I live in NYC and, unfortunately, it is 'the mecca' for 'black culture'. Which basically means that most of the black people under 50 you see are either dumbass thug wannabees or are on that 'black person magic' nonsense, despite having nothing to back it up. Having a decent job is not 'black girl/guy magic'. It's just average person magic'.
So a few things really annoy me about the black people I see regularly here. The first is that, in my opinion, they have been used and are being used by liberals and black politicians and seem to think they are actually getting something in return. They aren't, of course, but they seem to largely be content with shitty public housing projects that are giving their kids lead poisoning and public schools that aren't able to teach their kids anything of consequence (of course, they have a hand to play in that as well). And they won't accept anyone telling them to look around them and challenging them to show what progress giving their support to the liberals has actually made with respect to their lives, their community, their overall place in this country. They get super angry like a dog protecting a bone.
The second thing that annoys me is the refusal to take any responsibility for the situation that so many urban blacks find themselves in. Like the woman who became famous telling the reporter that "somebody needs to pay for my kids" (yes, generally that 'someone' is the person who had the kids and the man to whom she allowed entry). There are so many opportunities that this country gives every citizen, especially minorities these days. And it doesn't seem like any of those opportunities are taken advantage of. Instead, the blame for any lack of advancement automatically shifts to white people, society, or racism (often a combination of all three). But in so many neighborhoods in NYC, the corner stores in the black community used to be owned by Hispanics. Now they're owned and run by Arabs and Muslims. Recent immigrants who can hardly speak English. How is it that they can move to a new country and take these opportunities, but the black people who have been here for 5 generations can't? And don't tell me it's racism because I doubt the alleged racists like Arabs and Muslims any more than they do blacks (could be wrong, don't know any racists).
The other thing that annoys me is that so many black people love to celebrate Malcolm X's birthday one day a year and then completely ignore his message the other 364 days of the year. I'm talking specifically about the importance he placed on education and self-determination. I know a lot of people see him as controversial, but at the very least that part of his message should be accepted by all.
Anyway, those are some of the things that annoy me when I think about the blacks I see around me everyday. My goal is to leave NYC soon, hopefully I'll meet enough other types of black people that my opinion changes for the better.

Interesting point about Arabs and Indians running shops in black neighborhoods.
I hear it's the same in big cities in Kenya and other African countries. Non blacks own a lot of the restaurants and businesses. Can't really blame racism there.

It's almost like all experiences in the world exist only for us to show off by telling anyone who will listen our opinion.
We will lecture anyone, even about experiences that they have had, and we have only read about.
Look at the SJWs.
They can take two hours to tell everyone that white people need to learn to listen.
Just stop talking.
Just shut up.
And don't tell anyone about it.
Stop sharing.
Stop hypothesizing.
You don't even have to listen.
Or learn.
Just shut up.
