Ernest Henley

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gait,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

“I am Young, I’m Handsome, I’m Fast, I’m Pretty and Can’t possibly be beat!” - Muhammad Ali

http://www.thegmanifesto.com/2011/04/young-handsome-fast-pretty-south-beach-miami-swagger.html

Last night I had a dream, When I got to Africa,
I had one hell of a rumble.
I had to beat Tarzan’s behind first,
For claiming to be King of the Jungle.
For this fight, I’ve wrestled with alligators,
I’ve tussled with a whale.
I done handcuffed lightning
And throw thunder in jail.
You know I’m bad.
just last week, I murdered a rock,
Injured a stone, Hospitalized a brick.
I’m so mean, I make medicine sick.
I’m so fast, man,
I can run through a hurricane and don't get wet.
When George Foreman meets me,
He’ll pay his debt.
I can drown the drink of water, and kill a dead tree.
Wait till you see Muhammad Ali.

- Rumble in the Jungle (1974)

Use the booksmarts to make money...or at least much more than the average in America. You then do NOT have to have the most "street" social skills.

I was amazed that I could pick up a few woman and I TOLD them that:
a) I was a math major
b) I don't smoke weed
c) I grew up in the 'burbs

Hell, they would even make a joke about how I am not street (and I would agree). Now I don't know if that was their biological clock talking, that newly-built home of mine that they were in or that foreign car I was driving.

I didn't care. I still got those guts.
