Melbourne experienced another form of cultural enrichment today, courtesy of an Islamic terrorist who torched a car with fire and began to indiscriminately stab people.

You shouldn't fancy your chances in a situation like this, as many of the officers will either struggle to contain any assailant or they'll have been previously pressured into not killing attackers, especially those from minority groups.
Look at the first officer being attacked putting his hand out to try and stop the knife. These are the people tasked with defending Westerners and it is patently obvious that they feel restrained in using the weapons they're given.
When a guy with a knife requires pedestrians (one wielding a shopping trolley) to help confront him with armed police, something is SERIOUSLY wrong.
