My thoughts from the crime scene pictures:

It has always amazed me how messy murders are. There is never a clean killing, it can be the most pristine of places and as soon as blood gets involved, everything breaks loose.

Also, the stink. Human blood stinks horribly. Gagging just thinking about it.

Im off, getting flashbacks.

Ok, on topic: hot women are even more fucked up than regular women, so its no surprise that one of them turns out murderous.

I suppose. But my disgust with this case arises from the simple basis that there's just no evidence that Knox or Sollecito had anything at all to do with Kercher's murder. The prosecution's laughable theory of some sex game gone wrong has always been preposterous.

That said, I've more sympathy for Sollecito than for Knox. At least she had a way to leave Italy. While on the other hand, that poor bastard may well spend more years in prison for the crime of dating a murdered girl's roommate.

At the beginning, she was a reasonably cute, smiling, study-abroad-type of white girl I would probably day-game at the local Starbucks. Now I'm not sure I would go for it: even for the much-coveted murderer notch.

LOL - that's one helluva potential flag I never really considered!

Yesterday on Sky News the reporter was saying that one supposed new motive the prosecution was using was Knox's supposed anger over the victim's messy bathroom habits (!)

Do have to say the case sounds pretty ludicrous and made up by some over-zealous prosecutor who's champing at the bit to jail an entitled American exchange student. The African-Italian guy is already in jail and apparently looked pretty guilty.

I never kept up with the case, but felt compelled to support Knox primarily due to the court system she was subjected to. Berlusconi get accused of sex with a 17 y.o. girl, and gets this for judges. Can't remember which photo was real, tbh.

Its hard to take that kind of system serious, but I wouldn't want to be in her shoes under such a blatantly corrupt and incompetent group. No wonder she aged so poorly.

A similar witch hunt went down for the Marine A-10 pilots that accidentally clipped that gondola cable.

The odds of her and the italian boyfriend conspiring (or even being involved) are a million to one. The entire prosecution case is so stupid and so completely fucked up, no other prosecutors in any other nation would have charged this.

Young girls with no history of violence simply don't stab people. They could be hysterically jealous, it doesn't matter. Girls use other means, not violence. The odds of a young girl and an italian boy WHO HAD ONLY BEEN DATING FOR A WEEK both deciding to conspire together to slaughter another girl? When they had only fucked once or twice at most? Forget it. It just didn't happen.

Here's what DID happen. The black drifter killed that girl. Who the fuck else do you think stabs girls? Jesus, get a clue people.

I've lose any shred of sympathy I've ever had for the family of the victim. They are stupid vindictive scumbags. Really. Morons. Just watch them on TV. They've lost their girl and their solution to their grief is...find another young pretty white girl to "pin" it on. They hate and feel jealous of the rich white girl, and so it assuages their grief to try to fuck her over. I recognize these people. Had a few in my life. Stupid and brutal, always wanting to hate on somebody prettier than them.

Finally, the Italian justice system is so massively, massively corrupt, that it's literally qualified as an extortion ring. They can't stop the rampant crime, murder, and extortion in Italy, so they resort to going after stupid innocent young american girls.

Yeah, the US justice system isn't that great either, for black and latino men. But Italy is a whole other level of badness.

This kind of reminds me of a case in Bali where a white trash Australian woman named Schapelle Corby was sentenced to 20 years jail for smuggling marijuana in a boogie board bag. Her reaction was to deny deny deny, cry uncontrollably when sentenced, call the police officers who arrested her 'liars' with her whole family slagging off the Indonesia justice system. Unfortunately the Australian media lapped the melodrama up and many years later she is still regularly in the news. The annoying thing is she's not even bangable:

The Indonesian media is still obsessed with her as well. I think at one point she started wearing Muslim clothes to court, then lately her lawyer has been claiming insanity.

The Indonesian media is still obsessed with Corby as well, whether she'll get parole, how much time gets chopped off her sentence each year, etc. Somehow she is a major point of contention between the countries involved.
I think at one point she too started wearing Muslim clothes to court, then lately her lawyer has been claiming insanity. She has definitely nailed the "happy pill" look.

You mean no RECORDED history of violence.

Whatever. Young girl from the west coast, raised in a boring middle class family. The idea that she somehow turned into this evil vixen and was so persuasive that she could convert this italian boy into a killer -- who she had only just met a week before? Forget it.

Small town italians are morons. Italian prosecutors are corrupt shitheads. It really is that simple.

A terrifying but compelling possibility comes into view: normal people, people like her and people like you and me, are capable of doing very bad things indeed and we do them a little by accident, without quite meaning to.

