It comes down to ownership. He took on investors who were way more experienced than him. He thought he could use the experience and the business needed the money, but he did get shoved out the door. He wrote it off as a learning experience.What's the nature of your involvement? Were you a founder? I'd say if you don't have equity, then it's nothing more than a job. If you have equity, then it's worth giving it your all, knowing that yeah, you could lose out to the majority owner, but at least they'd have to buy you out - you'd at least get a little cash from it.</blockquote>