This is IMV the most likely. She and her boyfriend were probably totally fucked up on drugs, were mucking around, things got heated with her flat mate, and it got out of control.

Here's Knox with her new boyfriend. If the Seattle PD is investigating any unsolved murders, they should start by interviewing this guy.

Chick is fucked in the head. That dude is whacko. He looks like the illegitimate offspring of Osama bin Laden and Vlad the Impaler.

^^^How far the mighty have fallen. I used to think the chick was pretty smooth looking, but then she cut off all her hair, got chubby, and boyfriended Duck Dynasty meets Hannibal Lecter.

nah. anyone with any sense/normal, when someone gets the knife out, and is "playing" or "joking" you say "stop." If you don't , you're not the "normal" you're trying to sell.

then again, when some fuckwit lets the knife get near someone's throat, you say STOP again, louder.

The steps to negligent homicide--and certainly to murder 2-- aren't, by definition, blameless.

Feminist journalist blames misogyny for the verdict against Knox.

The brutal murder of a young woman in her own bedroom by a sexual predator is horrible to imagine. But the case of the British student Meredith Kercher, who was killed in Perugia more than six years ago, has been followed by one of the most protracted and tormenting legal processes in recent history.
Last week, an Italian court reinstated guilty verdicts on the victim's American flatmate, Amanda Knox, and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, and yesterday the president of the Florence appeals court told an Italian newspaper the crime was the result of a series of coincidences. It might not have happened, said Alessandro Nencini, if Knox hadn't changed her mind about going to work that evening. He admitted this would be the most "controversial" part of the judgment.

It's worth recalling, at this point, that someone else was convicted of the murder five years ago. Copious amounts of forensic evidence implicated a young man called Rudy Guede, who left Italy after the attack and was arrested in Germany. He was convicted of sexual assault and murder in a fast-track procedure, and his sentence of 30 years was cut to 16 on appeal.

Most sex-attackers are men; Guede had Kercher's blood on his hands and left other evidence behind; there is no incontrovertible evidence placing Knox or Sollecito in the bedroom; forensic evidence cited by the prosecution was discredited at their successful appeal in 2011. Yet the Italian authorities have stood by an idea formed in the immediate aftermath of the killing, which is that a woman must have been the prime mover. The case long ago become a circus, with some British papers gleefully hailing the return of "Foxy Knoxy" after Thursday's verdict. At her original trial, this femme fatale supposedly had such power over two men who hadn't previously met that she was able to persuade them to take part in a murder influenced by black magic.

These were the fevered imaginings of a rank species of misogyny. Their origins lie in the infamous history of Perugia, described as the "epicentre" of 15th-century witch trials. Both sides in the case made the link, with one hostile lawyer describing Knox as a "diabolical she-devil". Five "witches" were burned to death in Perugia between 1445 and 1501; their male "accomplices" were spared on the grounds that they had been bewitched.

Now the Florence court has replaced the black magic motive favoured in Perugia with a row between Kercher and Knox over a dirty toilet. First it was witchcraft, now it's personal hygiene; if that seems a leap, the appeal judges haven't deviated from the prosecutors' original assumption in one crucial respect. They still seem to believe that a young American woman – not the man who left his DNA all over the scene – bears the greatest responsibility for a savage, sexually-motivated murder.

If feminists ever get complete control of the legal system then women won't ever be found guilty of any crime. All men will be guilty until proved innocent.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/03/2...manda-knox-as-italian-high-court-deliberates/

SEATTLE – Despite the murder case hanging over head, Amanda Knox has tried to lead a normal life in the more than three years since she was freed from an Italian prison: She recently got engaged and has started writing theater reviews and other articles for a weekly paper in her hometown.

Mostly left alone by the media in Seattle, the 27-year-old former exchange student completed her studies at the University of Washington and spends time with family and friends, all while observing from afar the legal proceedings that could result in an attempt to send her back to Italy.

An appeals court in 2011 cleared Knox in the slaying of British roommate Meredith Kercher and ordered her released after she had spent four years in prison. But Italy's highest court later overturned her acquittal, and Knox's case has slowly wound its way through the country's judicial system. She was convicted in absentia in 2014.

On Friday, judges on Italy's high Court of Cassation began deliberating whether to affirm her conviction, which could result in an extradition request from Italy for Knox.

She has said she would never willingly return to Italy.

Some woman on the news was blabbing about how the person who was murdered was a victim but Amanda Knox is also one because she still has this hanging over her.

I think that is just the American arrogance that annoys me. I love my country but just because your an American doesn't mean you are above another country's laws and process.

I also can't believe someone wants to marry a fat fuck of an accused murderer.
